The place itself is a huge vintage building where all the art is exhibited, showcasing unique pieces with stories behind them. It totally relies on donations so there is no entry fee. They hold competitions for the artwork they exhibit so voting for your favorite piece is encouraged. Once you are do
Beautiful building and park. A hidden gem. It should deserves more attention and care! Unfortunately the maintenance and cleaning are Kiwi style. 😕
Great location and outlook. Hot food options are all pretty good. The cabinet food is excellent and made on site. Staff very friendly and helpful. Definitely worth a visit.
Awesome public place to enjoy. Art gallery indoor + outdoor. A small cafe and a huge park to walk and enjoy giant native trees in. The path is gravel but in good condition, considering we have been having huge amounts of rain recently. The huge trees made for nice walking, though there is a couple o
I like this place, enjoy the Sunday market and I sound beautiful song in here ~
Beautiful place to visit on the weekend with your friends and family. Have a look at the local art work and listen to an occasional concert on the weekend. Bring your dog along to a lovely cafe with the spacious outdoor seating area, grab a cup of coffee and listen to the birds singing in the trees.
Great space, not alot of info on arrival. Cafe sign indicates the entrance. No info seen re program or 'whats on'. I wandered in and enjoyed the spaces available to see some great exhibits. Cafe has great food and options to sit outside w great views. Small gift shop.
I've been past here I few times, not knowing there was one of Auckland's treasures just set back from the road. The art and history side of this place is interesting, and the cafe serves great coffee and cakes.
A must see heritage locale to better understand the beauty of the New Zealand story. Onlooking ONE TREE HILL, overlooking Onehunga, Mangere Mountain and the Manukau hub. It's not hard to understand why historians speculate the Pah homestead to be the birthplace of the Treaty of Waitangi, as colonial
Brilliant. lovely park , views , cafe , art , setting ...A gem....Update Jan 2020, still fantastic grounds, displays, photos etc, feel like the cafe is a letdown, bored, young, disinterested staff who hardly as was the case today look up at you to take your order. Latte was not even lukewarm. They ar
This stop was one of my favorites during my recent trip to Auckland! The Pah Homestead house is beautiful and the artwork was interesting and enjoyable. I had tea and date scones with one of the friends I was visiting. The servers were friendly and kind. The gardens around the house are full of
Lovely gallery and sculpture garden with enthusiastic, informed and helpful staff.
I don't know anything about art, but I had a lovely time exploring the TSB Bank Wallace Arts Centre, checking out their art, sculptures, and installations. Many of the things I didn't understand, but I liked wondering what the artist may have been thinking or feeling when s/he created their work. It
Hidden gem, stumbled upon this place after visiting the dog park. Lively art sculptures inside and out, with a nice little Cafe.
Go for lunch or a coffee, walk around the art gallery, there is a sculpture garden outside and if there weather is good it is set in a wider park that you can walk around, When we went it was a textile exhibition, not something I'm interested in and a photography exhibition which was interesting, i

The Wallace Arts Centre is one of my exciting cultural destinations in Auckland. Located in the historic Pah Homestead in Monte Cecilia Park, Hillsborough, the diverse contemporary art exhibitions gave me inspiration and motivation to experience my own art style.
Amazing house, most of the art wasn't really my thing, still cant get my head around the modern stuff, sculpture outside I did like. Cafe was good and the grounds are huge. Recommended
