A wonderful boutique coffee shop with an old-fashioned atmosphere. A wonderful selection of teas and coffees and a nice environment to sit and watch the world fly past. The staff appear at first to be unforthcoming, but on closer interaction were reserved, friendly and catered for all customers. Definitely a great stop before diving into the hidden gems of Queen's arcade.

Good place to have coffee at Queen Arcade near Britromart. Have several tables in and in front of the shop. The coffee is nice. The owner/salesperson was a little bit annoyed when I asked about the drinks. I used to see her getting annoyed with an elderly woman before this when the woman asked about the food. Should be more friendly & welcome would be much better.

A small chunk of London in downtown Auckland. Coffee is excellent and we loved our barista, she was great (not sure why everyone's fussing)! We had a small cappuccino and a macha latte accompanied by an apple slice. Everything was tip top (and we're picky about our coffee and our apple slices).

I love this little place - an establishment with real sandwiches and real fillings - no sock-infused, quinoa rice paper rolls here. The staff are always friendly and knowledgeable they great tea selection, serve wonderful coffee and sell great gifts! I highly recommend, there's something for everyone!

Cute little cafe tucked away in the busy area of Auckland. Really old timey, small town coffee shop feel to place. This is the best place to grab a cup of tea as they a huge range of loose leaf Harneys tea behind the counter. Great customer service.

Down right disgraceful and quite frankly racist service, they should be ashamed of themselves. We were treated horrendously, the owner is vile to their staff no wonder they have a high turnover. You would not catch me having a brew in there if it was the last place on earth.

Last time I was there, I must admit that I was very disappointed to witness the young owner not provide good customer service to this Asian woman who asked for her help. She seemed very abrupt and spoke to that customer in an unfriendly tone.

We've been frequenting CCH once a week for the past 6 months or so, but the visit today will be the last! The younger European woman is an absolutely horrible person who talks to her staff in a way that I wouldn't use with a dog. Yelling at the young Asian employee in front of all the customers - it's just not acceptable! No wonder their staff turnover is so high. Rude, rude, horrible woman!

When ever I am in Auckland I make a B-line for Customs Coffee. Just love this place. A fantastic blend of old a new. Great Coffee and food with exceptional service. Hard to find that combination these days.

The older woman managing (owner?)- a Ms Clark - there today was abrupt, rude and I'm sure has had something lodged up her butt for a very long time. I don't like saying things like this, however she ruined part of my trip to the CBD today. I won't go there again.
