The service is amazing and the owners are really sweet. They bring you your order to the table, there is free Wi-Fi and the décor is cool! The Plum tea is a must to try, the best tea I've had in my short life!

Cute little place to have breakfast before work. I love ordering their chai latte partnered with pastries. The staff are very friendly and polite.

A good location with a service. You can have your morning coffee with breakfast here before your way to work. They also sell a range of chilled juices.

Nothing terribly special, went there for a bite to eat after getting into Auckland CBD for the first time, having arrived in Auckland from Sydney the evening before. Weird name for a cafe which is run by two Japanese ladies, who spoke orders in Japanese, and had Japanese accents, but hey, thats multi-culturalism for you. Had a mixed berry smoothie, it was okay, nothing great, not too sweet though which was unusual against most other places that do smoothies. Had a curry pie. Yeaaah, it was a Japanese curry pie. You know, that Golden Curry packet stuff you get in Asian/Japanese stores where you cook your meat and vegetables and throw in those cubes of curry mix? Well, scoop some of that up into a pie, and bam, that was the curry pie. My wife had a blue cheese and mushroom quiche. It had a hint of blue cheese taste in it, but not so much it was over-powering. She also had a hot chocolate, and in her words 'it was just a hot chocolate'. Enough said I guess.

Coffee is ok but refuse to open the dine in cafe area for any customers. As I know owner and staff are from Japan however they didn't bring their culture into NZ but just adapt into nz culture with bad customer service. Make customers go no place to sit. It's ok if u want to pay 4.5 for takeaway coffee. Technically I recommend for takeaway cafe is to 2.5 for small and 3.5 for large by Elliot street way better coffee and service.

This hole-in-the-wall cafe is a really lovely place that gives great coffee and good food for a decent inner-city price. The coffee is well made and comes out quickly even when they're busy. They staff the place well for the high traffic periods (7am through 10am). The cooked breakfasts are inexpensive for the city and are decently proportioned. The general bacon and eggs ($12.50) is two eggs any style (they ask if you want them sunny side up or over-easy which I get a kick out of), 4 slices of middle bacon and two pieces of toast. There is also a tomato quarter but I never eat that (hate the things).

Despite them doing the cooking just behind a little screen, it's well ventilated so you don't end up stinking like a short order kitchen for the rest of the day. The staff are friendly and pleasant, and have a good rapport with the regulars.

I visited this place to buy a quick meal. A staff member happily greeted me when I entered. It made me feel welcome in their store. I looked at their bakery as I was looking for food to take away with me. I discovered there was an average variety available, but I felt that there could have been more options displayed. The cafe did have a good range of drinks. The place itself felt a little bit small but it has a window view of an intersection. It has a few seating places consisting of tables and chairs. Overall it has a neat setting.
I bought a chocolate muffin, an almond croissant and a small hot chocolate. The hot chocolate only took a few minutes to make and it tasted nice.
The muffin was rich and sweet in taste. The almond croissant was delicious with hints of sweetness. In the end, I enjoyed the food and drink I bought here. This place is a convenient cafe to visit if you're taking the ferry because it is a walk away from the ferry terminal.
