Royal Horse Takeaway - Auckland Central - Photo album

The dining experience at this establishment is quite pleasant; the food is delicious, and the staff is friendly. The service is consistently prompt, with dishes served promptly. While we frequently opt for takeout rather than dining in, the small diner only has a handful of tables, occasionally requ
I have been to this restaurant twice and each time myself and husband enjoyed it. The food is always delicious and generous portions, if you dine in you get to enjoy their miso soup. This has become a regular for me, definitely recommend to everyone to visit here.
I drove past this place at least 2000 times in the past 19 years but never went in. Heard this place from a friend and noticed that it is actually a proper Chinese takeaway/rest instead of a fish and chips shop. Went in and tasted it, it’s good, 5 stars. You pay for the quality, so other reviewers p
Generous portion, for the pork and chicken cutlet rice, I wasn’t expecting there will be so much vege on the sides. They provided a lot of egg in that stir fry (you know how expensive eggs are lol). It’s great value for $19.5. Free miso soup, clean and homely environment, the lady at the cashier is
My family has been here for Taiwanese meal several times. The set meal is good and fairly priced. Beef noodle is delicious with nuggets of beef. The snacks and free soup there are good too.
Very convenient, very tasty, very heavy. The meals are very big, lots of different surprises too. Price was $10-$15 per meal. Gangster monies worth. If you dine in you sometimes get free soup too. Not the tidiest most fancy restaurant. But fills the hunger craving spots. I usually just takeaway.
authentic taiwanese food, recommend fried chicken, others taste also excellent. meal is served in large portion with 4 types of vege, very healthy and balanced food. they offer 2 kinds of free soups. btw, go early or wait to be seated.
Another good choice for craving Taiwanese foods. Reasonable price set menu with choices of rice and noodles. Taiwanese street foods are also very popular. Dine in get free soup and daily green beans soup
Royal horse is my favourite takeaway restaurant! Their portions are huge and price is friendly. Try out the pork/chicken or the combination cutlet on rice 👍🏻you will not be disappointed. (Dumplings were average)
Good food. Huge portion with enough vege. Soup is too sweet, not my type. Envirement is so so. But good value for money for a quick meal. Will come back.
Local Taiwanese food. Big portions, great taste. Unfortunately prices have risen a bit lately. Free soup if dining in. Closes early.
Very good value, delicious and reasonably priced. Clean surroundings and friendly, efficient service. Highly recommended
Food is 100% top quality! Prices are not too bad either! Only challenge I have is when I order, the person on the line has trouble understanding english. If you can get over that hurdle, you are guaranteed to have a great meal. My go to is the lemongrass chicken and the spicy chicken.
Great value, very tasty food, generous portions. My favourite local spot!
I honestly can't eat them all on my own. For those who were born with a relatively smaller stomach, I would suggest to just order one main and have it for two meals. Cheap and quick!!! One flaw to say is the sause was a lil bit salty for me.
Generous portion and tasty meals. You won't be disappointed even randomly oeder from menu. If you don't have a roomy stomach better prepare your own containers. Free soup and deserts are definitely add on bonus. On street parking is a bit hard during busy hours however can always park across at Thre
Honestly hands down the best Taiwanese “fast food” like a bento style restaurant where they give you 3 side dishes when you order the fried chicken on rice. They have complimentary miso soup and green bean soup for dessert! However the place might not be super clean if you are those that have to mak
Yum, although takeaway was average due to the huge amount of sauce my meal was covered with ! Certainly ask for no sauce. Looking forward to eating in next time !
Cheap and cheerful Taiwanese food, the deep fried chicken cutlet on rice is the star dish, it’s not too oily not too dry and comes with some side veggies to take the guilt away. It also offers free miso soup for diners. My only suggestion is to give the place a coat of paint at some stage, just to f
