I've been in Auckland for a month, and this place has become my absolute favorite for a satisfying lunch. The food here is consistently exceptional, and what makes the experience truly special is the warm and welcoming staff. In particular, Sanju stands out for his excellent customer service skills; he consistently goes above and beyond to ensure guests have a great time. If I ever have the opportunity to run a restaurant in Brazil, having someone like Sanju on the team would be an absolute success.

$5 kebabs or kebabs on rice between 9am-9pm. Really can’t complain. Prefer their wrap to rice though. Real value of money. You can choose three sauces. They open until 4am which makes it a great place for late night food cravings.

Super average place to get kebabs, the prices are high for the amount of food that you get and it does not have the best ambiance as the seating area is on the walking path. One plus is that the food comes out relatively quick.

Honestly, I’ve only gotten 1 thing from this store and it’s the $5 kebab. It’s so amazing for its price and it’s so worth it. It fill you up so much it’s so good. It’s sad other kebabs on Queen chains like the Sylvia park one doesn’t have the $5 deal. Would come here more often when I come to uni next year.

Very bad service, I was in the first line in front of cashier waiting to be served, standing for awhile, she was busy and kind of having conversations with her coworker, then she asked other customers behind me first, and another customer, saying “next please, next please” I was right infront of her but she ignored me, the I interrupted her, tell her I was there she didn’t apologize just asked what I want to order. I know she only doing her job but ignoring your customers and serve them only for money

I ate kebab on rice, it was not the best experience in my life. I love kebab, i love kebab on rice, but this had way too many onions and few meat pieces. The sauce wast too tasty. I'll try another kebab resturant next time

Ordered the KSP or kebab snack pack. If you are craving for the infamous aussie HSP, this will suffice. I got the large one for $11.50 which is a dollar more to the medium one which is way smaller. So might as well shell out that extra dollar. The large one is so much that can be shared. But definitely this made me so full. Will buy it again

Been coming here for two years now. I usually order the $5 chicken kebab which is a cheap and tasty meal on the go after work and uni. However there have been a few times where the lettuce hasn't been fresh but rather brown, and almost every time there hasn't been much chicken at all in the kebab. Service is okay; sometimes they're lovely, sometimes you're just another customer.

I had beef kabab. It was very tasty. Just had a takeaway as i was going back to my hotel. Food was fresh and typical turkish style. Well heard from local people that the place is very well known for their tasty kebab so had to try it!

Tried chicken and lamb kabab. Worth the money. But choose your sauces wisely otherwise you won't like it. Helpful staff. And quick as well. Cheers. 👍🏻

This place is a little more favourite than others as I'd grabbed my 1st meal on my 1st day in New Zealand from here back in August'15. Have had the $5 dollar meal, the kebab wrap , the burger and chicken & chips combo. Loved all of it, really like the quantity as it equals to one whole meal. The staff is polite and friendly. It's one of my favourite takeaways in Auckland.

We ordered falafel rice combo and chicken rice combo and there is only one word to describe the food 'horrible'. The rice was not even cooked properly and tasted stale with no flavour. They were topped up with stale lettuce with 2-3 falafel balls over it(again no flavour). it really takes lot of effort for someone to cook that bad so congrats kebabs on queen, you did it!!

First time trying kebab wrap!! Good service and all that, the place was clean. The wrap is LOADED with meat, vege and sauce which was super filling and yum. I got the mixed meats, I reckon don't try lamb if your a picky eater because the quality isn't like "top restuant" quality, it is takeaway/kebab after all.

I ordered 5$ falafel kebab. It was worth the money. Filling up totally. But one thing I did not like was the loud music. The boys played very loud music which gave me a headache in 5mins while waiting for my order.

First time I bought a lamb rice meal for $5, half of the lettuce was brown so I only ate the fresh ones. Still really nice meal though for that special price they offer for weekdays only.

Disgusting service!!!!!!!! Ordered a regular chicken kebab, the employee working Saturday night left us feeling uncomfortable not wanted to eat our meal. We weren't aware when our order as being made as the employee proceeded to choose which vegetables he wanted in OUR kebab. (He didn't asked us so we assumed this was someone else) After seeing him proceed with making another persons kebab (with different sauces to ours) we then realised that the first kebab he made was ours. We then asked for our kebab to only have lettuce. There was a very disturbing reaction from the employee when we told him this, thus he then picked up the kebab he first made, with the incorrect ingredients, and then threw it aggressively on the ground. Not happy and would not recommend anyone to go. His employees were laughing as he did this and he was cursing about us in his own language.

Good if you want to grab a cheap filling meal! There's not much seating so you'll have to find a place in city to eat it tho! Good portion + cheap Guys there are also usually friendly :)

Came here with my friend today. We had the $5 chicken kebab. It was pretty good and the consistency of the salad and the chicken was also nice. It was a little hard to eat it cause the sauce was coming out from the other end.:P so it was hard and messy to eat it in the uni. Maybe they should pack the kebab more nicely. In terms of hygiene, it was okay. They have really good deals for students. I've also had their falafel snack box which was okay. The falafel was a little oily for my taste. Overall it is a nice cheap place. :)

Kebabs on Queen is my go-to place for a quick fix at a super affordable $5. I always go for a chicken kebab with all of its salads and it has been consistently good! The wrap is toasted nicely-usually golden brown and crispy. The meat is lean and it's always great to have the kebab loaded with fresh lettuce, tomatoes and pickles! They are also very generous with their sauces. 😊

I've been here last night, and one of the staffs just pushed me to come in as well as to get a kebab. Anyway, I order it since the Mcdonalds was full of the people. He just charged few more dollars for adding cheese without any asking. I really wanted to say this. "I'm your customer, you just do what I order" need little more care in treating customers. Food was just fine.

Price is reasonable but one of staff makes me shame that he counts price when he put the food ingredents, and then he said " you order $5 kebab so u can get just this amount" I know I order $5 kebab and I do not expect over value for $ 5 kebab. How come did u guys say like that? I'm not interested about amount of $5 kebab, I just order $5 kebab and he put food like throwing away. plz be professional even you guys sell cheap foods. You guys handle the food not rubbish. I will not go there again.

Went to kebab on Q st to get a t.a. this morning. Loving the prices. Got a mixed kebab for $5. However not loving the hygiene or amount to tomatoes I'm getting. Girl making the kebab was quite sloppy. Sauce everywhere, salad all over the bench. And I have almost non existent tomatoes in my kebab. I've got half a slice of tomato skin in my whole kebab. Disappointed. PS. Hummus is a bit watery. Good for a quick fix if you're desperate.

Today we went to Kebabs on Queen, located in 302, Queen Street, Auckland CDB, Auckland. It`s a take away restaurant for someone searching a fast and cheap meal. The atmosphere at this place is quite busy, a typical take away restaurant , that has quick service and friendly staff. We ordered three chicken kebabs and french fries. We could choose three kinds of sauces like barbeque, garlic yogurt, mayo, sweet chili, etc. The french fries were a bit bland and unsalted, but the kebabs were yummy! The salad was very fresh, and the chicken was cooked perfectly. The sauces were amazing too! We recommend Kebabs on Queen to anybody who is looking for a healthy, delicious and quick meal.

I ordered 5 dollar kebab at down town. (One that next nomad hostel- in front of police station) The guy from India was clean/wipe the glass that covers slarad without gloves on. When I made order he starts making kebab without washing his hands or put the gloves on. But the thing is..he use his hand to move kebab from plate to aluminium foil and he poke the kebab with his finger to roll it. When I walked away he graps colth that he cleaning with. I end up throwing the kebab away. The level of his hygiene awareness is very poor. I know it is only 5 dollar kebab but it doesn't really Nessary mean 'dirty' I don't really see him working/ serving the food with dirty hands.

I got the $5 meal today, a huge tray of chicken and salad. OK so I will admit that it did not taste the best, I have had heaps better elsewhere, but the price is just crazy, and I will definitely be going back, as it is affordable and nutritious.

Awesome. For $5 their kebabs are good :) The only thing I won't touch is the hummus. It tastes watered down and off tasting, like they just make the new days batch mixed into yesterdays. Other than that, chicken kebabs are great :D

I must say I have never had a bad kebab from Kebabs on Queen and a stop here is a highlight to the end of a trip into the city. Always friendly and great food. Perhaps the previous people forgot to SMILE!

PATHETIC!!!! is the only word I have for this store. They use rotten veggies, spoiled yoghurt and stale meat. Their customer service is even more pathetic!!

New and super clean kebab store! The staff are always welcoming, pleasant, and polite. We ordered two falafel kebab combos, at $14 each (includes full size kebab, chips, small drink). The chips were great and the kebabs well made. We would return just because of the wonderfully good natured staff.

How much you enjoy Kebabs on Queen depends on how little you're looking to spend. From 9am-9pm on weekdays you get to choose from your favourite kebab or rice dish for just $5. This is the best deal you can get on food in the city, which is why there's always a queue at Kebabs on Queen. The staff are nice and polite but during peak hours, they often make mistakes taking orders. The place is usually quite clean. Based on just the $5 special, I would give a much higher rating. I will give awesome review to this shop as it was heaven for us ( students of AUT).. We used to get student discount there for nice juicy, crunchy qebab rolls. Out of world taste, nicely wrapped and huge portion.
