Have been to this restaurant many times. Delicious food and friendly service. A good selection in the menu. Reasonable serving and affordable prices. Pleasant environment and spacious seating. If you like traditional Korean cuisine, don't miss this place. I am sure you will not be disappointed.

My wife and I went here with some friends. One of our friends said it was really good and boy were they right. The food here is some of the best Korean food I've ever had. Also at reasonably cheap prices. I had the Original Tteokbbokki and my wife had the Fried Chicken. They were both delicious. The service was wonderful as well. We were all very impressed and left with smiles and full stomachs. Would definitely go again.

Love the Soy & Garlic fried chicken and the Kimchi Rice with bacon and fried egg. We come back for these items. Price is reasonable and the food tastes great. The service is friendly too. Keen to try other items off the menu in future.

One of our favorite korean restaurant and local. Service very good and the owner so friendly, if you need more side dishes, can ask for more. Food very tasty, need to try their spicy fried chicken. Recommend this place

Soy garlic chicken was crispy and delicious. Rice came in metal bowl which kept it hot. Chicken portion was decent. The only downside to the experience was the atmosphere of the place. A bit dark, cold and jail-like.

Hidden Gem, I love the fried chicken, bbq pork and fish roe soup. Chicken is tender with strong garlic and corn sugar. First bite it will melt in your mouth. Nice place to visit plenty parking.

Great place to have a comforting Korean food. Unsuspecting location but don't let that fool you!! We had the kimchi fried rice and bimbimbap, both are delicious with very generous portions.

A hidden Korean restaurant in Massey. Food were delicious, your typical Korean food. Delicious chicken, soup and sides. Staff was very accommodating to us.

We had takeaway from them this morning, it was lovely as always. The way they treat their customers is always topnotch, well packed food, lovely sides and the food was worth the wait. Best kimchi i had. Highly recommend this gem

The first Korean meal I ate when I came to Oakland, it tasted delicious, and I felt like coming home, very satisfied.

Delicious Korean food experience...I love how they always present a variety of pickles to eat with your meal. We had 4 types of pickles... Kimchi vegetable, pickled radish (my favourite), seaweed (another favourite), and bean curd strips. They very kindly replenish the pickles too. My all time favourite was the Seafood Pancake which came with a soya sauce and spring onion dipping sauce... love love loved it!!! Very friendly service, and reasonable prices. Thank you soooo much 😍

We found out about this restaurant through uber eats and they didn’t disappoint our expectations. Their fire wings were delicious. However, it wasn’t that spicy, but still flavorful and yummy. We also tried their japchae and korean bbq pork- it was good. We’ll definitely be ordering again from this restaurant.

Lovely classic restaurant that is very quiet. They offer all the classic Korean dishes and recently also offer Korean fried chicken which is delicious! Great for a quick Korean food fix.

Excellent service, food was amazing and came out quick! 10/10 would recommend. Well worth the visit 😊

Had fish roe soup for uber eat. The soup is cold like just got out of the fridge, no rice included (usually Korean restaurant includes rice for free). What’s the point of having a delivery that isn’t ready to eat????? Had other orders from this restaurant before, taste is below average, lack of meat for a any dish, but the delivery was ready to eat! This time is just soup out of the fridge put into a container and pass to the uber eats delivery! It’s just overnight food that’s been in the fridge for like few days already I guess??

New on Uber eats, had this delivered for dinner last night. I had beef and veges with a side of rice. Meal not heavy so is a nice change. Probably not somewhere I'd eat often but would eat here again.

I love this Korean place ❤️ The location wise might be tricky to find, but definitely worth the explore! The food tasted like home cook meal 😁

We ordered fried dumplings, spicy squid and a kimchi pancake. The sides were free and you can ask for them to be topped up. Everything was delicious!! Portion sizes were generous and the staff very friendly. The venue clean and tidy. I’ll be going back. This will be my go to Korean restaurant out West.

I got a spicy pork bone soup with potatoes and it had NO potatoes! And heaps of silverbeet which I don’t mind but don’t like it how it’s not the same as the menu/as I expected. Average side dishes, average meal. The spicy stew lamb my friend had smelt nicer but was the same soup base as the spicy pork bone one. Was very stuffy inside. Only 1 fan turned on and no air conditioning :( Customer service was good and fairly fast. Might come back and try other dishes next time but won’t be on top of my list.

I have a mix feeling about this place. Let's talk about my first impression on this place. I found this place on Zomato because I was looking to try new Korean restaurant and this place seems to have good reviews. I am surprise they are close on Sunday because I thought that should be the busiest day but anyway I came on another weekday night and found absolutely no other customer at all! It was my first time here so I was kinda worry if I made the right choice. This place is really hidden in the corner if it wasn't for Zomato I wouldn't have find it. The interior looks very old but I have to admit it was clean. I had the spicy beef skew which comes with steamed rice and 4 different kimchis. I was hoping the food can convince me to come again but I was totally disappointed by it. I ordered SPICY BEEF skew! There was hardly any beef in there except 3 to 4 pieces thinly sliced beef with lots of bean sprouts and rice noodles. If I forget what I had ordered I would believe I actually ordered a vegetables skew that looks very spicy in the red soup but it wasn't spicy at all. Now I know why this place is so quiet because I can hardly tell myself to come back again given that I love Korean food so much. I honestly think that this place can have a lot of improvement because they made good kimchis. If they work on their main and make customer's spending more value for money, there's still chance to get regular customers.

I love Kang Na Ru - I'm sad to see that it's always only got 1-2 other patrons when I enter :( the food is so delicious. I had their sun dae half a year ago and still think about it (traditional intestine sausage soup). It was so delcious - sausages have great texture and always served super hot for cold nights. We returned the other night to grab it again (to combat the winter chill and the fact I was fighting the flu), but sadly they've temporarily stopped making it due to it being a lot of work to produce. I chose the chicken ginseng soup instead and boy was I glad - I don't know how long they stewed the chicken but it was the softest chicken I've ever had, plus the piece was huge. The bones had been stewed so long that they literally snapped in my mouth no matter how gentle I was. True bone broth! The chicken is stuffed with sticky rice and the soup was soothing and delicious. The free sides here are also very yummy and a bit different than in the city. They seem to change them up instead of sticking to the same 3. My partner also loved his kimchi soup but I was mostly too focused on my chicken to notice.

This is my favourite place to enjoy amazing food while having a bottle of soju. The owners are lovely people. The food is devine and it is really cheap. I often eat here three times a week. I always look forward to the experience and leave satisfied every time!!!

Pretty basic but authentic Korean restaurant. Pleased to see the Council "A" rating which such joints usually struggle to achieve. Reasonably priced food. Pity they are kind of tucked away in a quiet corner otherwise they would be busier. Would go back again.

Stumbled across this place hidden away in the corner of Royal Heights centre. Lovely little family-run restaurant with a really authentic Korean atmosphere. Seatings are on the floor like traditional Korean culture as well as some normal tables and chairs available. Lots of menu options from the usual Korean dishes you'd expect like bulgogi to the more traditional Korean like ostrich meat which you can barely find at any other Korean restaurant in town. Taste-wise, the soups were really soothing but the bbq dishes were just okay, nothing to brag about. I assume they are well known for their soups and stews as every table seems to come for the hotpots. They use black rice instead of the normal white rice though which surprisingly, was what made the whole meal wonderful and differentiate them from other Korean restaurants. The service was quick and friendly despite English being very limited. Portions were really appropriate with the price(which was really cheap). Hygiene was well above standards. Overall good to have a little Korean gem in the area. Photos will follow.
