A little game pub by the road. Easy to walk in, sit down, just go to the counter to order something simple and fresh, it won't let you down.

A couple of seats lay out at the bar counter, however, something unique come up to your mind. People have their names at the back of the chairs to mark their special seats.

I have seen people saved the half of drink at the bar, this is something first come to vision.
Old ladies and men rush in and out, then you will realize it is a game bar in the end.

Order fish&chips, they will help you bring takeaways. Yes, why not have some chips pairing larger beer on a warm Sunday afternoon?

Disgusting! After being served with a 4inch stale baguette for $9 I queried the value. I was insulted and told that it had Italian Ham and garlic butter what more did I want? This was by the owner! No offer of refund or a better value roll. It was stale and then the owner came to my table where I was hosting a client and abused me and told us to finish our drinks and leave. I never encountered small, angry rude and arrogant people in France and now I know why, they are in Mildord running a wine bar and a bottle shop, that I and my varied local network of friends and customers will not be supporting. We do not need this person in the NZ hospitality industry.

I don't like their wine selections. This place only sells wine and nothing else. A proper wine bar should serve both wines and food, which has the function of bringing more life to the wines. Without food, it's a bit pointless to try the wines there.

I don't like on a Sunday lunch time how a bar has a very limited menu. Didn't look at the menu properly when we wanted a pizza only to be told they didn't do them as there was no kitchen.
Waited a good half hour for what was essentially a piece of bread smeared with tapanede and a pastry with ham and cheese.
In hindsight I would have gone elsewhere. Plus side was the wine selection which is great and very reasonably priced. I get this is a wine bar but good food does need to be served alongside good wine.
