Great food, best chicken nibbles, great crunchy chips, chow mein and combination friend rice was great! Won tons and steak sandwich roll is to die for! Amazing food 🙌🏽
We are really impressed with the food & service at A1 :) We've been 2 every chinese outlet in west akl & don't think 2 much of them; However, here the food is very tasty, worth the $$$ & the staff r lovely. The rice is actually fried (important point)

If you’re someone that loves a good f*** off Chinese feed this is the place. I ordered the chicken fried rice, 1/2 dozen fried wontons and the fish burger. I’m fatty so I know food 😂😂😂 anyway this place won’t let you down (unless you want mussels then your crap outta luck cause they didn’t have any left at 2pm which is a good thing I suppose) anyway highly recommend this place. I would’ve given a solid 5stars if I got my battered mussel fix lol.

You can never go wrong with the combination fried rice and sweet and sour pork. :) None in the area can compare to this takeaway. When are you coming back? Massey needs you. ;)

Wanted to try a different takeaway and ended up here. (thanks Zomato for making it easy to find) I did a phone order in advance as I don't live in the area. We got some Chips, Works Hot Dogs and a Deep Fried Mars Bar. Upon picking up from the store they were friendly and prompt, the food was ready in the amount of time advised on the phone 15 minutes.
Chips were awesome, tasted like chips I used to get from my childhood. The Works Hot Dogs were nice too. Really enjyed the Fried Mars Bar. I am not a fan of these and I got it for my partner but tried it and it was perfect. The batter was perfect and not soggy. I want to come back here just for the chips and that Fried Mars Bar.
Recently discovered this place.! Yumm! The potatoes and chicken drums are a fave with the kids after school now. The $32 special with beef stir fry, pork sweet and sour and fried rice is real good and enough for a family of 8.

Fantastic food. My favourites are Nasi Gorang, if you’re brave ask for it extra, extra hot, or, if you’re bored with lunch bar lunches, try the A1 Jumbo burger. It’s all you need for lunch at under $10.00
