Popped in for a quick coffee and a slice of cake. Very tidy premises and the owner/ barista made a lovely cup of Java.
I liked the matching decorative china wear, it added to the ambiance.
The laying of cup & plate and placement of cutlery by the owner as seen was a classy touch.

Easy access restaurant with attractive roadside frontage. The inviting and characterful restaurant has an extensive menu to meet most Kiwi and traveller's tastes and character. A childrens' menu complements the dining and takeaways menus.
The Mexican Burger was tasty and pleasantly spicy/'hot". Chips were exquisite and served hot. Each if the dishes 'on rice' were tasty, nicely heated and plentiful.
Team members were pleasant, helpful and efficient in taking and making up the order in great time.

Food is pretty good wasn’t expecting the food to be this good. But a few things to work on. There is not enough sauce on both rice and wrap chicken intact way too less sauce. The rice was nice and moist but was bland because of the lack of sauce. The toilet doesn’t have a lock and the wash basin doesn’t have a paper towels.

One of Auckland's best Kebab restaurants. Great tasty food, original homemade ingredients for the sauces etc...no cheap packet stuff here. Also the meat is fantastic, they only use whole unprocessed meat (which is good because a lot of other places use that nasty compressed meat roll stuff that's disgusting).
They also do a great coffee.
Have been going there for 3.5 years and have never been disappointed with the quality of the food.
Highly recommended.

I ordered the Monster Burger Combo, and it certainly is a Monster of a burger. When I feel like a burger this place is my go to burger place. Staff are always friendly and the place is beautifully set out with different seating styles.

This is our go to kebab shop in Auckland. The food is akways fresh and tasty especially the purple gcabbage mix with dressing. The meat has a great marinade on it andvthe falafel is amazing. We normally get chicken and falafel kebab mix, mix meat on rice and satay chicken burger with combo on each which is chips and drink works out about $60 for 3 meals. They do have kids meals to which are cheaper. The owners are amazing people and the employees are just as wonderful. Well worth a stop off or drive for dinner. They open late to so do call as youll be surpised tthey normally still open at 9pm.

The chicken souvlaki was delicious! The hummus was really lovely. My son had chippies and smoothie and the tropical smoothie was surprisingly fresh and tasty! It was a nice cup of coffee as well. All around we were so pleased

1week ago i visited this shop old man was there Worst kebab ever. i ordered mixed on rice with (extra meat)<br/>Didn't get extra meat as well paid for extra sauce but nothing was extra they just charge you extra service is worst . Prefer not to visit this kebab shop

Got cold kebabs with hardly any meat. Got a mixed kebab for $14 and was loaded with rice and a few slivers of meat. Not good enough and won't be returning. The kebab shop on dominion rims extension is the next in the area but so much more value for money.

This place is usually nice, but tonight we ordered $70 worth of food and got cold kebabs. And very bad service, we ordered our food over the phone only to get there and be told the eftpos machine was down and we had to go across the road to get cash out when he could've told us over the phone. He also waited for us to get there to ask what sauces we wanted and after all that effort and money, we got terrible cold food

I usually go here in the afternoon when the owner isn't there. The service would be great and the food would actually have a decent amount of meat in it. I knew when I saw the owner in the shop it's going to be bad news. I bought a chicken souvlaki and all I got was rice topped with like 5 pieces meat. The owner is a just downright stingy and doesn't know how to serve a proper meal that i paid $15 for.

We visited this place on a Wednesday evening. We ordered falafel on rice as we hadn't had it for it a while. I wasn't expecting much on falafel. But, when our food arrived, the falafel was crunchy outside and juicy inside and really enjoyed it. I felt the portion was small other than that, the taste was good and flavourful. Will visit next time for their kebabs.

Meat is nice but the portion size is very small. The photo attached is a mixed on rice with "extra meat" at $17.50 but as you can see it looks like a standard sized meal. Not good value for money in comparison to other kebab places. Will not be returning.

Average monster burger very expensive for what it is, Stingy on the fillings too. Expect alot better for the price. Cant speak for the kebabs but if the burgers are anything to go by i wont be returning.

A good place for the occasional kebab in the suburbs, but is relatively expensive compared to the city. The quantity is higher than usual and the food quality is on par with most kebab places.

This place was a pleasant surprise. Was just passing by and decided to have a quick a bite. It turned out to be quite good. The variety of the dished are amazing, the portions are good and the service is fast. <br/>Prices are slightly on the higher side but worth the money. The chicken soulveki on rice was my fav would surely revisit this place to have a go at their burger range.

This Kebab shop is good, not outstanding but good. The mix kebab on rice is yummy as are the chicken donner kebabs. Always get a garlic bread with hummus dip which is nice and one thing that I can say is great are the fries! They are delish. Quite pricey and average sized meals. Staff are reasonably friendly and it's clean and inviting inside. I'd say it's the best local kebab place for sure.

Bay Kebab has the tastiest kebabs and burgers in Auckland. The staff are chill, the boss is the man, always out front on his iPad probably owning on angry birds. <br/><br/>If you want a solid, tasty, satisfying meal hit up bay kebab. You won't be able to eat any fast food again because it just won't compare, taste wise or financially.<br/><br/>

The Chicken and Lamb Souvlaki at this restaurant is fantastic. The garlic pita bread and chips are to die for as well. Great little place in Blockhouse Bay. The only problem for me is the seating- it's not very comfortable. If you're getting takeaways though this place is great

Been here before as one of my local food cafe , but my last visit here ths Saturday was a disappointing one . Place is neat and clean , quality of food is not bad too but the serving portion of food is very less. Meat and sauces is too less on the rice , Even if you ask for a bit more Hummus you will find very little on your plate ,you are at a Normal Kebab place and not at a fine dinning place. You don't get what you pay for.

The chicken souvlaki rice dish and kebab is fantastic. Burgers are full of fresh ingredients and are a meal in themselves. Love the Mexican chicken burger - Chicken is not deepfried but is lightly seared. Staff are always friendly. I am glad this place is just around the corner from where we live!!!

Just had lamb rice takeaway from Bay Kebab and Coffee. Really tasty, staff very friendly and helpful. Would have liked swish kebab but nth said they'll be doing that soon. Burger menu looked good. Will be back.

I just love this place. The chicken souvlaki rice meal is my favourite and it is delicious. The guys who work there are so welcoming and friendly. The premises are clean and tidy. There is parking out the front and you can dine-in or take-away.
