Accidentally came across this gem on the way back to our hotel. The noodles are hand made fresh for each dish, and you can really taste the difference in flavour and texture. Be mindful that each bowl of noodles contains a very healthy amount of noodles - so definitely consider sharing if you aren't big eaters. We had dishes A1 and A5 and they were both really good. The dumplings were definitely worth trying as well. We all loved the food and the staff were friendly and helpful, and also knowledgeable when we asked about the dishes (mainly around spice levels for the kids).

Everything is bigger in Texas. So was everything at this authentic restaurant, serving big bowls of noodles full of flavor. We ordered the supreme bone soup, the spicy soup with the fermented veggies, and the lamb kebabs. All were delicious. The supreme soup came with a massive plate of meat on the bone. They have a noodle challenge as well that pays you $100 if you finish the bowl which is 3x the "normal" size. I wish we had this where we live.

A great place to eat traditional pulled noodles! The customer service went above and beyond what is expected. The atmosphere is clean and cozy located in a quiet tucked away area of the city. They offer 15% discount for the girls night event happening everyday after 10pm - it applies as long as there is a female in the group. If you live in the city and crave a night snack, then this is perfect.

Great way to celebrate our midweek anniversary. Gabriel is the man!! Very friendly and hospitable service. First time here and we probably over-ordered because the bowls are generous but so glad we got the pork dumplings. They were delicious. We ordered a side of broth to soak them as well. Can’t wait to go back!

Ordered the beef noodle soup with pickled cabbage. When the dish came out it had the aroma of a beautiful bowl of Pho. However, one the ingredients were mixed through it tasted completely different (in a good way). The pickled cabbage and Sichuan peppers 🌶️ gave the soup a great kick. Good serving of meat pieces which were tender and delicious. The noodles were chewy, just the way I like it. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in town and craving something late after a night out.

Not sure if this place has relations or connection with Jinweide noodles in Botany as they look similar including some of the menus. Anyways, From what we have had today these are the ones that stands out for us.. (A2) Braised beef noodles those beef slices are tasty. Pan fried dumplings -prawns yum! Dumplings are soft despite being fried and very tasty. Lamb BBQ skewers taste just ok like everyone else's.

It’s a new & clean venue featuring genuine pulled noodle recently that has opened on Dominion Road. Friendly staff, and the portion sizes are worth it, the flavors are familiar and are near what you would find in China, leaving some room for improvement. Noodles are very good, great if you want a authentic Chinese taste. Lots of choice. Reasonable pricing too, around $18. Highly recommend. The only thing that makes it 4 stars is the service. You have to get your own cups, water, and utensils, and the water and utensils are on opposite ends of the restaurant, making it annoying. The staff are not super friendly. Come here for the food

Ordered last Friday night for contactless pickup during Covid-19 Lockdown. Excellent hand-made noodles that I will drive 25 minutes for, not to mention the delicious soup and friendly service. Discovered King Made before the last Lockdown, and have been coming here ever since. Takeaway serves are generous, and well-packaged. Beef Bones are superb... A11 is highly recommended! Arrive hungry, and you won't be disappointed.

I got the first dish on the menu which is a soup based noodle with beef “A1. Traditional Beef Noodle Soup”. The broth was so rich and there was so much beef, and the portion size is huge so I was surprised that it was so cheap. I really enjoyed how the dish had a refreshing after taste with the radish. It gests quite busy during lunch so I try and go during times where I can avoid congestion. Service is fast and good. The place is clean and you can also watch noodles being made on site.

3.5 rating- If you are after a simple, warm bowl of beef noodle soup without the fuss or having to choose from an elaborate menu then King Made Noodles is your place to go to. Clean and balanced flavours and beef pieces were also nice and tender. Would have been great with a couple more pieces of beef to go with my noodles as I was out of beef after the first few bites. Plenty noodles and soup. I gave it a 3.5 because though it was a lovely bowl of noodles, I wasn’t wowed by it. I would still come back to satisfy my cravings.

Their broth is simmer with bones for hours; and the noodle is hand-pulled everyday according to your preference of thickness. Dumpling tastes nice too, the skin isn’t too thick, and the filling is flavoured. The price is really reasonable with the quality of food.

First of all, I love their thick noodles! Really bouncy and fresh. I ordered the OG beef noodle while my sister opted the spicy braised beef one but with a different fettucine kind of noodle (the noodles weren't as good as mine). Overall the portion size was large (we couldn't finish our bowl) and on a hot summers day we are always grateful for outdoor seating :)) Double chins again

Hopped in here for a quick dinner before rehearsal and I must say I was quite pleasantly surprised. I ordered a non-spicy beef noodles soup which was quite flavourful despite what the broth looked like. It's quite cool how you can see the chef make the noodles from scratch and even then the service was quite fast. Cutlery and water is self service so remember to get some before your noodles arrive :)

I ordered the braised beef noodle which was around $15 and the broth was unexpectedly blasting with flavour. The braised beef chunks were also nicely marinated and the noodles had a nice chew. The beef bones were also good but would have been better with maybe a dipping sauce? Side dishes were cheap but the pickled Vegas could have been more sour. All in all a decent meal

It is mildly spicy🤪 , soup base is full of flavors, the braised beef is sooooo tender😍! We love that they put so much beef in there. * * Chinese Lamb Burger (孜然羊肉夹馍) (pic4): We would recommend this as a must order! Lot of lamb pieces, it's spicy and the lamb is very juicy 💦. Perfect starter to chew on while you wait for your noodles. They are also very quick bringing out the food. * * Their side dishes are also amazing with the noodles, cold and sour balance out the oil in noodles. You can choose any 3 for $4.99💰. Overall, we love their food so much and we want to come back soon for some famous ribs 🍖

Rating 3.5. Very popular Chinese noodle joint. It was packed for Sunday night dinner. The stuff were ran off their feet & can’t keep up with service, there were dirty dishes everywhere. Notwithstanding this the noodles were actually quite good. When you call it “Supreme” there’s a lot to live up to. The beef bones with ginormous, but very good, bit too hot to eat with the flimsy disposable gloves they give you.

We ordered the signature beef noodles and surprisingly there were lots of beef slides inside! Noodles were made upon orders and you could see the chef making them as it’s a semi-open kitchen. The noodles were chewy and cooked well. There were lots of choices for side dishes also

Ordered one noodle soup and waited for half an hour still not coming(not the peak time lol). I asked a waitress how long it would take. She quickly brought my order and said it was ready 5 mins ago but they couldn't find me. Fine, they couldn't find their customer in their restaurant and left order on the table for long time. I couldn't tell the food quality because the noodles were not firm when they have been in the soup for "5 mins". Never come back.

We found and told the cashier that the bill amount was wrong (we were overcharged). She changed the amount without saying sorry. After this, we said we would like to pay by Zomato but she impolitely said Zomato cannot be used today (we used Zomato to pay in this restaurant before). Then we asked if we could pay by WeChat or Alipay because there are WeChat and Alipay stickers at the counter. The cashier impatiently said “our boss said we only accept cash or card today”. She behaved as if we were cashiers and she were our honourable guest.

Really enjoyed the hand pulled noodles here. Their open kitchen allows you to see the chef making the noodles. Cutlery and water is self serve and you order and pay at the counter. The noodle portions are generous and the texture of the noodles are amazing. The broth in the soup noodles is so tasty and piping hot! The side dishes are affordable and there are lots to choose from in the display cabinet. I loved the pickled cabbage cold dish.

Ever since the closure of the first Lanzhou beef noodle place I went to in Auckland, I have been waiting for another to open. That time has finally come and I have completely fallen in love with this place. The food: Freshly made and stretched noodles, giving you a fantastic mouthful and bite to the noodles. The soup is savoury and bold, just the right amount of saltiness (compared to other reviewers). The amount of flavour in the soup is necessary in order to properly flavour the noodles. The service: Friendly and cosy environment. You are able to see the side dishes clearly. The price: Finally, a restaurant in Auckland CBD that does not break the bank. This place offers up big portions for an affordable price. You will be full walking out, no doubt about that.

I think it is good value since it is on the cheap side, the hand made noodle is full of texture, but the soup is too salty, even the sauce on the dry noodle is on the salty side as well, I had a word with the owner, he told me the soup has to be this salty in order to get the flavor in the hand made noodle, I don't want to argue but just add a bit of salt when making the noodle dough and let the noodle become drinkable would be nice, anyway, just don't drink the soup and you will be fine.

And hand pulled noodle provides great texture throughout the dish plus, they give you plenty of beef slices to eat along with noodle till end. Best Chinese hand made noodle I have eaten in Auckland. I tried the beaf noodles with soup, and all the ingredients matched each other perfectly. Noodles were chewy and flavorful and soup was seasoned well. Really recommend.

Authentic Lan Zhou handpull noodle, beef soup full of flavour. Having tried all the flavours available I can recommend the No 1 beef noodle and beef noodle with sour cabbage. Busy restaurant means at peak hour you could wait 30 mins or longer for a bowl of noodle.

Stulbled upon this gem accidentally but turns out its Super Authentic! Traditional hand pulled noodles and braised beef is their signature dish and boy they do it well. You can watch their chef prepare the noodles in person in an interactive prep station while you wait. Their menu is rather limited but this helps keep the focus on what they do well. Highly recommend trying them out! Pork Buns, pork dumplings try it all. They're fairly well priced as well.

Food lacks taste. Does not have that Xinjiang Zilan flavour in pork burger. Noodle soups not spicy enough even if I add spice. Noodles were not elastic enough. Quantity good. Place clean. Would still recommend.

This new eatery is probably one of the better Chinese eateries in CBD. You can see the chef hand pulling the noodles and it gets served relatively quickly, which is a boon for office workers on the go. I got option A1 and probably the only thing I was unsure about was that it was supposed to have white radish in it...but I only located two slivers in my entire bowl. The meat was also quite strange in that it tasted exactly like bone marrow but wasn't very tender like it had been in the soup for a long time so I'm not sure where the flavour comes from. But now, to the star of the show. The noodles are thinner but still chewy. I personally prefer them even being a little thinner to soak more flavour, but if you like thick flat noodles then this may not be to your preference. The soup can be made non spicy on request, but it ends up being subtle without a kick and reliant on the herbs to carry it. The noodles came as a medium sized portion, so I wish they did an option for adding extra noodles for people that are feeling hungry. Overall, this was a decent cheap eat. It will be interesting to see if they can maintain the quality past the initial opening phase.

This relatively new Chinese eatery on Fort St is serving up authentic hand-pulled noodle dishes. Simple and decent, this was a satisfying quick meal. Although I do personally prefer the wide, flat hand-pulled noodles like they do at Shaolin Kung Fu over these thinner ones, I always enjoy the chewy texture of hand-pulled noodles. You can also see the chef pulling the noodles which is pretty cool. My pork mince dry noodles was a bit clumpy though making it harder to mix. Pork buns was average. Portion-wise, I feel like if you're super hungry, one bowl may not be enough so I'd recommend adding sides with their combo options. But anyways, King Made Noodles is providing us with another solid cheap eat option in town. With such affordable pricing, this can easily become your new go-to spot when you're craving some tasty noods. 💡Tip: on Monday to Friday from 2.30-5pm, all noodles are only $10! The noodles and buns taste really good, but you will not feel full after one bowl. Maybe after two bowls of noodles and 5 buns. The 炸酱面 is also quite clumpy and hard to mix, maybe rinsing after boiling the noodles will help.

We ordered beef noodles soup,the mince pork noodles,3 side dishes which was cucumber salad, tea egg and beef slices. The noodles had a great texture, they were bouncy and fresh. It was definitely authentic as you could see the chef literally pulling the noodles in front of you. The beef broth was on the light side. The pork mince was very flavorful. Side dishes were yum. I would be back.

I’ve never written a review before but this place definitely deserves one :) I ordered two hand pull noodles and didn’t actually specify it was for takeaway and the boss remade the whole order just for me to takeaway so I can eat it hot! Super considerate boss and staff!! The soup is absolutely on point and loved how bouncy the noodles were :D will definitely come back for more noodles 😍

Excellent noodles with great chew and texture, delicious soup that’s perfectly seasoned with salt and flavoured with scallions, tender beef. Only gripe is that the beef could be a little bit more moist but other than that, this is a fabulous bowl of noodles. This will become a staple place for me! Braised beef noodle soup: 10/10
