It was good and I enjoyed my meal but it was a bit expensive then I thought it would be and being compared to other places. I would maybe go again but I also didn’t enjoy the fact how I had to have at least 400g of the hotpot cause I was fine with 250-300 g. The food is tasty but the service wasn’t that good either cause you just had to walk to the counter to ask for something instead of them coming to you they were still friendly though. I liked the atmosphere and the cute yellow chairs. It was nice they put slow music on but it was too loud.

Came in with a friend for dinner last year and forgot to write up a review. We picked a couple of things from the self serve and got the cook to stir fry all of them in spicy sauce. Was pretty good and an interesting experience trying all your favourite foods all in one pot fried together.

Quick and cheap, especially if you order from the set items rather than construct your own dish. Spicy chicken doesn't disappoint, nor does the egg plant dish. Cumin lamb is often bit clumsy - grizzly and not well seasoned. Takeaways available.

I went in here to have "Mala Xiang Guo" for the first time, and I really rated this place! Tucked away in Durham St, the stairs that lead down to this place is in between BBQ King and Kushi. This place lets you create your own dish using the ingredients you pick and you are charged based on the weight. I have been told that the minimum weight is 400g. I paid a bit more than $15 for 433 grams. I picked the vermicelli noodles, beef for my meat (you can mix and match but I thought I’d keep it simple for my first time), bok choy, spinach, lotus, mushrooms, potatoes, fish balls, rice cakes etc. All the ingredients are in a chilled area(but unfortunately they are left uncovered. I asked for the “dry pot” and medium spicy (spiced with mala so it will make your tongue feel numb). My pot of delicious spicy stir fry was cooked and served to me!

Filling but not from the dumpling content- Not much shrimp, egg, chive fillings, abit on the doughy side-Could do with more shrimp. Helpful staff showed me around to where I can get cutlery & soy sauce. Hard to find the right one as it’s not in English. Bargain $12 for 20 dumplings.

Delivery food is very bad. 20 dollars meal (braised pork belly )only serve about half potion. <br/>Taste very average. I would never go there again or order from them EVER!<br/>

Horrible food! We ordered as a delivery from GoGo App. We spent over $50 and the amount we got was so little and taste disgusting. I could buy a better meal from a casual takeaway without spending this much! Never going there again

Would never go there again. Bad service, disappointed food, longest waiting time. Don't know how this place survive. <br/>The food there was disgusting, even a kid cook better than them. I waited more than 40mins to get the food which even worse than instant noodle.
