JJ’s Espresso is my morning stop for a soy latte on the way to work and I’ve recently fallen in love with their chicken mushroom pies which they make on-site.
The staff is friendly and most warmly engaging and it was a well anticipated treat when returning to the office in Level 1 to enjoy their coffee again and see the awesome team.
Their chicken avocado club sandwiches are delicious as well as the cranberry loaf! Highly recommended!

Great food at a great price. I will be back many times and make this my local breakfast place.
$14 bucks for a vegetarian Benedict.
Wish I could have taken a photo to show you but I ate it too fast.
Don't let the quaint place fool you. It's good.

Made to order fresh sandwich was perfect. Fresh ingredients cooked to perfection - onions were not soggy but sautéed just right. Coffee also excellent with rapid, polite service.

This is a good little cafe in Rialto food court. The service is great and the food is OK too. Nothing spectacular but they are often open a little later than most cafe's so perfect if you are desperate for coffee

Ordered the Brioche French Toast and Mocha. So delicious, could've had another place, perfect crispiness on the crust. Great to find somewhere that serves a lovely coffee.

Bought 3 smoothies, strawberry, apple & fejoa, green detox. We waited 30 minutes just to get our drinks. What was more unfortunate was that after we took one sip, we threw it away. Worst smoothies I have ever tried in my life. I wasted my $20.9 so hopefully no one else does too.

Real fruit ice cream perfect for a sunny day. I was expecting ice cream with artificial flavours but the ice cream still had bits of berries. Great flavour and texture. Highly recommended!

Went here for a quick bite recently. The cafe is located on the second floor of the Rialto center, on the edge of the food court. The slices in the food cabinet was tempting and well presented although the front area was slightly cramped. Service was efficient, however, the real fruit ice cream tasted artificial and too sweet for my taste.

Ordered a iced Americano during a hot day. Got charged $6 just because it's with ice. Hot ones are only $3.5. I don't see why I should be paying $2.5 just for the ice. Not going back again.

Real fruit frozen yoghurt was a good choice today.<br/>Blueberries tasted fresh and the yoghurt was creamy. Wafer cone was also nice and crunchy. Would definitely go back to try the real fruit ice cream!

If you're after a quick bite or coffee before hitting the cinema. As JJ Espresso is conveniently located at the Rialto Cinema food court. Good service and staff but limited food options in the cabinet. Few pasties and slices but more "coffee on the go". I enjoyed my soy moccacino though....☕. Perhaps I would try their soup next time....

Great place for a hearty breakfast in Newmarket Auckland. I love their pumpkin cream soup too. Conveniently located in Rialto Food Court - JJ Espresso is a nice place for "value-for-money" food

#dailyspecial with a medium latte cost only 11.90...nice coffee, great choice of bread, brilliant cooked eggs,however, mushroom is a little bit too oily...overall, 4/5 acceptable

JJ's have just swapped their coffee supplier to Allpress. For regulars they have a special black card which allows you to buy at a discounted rate of $3.00 for a flat white or Latte etc ($3.50 for a non-reg). The food is reasonably priced and is one of the few places in Newmarket that still sell the traditional kiwi pie at an affordable $4.00. The staff are quite friendly and switched on. They have the best location in the Rialto food hall and have a steady flow of patrons each morning. There is a lot of local competition nearby and plenty of swankier places but value for money is good.

Great service and great food. My partner and I have been here a few times, good coffee, very hard to pick from the all day breakfast meals. Had a pumpkin soup with toast one cold morning, I don't usually choose soup , the thought of not liking it scares me but I really enjoyed it, was really good! Prices are pretty reasonable for a filling meal 😊
