Review Shivani - Mt Roskill - Auckland Central

I had the pleasure of visiting Shivani Sweet Shop recently and was thoroughly impressed. Shivani's Mithai thaals were not only visually stunning but also a treat for the taste buds. Suresh, the employee behind the scenes, did a fantastic job in their preparation. The customer service was notably excellent. I wholeheartedly recommend Shivani Sweet Shop for their delicious offerings and outstanding service. Thanks to Suresh for helping and arranging, and for the commendable customer service.

I recently experienced exceptional customer service at a restaurant, thanks to Suresh. His attentiveness and friendly demeanor made the dining experience truly enjoyable. Additionally, the food was exquisite, reflecting the high standards of the establishment. Suresh's dedication to ensuring customer satisfaction added a personal touch, making it a memorable visit. Highly recommend!

I ordered food from Shivani for our office Diwali lunch and the whole process was seamless. The food was tasty and everyone loved it, great for corporates! Most of all working with Abhinav (at Shivani) was seamless and service was prompt. There were no delays with delivery and the packaging was great - nothing leaked and the food was fresh. No complaints and I will be using Shivani for all of our Diwali corporate events going forward.

A good north Indian food stop. Nice ambience and good quality service. Price also affordable. A good spot for satisfying your north Indian foods. Limited parking but you can get enough parking on the side roads very close to the shop.

It was a good service provided by Kirti.. the Rajkachori was yumm. My husband and I loved it. I was craving for it and she did a good job. Thanks Kirti 🥰

Great to see the team on Diwali night. Thank you so much for accomodating our late night food request. We had a nice time. Our special THANKS to BHUMIKA ☺️😊for clicking us some great shots, on our request. Certainly a good memory. Thank you for always carrying that positive aura and wearing that great smile. YOU are AWESOME.

My first time at Shivani was an enjoyable eating experience, a friendly lady at the ordering counter steered me in the direction of a Masala Dosa, after I asked for something not spicy. The Masala Dosa came with two sauces, coconut, and tomato, and a dipping soup, it was delicious, I will be back 🙂 Update: back for a Rosana Thali, wow so delicious, pics attached 🙂

Delicious, Authentic testy Indian Food. We visited a group of 72 people from USA. Very good services and nice atmosphere and a great food selection.

Hi there. We hadn't exceptional service yesterday from the entire staff at this restaurant. It was super busy yet the food tasted great and there is a smile on each member. Keep up customer service. Highly recommended. Thank you.
Kuhananthi Gunarathinarajah
The food was excellent 👌 but we had to sit for a long time get served. We went with 2 kids. They were very hungry. At last we have to go and ask them for the food. They should have served the starters which we ordered. When we asked they said they were waiting to serve everything together. Please consider to serve customers who come with the kids.

Our experience has been great every time. The staff specially Mr. Ram Singh is always warm and friendly. Food is delicious and good value for money!

I have visited Shivani heeps of time I think that day by day the taste in their food is decreasing .

Sunday Morning Breakfast experience for me was horrible. The punjabi guy just came to work straight from bed. No greetings. I had to wait for my single order for 45 minutes. The staff doesn’t care at all. It was not only me but a family of four were waiting for their food. The staff have a courtesy to say where the cutlery is. The worst customer services I have experienced in New Zealand. There was no option for 0 ratings otherwise I would have gone for a Big Zero!

Very bad experience. Had come in for some south indian breakfast. Ordered idly sambar. The idly was rock hard. Pretty evident that we were served an old batch that was just microwaved. The chutneys were so cold as if they were served directly from the refrigerator. On top of that the service was very disappointing as well. It was ages before a person came to take our order. The sambar was the only saving grace. It did taste very nice. But disappointed with the overall experience.

Food is really tasty and value for money.

Shivani and her team catered for both my daughter's First Holy Communion celebration and they did an excellent job. Delicious food and great service. Highly recommend.

Quite disappointed with the service, placed a takeaway order on phone at 10:11am for rava dosa and reached the store by 10:45am to collect my order. They billed for my order as soon as I arrived and Made me wait for another 15 mins. After which the restaurant employee says the dosa was messed up and can you wait for another 15-20 mins. This is crazy, I haven’t waited for a dosa to be served for more than a hour all my life. Just not to be rude, when I was at the restaurant there was no one else waiting for the order. It’s ridiculous how they can take so long to server when there is only one order. Finally received my dosa at 11:23am with not even an apology for making me wait so long!! I don’t want to blame the restaurant all I’m concern is at least an apology in the end for making me wait or a kind tone would have been better. Worst hospitality ever!! Top of it food is cold, I Donno how is that possible waiting for an hour.

About the dosa:

It was cold, the batter was not fermented properly but still eatable. I can never convince my mind for the chutney that came along with the dosa. Looking at the serving container I wondered why is the portion that small. They served white chutney and tomato chutney both tasted like feet!!🤮 the white chutney was more like lassi and the tomato chutney was like tomato sauce!! Overall ordering food with Shivani ruined my Saturday morning, never will come again.

But will recommend others for them to witness worst hospitality and for unforgettable overall experience what the restaurant gives you.

Staff was rude. Asked for papaddums and was refused very rudely. Could've politely turned down
Aditya Atitkar
The curry and naan are normally good. But the quality of south Indian food is very inconsistent..The onion uttappam I tried this time was not upto the mark and the chutneys and sambhar were tasting good.
Bhupendra Kenia
I have been here twice. One was a buffet breakfast which was good considering the price 15$. The other one for a chat craving. I had a Papdi chat which was average. The service is quite poor as the person st the reception is dull and not at all helpful.
Harneet Kaur
Ordered Masala Dosa - sambar tasted like tomato soup. Potatoes masala was not fresh.
When tried to give my feedback - response was rude and unacceptable.

I used to like this place and was going there for past few years.
This is my second bad experience within last two months.

Seems like they have stopped valuing customers.

Kartik Sharma
We had the amritsari thali, kachori chat and the paneer cutlet.
The thali was good, we liked the curries provided with the thali. We weren't fond of the kachori chat, it was a little soggy and the chutneys tasted like they had gone bad.
The paneer cutlet was okay too. Overall the experience was okay and they definitely need to work on their service, not too many people at the counter.

Been going to Shivani ever since they opened. This place is average if you're looking for chaat food .

The actual ambiance is nice but the food is average . It's a good idea that they have those weekly specials, especially for people who are looking at spending less than $10 for lunch and are on a limited budget.

Would honestly rate the pani-puri 2/5
And the samosa chaat a good 4/5
The paper dosa is also not too bad from here.
Would give it a 3.5/5

Will give them credit on having one of the cleanest and nicest Indian restaurant toilets in Auckland without a doubt. But they need more staff behind the counter.

The up-keep is good because of the personal attention paid by it's owner Mrs.Shivani.

It is still my go to place for cheap and decent indian chaat food. They will need to improve their service overall, now that Sarvana Bhavan is the top veg restaurant in town.

Atmosphere: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Food: ⭐️⭐️⭐
Service: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Price : ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
_foodfanatic
Had been here when it first opened. Decided to go again since it’s been quiet some time since the opening . The food was average. The thali was ok and the idly was dry and rubbery. Was not soft. The thosai was nice and the masala tea was very nice a bit sweet. Overall it’s worth a try nothing over the top.
Grace Singh
Ordered a samosa chaat, butter paneer and naan through ubereats today. There was multiple hairs in the samosa chaat! Disappointing and disgusting 🤮
Harneet Singh
Its a good restaurant for vegetarians. I have been here quite a few times but last time, yesterday it was a bit disappointing. A part of my ordered included Kachori and Pyaaz Kachori which was for $1.50 on the menu for which I was charged $2 each. Upon asking, the CSR girl was like our prices have increased and we are waiting for new menus from past 2 weeks (which doesn’t really makes sense as to get new menues). At the end, she went “Anything Else ?” which seemed to be a bit rude. Its not about being charged $1 extra, but about ethical practices by the business.
Prasad Pradhan
Great masala dosa and vada sambar. Good service even on a Saturday when it was full. Polite staff. Definitely will go back. Thanks for the good food. A+

To be fair, we ordered our food in advance over the phone (30 minutes) and were promised to have the food ready when we got there. The food was ready, and piping hot! Yummy food!

This business however lacks customer service - starting with the owner. I have not seen someone so snobby so far ( no offence) maybe a smile would not harm your business.

Remaining staff was very perky, and happy!
Ambiance of the business is quite dark for the daytime, and very bright for the evenings! Lovely venue!

Please do work on your smiles people!
The Food Lover
lovely pure vegetarian restaurant. Perfect place to go with elders in family. The chaat items are amazing, however idlli wasnt that great. overall would rate them 4 for the ambiance and tasty snacks
FoodieAKL
The 1* for the terrible customer service. The ones at the counter don't even bother about the customers waiting for a long time to place the order. You literally have to make your presence felt out loud to get your order. The food also takes a very long time to get prepared.
Vidyadhar Shalivahan
Standards have improved a lot since they started.Excellent customer service with all staff being ver friendly
We are regulars now and pricing is well placed 👍

Just tried the weekend buffet here. They had a dark, tamarind-looking rice labelled as lemon rice. It took 15 minutes for them to even clarify it was mis-labelled. And they didn't even move to change the label after I had pointed it out. The coffee pot had tea inside, though it was labelled coffee. Not some place I would visit soon.
Cyran Castelino
The service is awfully slow, I'm currently standing in line for the last 20 minutes and there is just 1 person serving, you would think at 5pm in the evening there wouldnt be much of a wait boy was I wrong. Then go to order the gujju thali which clearly states tawa roti 5pc to then be told it only comes with 1 piece, what?! Sort your stuff out Shivani you service needs to be faster. This is not the only time it's been this slow.
Suraj Asha Barnawal
Great Ambience, reminds me of India. Was suprised to see the options and variations in food, loved the Amristar thali, enough for 2 and amazing taste. Sure i will visit there again and can happily say this has been the best Vegetarian restaurant i have been in Auckland till date.
Sheenaali958
This is the third time we have placed phone orders and they don’t seem to understand that people are in hurry to collect pay and be out of there but after 30 mins we went to pick up our order it’s not ready 🙄 seriously common guys get it together!!!

Food taste has gone downhill overtime. Customer service can be improved. I am a spicy food eater. Ordered manchow soup once. It was extremely spicy, I inquired about this & I was told that its mild. lol

It’s food is really tasteless .Never visit again. I ordered shahi paneer which is ever worst shahi paneer i tasted in my life.
1 star out of 5
Kitty005
It's a great menu catering both South Indian and North Indian dishes. We had the breakfast buffet and some of the dishes are well made like those small don't shaped vada, upma.,Dosa, puri and idly were all delicious. The chutney, aloo gravy were not up to the mark though. But it's a great spread for those homesick days when you feel like having authentic dishes from India.
Nicole Havea
Only come here for aloo mattar which is real decent! 4 stars because they always make it for me even though it’s not on the menu! 😋 only downside would be the ambience! Tables aren’t cleared for awhile and I always have dirty water 🤦🏽‍♀️ other than that! Aloo mattar is on point 👐🏽

I took my family on Saturday night to Shivani restaurant at domi nion road, Auckland. After reading about the restaurant we were verykeen to taste the food at Shivani. but we were very disappointed with the food. We had masala dosa which was tasty, but iDli vada were very bad and trasteless. The maharaja thali was the worstr. Thge thali didn't have many good items as per our expectation and all items were highly priced.s We'll ne3ver visit Shivani ever again. All the praise about the place was false and I wouldn't recommennd the restaurant to any of my friends and contacts. It was a big disappointment.
Narayan & family.
BharatE
Taste wasn't that great and had to wait for 40 mins on a Monday to get the food. It was a rip off with their extremely over priced menu for the taste what they served.
Kanika
Been here in the weekend, the food was not that great but the service was worse had to wait for food atleast 30 minutes and was not worth the wait either.
Satya Sandeep Sistla
excellent food specially their cholle bhature and their masala dosa is a must try. Loved the ambience and thumps up to service and such a friendly staff.

This is my first ever review for the worst ever restaurant.
I really dont understand how their website claims quality. [--]
By far this is the most disgusting food we ever had. The owner is all about making money and insulting the great indian food. I bet on one ever eats more than once in this place. The poor tourists are ripped with their extremely over priced menu and annoyingly late service for the sick food.
I'm afraid that the frist timers will be scared to touch indian food again. There has to be an action against such restaurants.
I learnt a lesson today to write reviews and help other travelers from such bad experiences.
Alok Krishnamurthy Pattar
The worst south indian breakfast i had in my life is here at shivani. expensive buffet- 13$. But the quality and taste not even of a dollar value.

vada taste was sour looks like the batter might be old. coconut chutney was smelly. tastless lemon rice and its a long list.

advise not to spend money on this south indian breakfast buffet.

I am not sure about north india dishes.. try ur luck

cheers
Food For Soul
ordered manchow soup today. The 1st time had this soup at shivani was a year back and it's was amazing but today the soup is really not good. The veggies used in it isn't fresh and the standard has really gone down.

fyi please don't add peas and broccoli to manchow soup. Anyhow I will never order manchow soup from here.
Mizna Afzali
We tried the sunday buffet and its a complete spoiler. A big NO, not going ever again for the buffet. From idli, wada, dosa, upma, lemon rice, aloo saag puri, sambar, chutney, dessert to chai, everything tasted just bad.
Mandeep Singh
Great Service and amazing food served, went with my friends and get fascinated by all the dishes they presented especially veg Manchurian, masala dosa and chole bathure. Though the restaurant was to busy still got delicious and perfectly cooked food, Would love to go there again......Keep up the good work
👍👍👍

This is a solid choice for a vegetarian North-Indian cuisine restaurant but owing to the bizarre behaviour of Indian-cuisine-liking folks in the area, it does not have as many customers as it should. I've liked most of the Punjabi-style food here. Paneer butter masala had excellent taste, and similarly bracing flavours are found in 'mushroom matar' which has juicy flavourful mushroooms. The naans and rotis here are good, including the stuffed ones like onion and potato naan. Daal Makhani is also robust, though they could cut out the kidney beans. They have deals like a $ 13 South Indian buffet at brunch-time on weekends (table-delivered masala dosa, while other items like vada and upma are at the buffet station) - it may not have the greatest of taste but I'd still go for it again. On the whole, South Indian fare fares less well here - their Masala Dosa is an impressive two feet long, but as MD chefs and connoisseurs will tell you, the best masala dosas are compact because of quality control considerations. You can also find a decent collection of Indian sweets at the counter. Service staff are less, but that's not an excuse not to correct the habit of uncleared plates of food sitting around. Their restroom is better than that of most other Indian restaurants, with an automatic room freshener , wall-to-wall tiling, motion-activated tap at the wash basin and a machine for blow-drying hands.
S&G Take Auckland
This place is average if you're looking for chaat food .

The actual ambiance is nice but the food is average . My Dosa was super soft with way too much potato stuffing. The Idli was also far too dense.

Pain Puri was probably the highlight

I will give them credit on having one of the cleanest and nicest Indian restaurant toilets in Auckland

Ordered food from Shivani for my company Diwali function. Honestly the best choice we could have made! The food was delicious and the service was extremely fast. Would definitely recommend!

Very unfriendly staff

Food was not fresh. Did not like want to give 0 rate but 0 option is not available. Many items in menu but not good...
Pavan Patel
We ordered two curry and taste was too good. Very Good Food loved it. Must try kadai paneer and palak paneer. Good service in takeaway as well. Good going keep this taste up.
Ciara
Very bad. do not bother going here and wasting your money. Service terrible, extremely unfriendly. Very quiet in the restaurant with only two other diners yet dirty plates and cutlery over almost every table in the restaurant. staff just milling about doing nothing. also, the power box in the corner had an alarm going off which was really annoying! i asked the staff if they could turn it off and they said no they can’t get it to turn off?? overheard another customer say “what’s that alarm??” food totally average. no love or care. if you want some amazing vegetarian food go to Saattveek just down the road it’s 100x better.
Mrinal Mehra
Good Indian food. Had kulcha chane. It was crispy. Also had butter panneer masala. That was also good. The prices are reasonable as well. Have been here for South Indian buffet as well on weekends which was also very good.

Very good food . Staff is very friendly .nice place to go out with family. Saag te makke de rotti is tasty . Feel like home made . We will try again it . Very soon .

If you are a vegetarian and looking for some good Indian food that's not going to give you a bad stomach the next day then this is definitely a good place to try.
Service 3/5
Food 4/5
Ambience 3/5
Went to Shivani after a year thought there might be changes but unfortunately no difference.

Service - Bad Had to wait for 20 minutes for plain rice and naan. Dishes were dirty. Need more staff. small space
Food - below average

*** Not recommended ****
Vik Singh
Deco average .. space not much.. Service is below average ... no matter what u order its going to take time .... hard to get a smile out of any staff member... over all not a good experience .. not recommended, there are better places to eat in the area .
Darshit Pandya
Service was OK. Told 2 times to staff for turning on heater but they didn't turn on and didn't reply even. Services wise really poor. Nor reckon

Well finally I made a choice to try this Indian restaurant.
1. Service-quiet slow
2. Taste-above average
3. Ambience-average
4. Quantity- less

Divya Nagappan
The food is definitely very affordable. Staff were okay. And the food took ages to come out but was of good quality. Tables were kinda icky but not a bad experience overall.

good ambience and seating for family dinner. variety, taste and prices are good. no complaints. even found the indian paan . will go again and recommend friends.
Awesome Indian sweets and food. 100% recommended. Should try once. Superb taste of sweets with quality. Friendly staff at the counter. All over experience very good.

Great food in reasonable price.

I went there with my friends to experience the real taste of india which i heard from other friends, before coming here i was reading the comments and was telling my friends that we should go to some other place as alot was written bad about the restaurant.

But after having the food i suggest people who were giving bad comments, GET A LIFE . If you find this bad food , seriously you should get a tongue check up.

Great food , excellent service ,even though it was so busy still we didnt had to wait to long. 2 of my friends had north indian buffet , that was mouth watering i tastes a bit .

I had masala dosa and i think 1 of the best inhad in times.

Great work guys , see you soon with some other friends😜..
Sam
Very good service and food, recommended by friend and I guess he was right,Had kadai paneer and naan. Keep up the good work guys.was gud service as compared to other restaurants in auckland...

Me and friends visited on Saturday (29/04/17) night to try the buffet, the paneer tikka masala was all orange and very sweet, the mix dal was way too hot( even for my south friend), the mix veggie was taste less and hot. And also the struggle with Naan continues, they just don't have enough, have to wait for minimum of 30 minutes to have a piece. We have eaten in Shivani many times and we are very disappointed with the low quality food being served in recently. Please improve.
Sumani Sharma
Excellent food at very reasonable prices, brilliant customer service..we ordered masala dosage, chole bhature, pani puri everything was mouth watering and our entire group enjoyed every bit of it..I highly recommend shivani's .. celebrated my son's birthday and was completely satisfied with the food and their service .. check out their amazing everyday specials
Ankur Mishra
First impression is not good, they misplaced our takeout order and we waited for solid one hour. They tried to make it up with complimentary drinks. But, and that's a big one, it made hardly any difference as the food was uneatable if you truly love Indian food. It is hardly comparable to some of the best Indian restaurants in Auckland, with comparable prices. Would not recommend to any friend, enemies.. sure.
Mary
Ordered for Sev Puri and Samosas got them after almost 20mts paid $9.50 for a disgusting sev puri I ever had and the Samosa batter was not even cooked fully it was as if I was eating kneaded flour.
Austindavis17
Came here with group of workmates as they are saying the vege dishes here are good tasting. I ordered Samosa chaat and Chole bathure, to be honest I was quite impressed with the taste and quality of food. Presentation is average while I have to agree with what other's here, saying about the long wait time which is like 30-40mins. Their buffet is a no-no for me, and looks to me like the buffet was just put there just to have buffet. I suggest to go for ala carte if quality is what you are after. Wide selection of sweets by the way which is a plus.
Satwinder Kaur
What a good example of bad management, though the food was good, but the waiting time was ridiculous.
If someone wants to waste their time, then its a best place to go...
Abdul Wahid Awan
Dining is usually great but last night I decided to order Pani poori but takeaway. By the time I got home the aloo & peas were inside a thin paper bag and they made the bag soggy and it ripped. Please train your staff to use proper packing containers (I don't mind paying extra for this) thanks

We have been here 2 to 3 times for the Sunday buffet. Although the food is pretty OK the service never starts on time. 11 am buffet only starts at 11.30 and I ordered from the menu a Masala dosa which I was told would take only 5 mins but took 20 minutes! The food wasn't great.. I'm sure they can do better at both service and food.

My husband and I come to Shivani quite regularly and we love it! My favorite things are fresh puris, generous quantities, fresh and new dishes, and a good vibe.

We often order different chats like Raj Kachori, Bhel puri, Pani puri and have never been disappointed. Puris are crispy and fresh, yogurt isn't too diluted, chutneys are also fresh and full of flavor. Chats are never bland, and are quite spicy (I eat spicy food a lot). Quantities for chats are also very generous. Must mention that Bhel puri tastes just like at the bazar in Garhwal (Uttarakhand, North India), so It was a pleasant surprise.

We've also tried buffet a few times and loved it as well, especially the South Indian one. Once again, food was fresh, nicely spiced and salted. I loved trying for the first time dishes like a chilly stir fried idlis! Also sambar was really good, had many veges in it and good spices. Also appreciated that a halwa didn't have a crazy orange color (that's a food coloring), it was of a nice natural color and very sweet - just what you want after a spicy meal.

I also personally love the interior at Shivani - beautiful decor, feels like you at a wedding or a Diwali festival. Music is good as well, not too laud and suitable for a restaurant.

Staff also has always been attentive too us. At times you have to wait for a dosa when ordering the buffet, but it is absolutely expected and normal, all over the places have the same, especially when there are many people.

Tasty 😋 experience loved food! Very friendly staff although did take a lite bit of a wait to get food but worth it. Nice ambience as well. 😊

Lot of RADIO Advertisements Regarding your RESTAURANT about the quality of good food and service, But sorry to state that the quality of your Aloo paratha and Paneer paratha is JUST RUBBISH yes JuSt RuBbIsH 'coz we really had a hard time to find which one is Aloo paratha and which one is Paneer paratha as the stuffing was not even there only for the name sake they were called Aloo and Paneer parathas. ROTTEN parathas were served to us only after reaching home we saw them and WOW what to say about the Pickle which was also given, the quantity was soooooooooooo much----- Just a small piece yes as if giving to a small kid. In fact DHABHAS in INDIA can cook well then Your Chef the same one. It is not the matter of the price you can charge more than this but please serve good food.
Kishanbhakta123456
Worst experience in my life.
I went to eat Pani puri at Shivani restaurant with my friend. And I ordered 6 plates of pani puri worth 30$.
Firstly, the quantity of chanas they gave for filling in pani puri was disgusting, you can even count the chana they gave, you can't fill more than two puris from them. So when I asked for some more fillings, they asked me for extra 1.50$ for it and even after paying for extras they gave same beggarly quantity, what a shame of miserliness.

Secondly, there was stone in pani puri, which shook my teeth and it's still paining while eating, and definitely I'll have to go to dentist for that.

Such a disgusting experience in my life. I can't go there for next time. And I will never suggest my anyone for such a miserable restaurant.
Shivani Gupta
I been here many times and loved the navratre special and also other food like chole bhature and chats..these food were good...
the reason for giving 3.5 is because of staff only
Have to wait a lot to see if somebody is interested in serving or not ???
we visited today at shivani dominion road.. mount roskill.. enjoyed the buffet.. luvly food n best service ever recieved .. fablous staff and very friendly. luking forward to eat more..back soooonnnn...
Tasty experience
I had the mixed uttapam which was made fresh so it took a little while. Served with the usual chutneys and sambar. Very tasty and I did enjoy it very much. I also had a Chaat Samosa and it was very good as well. My partner had Palak Paneer and also liked it very much.
Friendly waitress despite being very busy.
Recommended!

Yesterday on new year we had a great costumer service from Shivani's staff especially boy with the spikes long hair and i and my friends enjoy a great food and fantastic curry.
Thanks to all staff , chiefs and happy

Today i and my friend booked table for 6 ppl.Food was really good and nice service. Restaurant was neat and clean we will back again soon....

Been there with my friends and family. We ordered around 12 to 13 dishes and everything was salty. Faluda was worst
It was served in plate with melted ice and some soaked vermicelli. Wouldnt go there again for anything. Worst restaurant in Auckland.
Aabhas Dole
Went here with friends and family to try out their buffet options.

The place looks fancy from outside and inside as it looks like they've put in a lot of efforts with the overall designs etc.

We thought that the North Indian cuisine that is available here tastes amazing.

Pav Bhajis, Dosa's, Idli's etc taste below average and hence I would suggest sticking to the curries & naan's if you go here.

I may go back for the thali's but certainly not for anything else.
Aakanksha Sharma
Pathetic service... I would strongly not recommend in case you are really hungry and looking for a quick option... only good if u have heeps of time to pass on...
Sakshi Wadhwa
When they had just opened the restaurant had a charm and the chaat and raj kachori's were to die for. They have some great offers now on food but the quality is a little dicey.

We went to Shivani two days back for lunch.we ordered chart, dosa, naan and few curries.the food was really delicious.the restaurant was not only clean but beautifully decorated. I didn't have the food like this before in New Zealand.i would strongly recommend this to everyone.thank you Shivani for the mouthwatering food you cook.

Amazing food, atmosphere and hosts. I have eaten a range of items- from chaat, to north and south indian; and indo-chinese. Every single item has been so tasty and the team at Shivani's are consistently good. Every time I visit the standard of service and food is nothing short of spectacular.
Subbu
Went twice to this place. Tried chaat and south indian brunch buffet. Unfortunately, for the last couple of years I couldn't find a place in Auckland which serves good south indian food. When I tried Shivani I really liked their brunch buffet which is available every weekend starting 11:00 AM until 3 PM for a very reasonable 12.99$ price and the spread has many items.

Chaat items were good too, tried Chole Bhature and Pani Puri. Worth a visit.

Newish at 1 year old in Mt. Roskill. Quite a pleasant and welcoming vegetarian restaurant with clean, modern vibes. Went here with work mates which included some who are passionate about their meat! We mainly ordered chaat and it was all delicious! Generous portion sizes and the service was swift and courteous. Everyone left happy and too full for their own good!

Great service n nice food. Been few times always had good experience. Tasty food and very very reasonable price. Full value of money. Keep it up

Stopped for a quick lunch and ordered Idli sambhar. The food was mouth wateringly delicious and fresh. Idli was very soft and chutney was flavoursome. Will definitely go back for more!

Not a recommended place.
For starters, the food is not at all good, I had ordered for a Maharaja thali, which included a naan, which i received with a hole in it. It was over cooked as well. There was a paneer makhni in the thali for which the paneer was cold but the gravy was hot. There was a Veg Manchurian which was too sweet in taste with extra soy sauce.
The Maharaja thali also includes a Idli which is supposed to be soft unfortunately the idli which I got was literally like a RUBBER.
I request the management to please look into the matter.

And since I shouldn't be all negative and judgemental, the place has a really good ambience, the staff is good and helpful.

Such a nice place to eat.
Lovely environment and good food.
On tops, a lot of different variety of indian food to choose from.
Nice staff. Would recommend to friends.

Best food ,professional service must try .shivani owner is really caring and provide personal care and attention . I like paneer dosa 👍and all South Indian dishes .very clean as well

Went for first time last night - was very pleasantly surprised - very authentic curries and knocks spots off the competition - highly recommended 😀

Awesome food. The food is authentic North Indian. If any one wants to experience the real taste then this is the place to be. It's clean and service is great.

yesterday me and my family went to shivani restaurants mt roskill branch first time we tried their north indian buffet, the food was really awsom,. before goig to the restaurant I called the manager of the restaurant that your reviews are not good but he promise me that we will enjoy the food and service there. and he was right. we really enjoyed the food and the service in the restaurant. taste really matters I believe that those who giving the bad reviews on the zomato about the shivani they are the competitors who are jealous of them. thanks
GAtri
This restaurant should change name from Shivani taste matter to Shivani taste doesn't matter. Most terrible food I have ever had. Food was bland and tasteless. Had North Indian buffet, mix pakodas were finished, worst Manchurian ever, rajma was boiled and not cooked properly and paneer gravy had no taste. Above all who puts bread in custard, it was more bread less custard. I would not recommend anyone to go here please.

FOR SHIVANI TASTE DOES NOT MATTERS
JUST HAD BUFFET AND IT WAS SHIT!!!!!
POOR SERVICE
TOILETS NOT WORKING
SMELLY FOOD
SHIVANI IS LUCKY ZOMATO DOES NOT HAVE ZERO RATING😀

This is our go-to place, we love eating at Shivani and specially enjoy their buffet and sweets. The food is great, the place is neat, the ambiance is lovely and warm and the staff is so courteous.. Double thumbs up!! A special mention for their Naan..!! It is much better than many other Indian places in NZ!!!

This is a pure vegetarian restaurant. However was really disappointed with the palak paneer which had no salt and only tasted like raw blended spinach. Also the chow mein was soggy and soooo salty.

On the other hand, the only good thing was my $5 lunch special which wasn't too bad and the $1 samosas. It was also difficult because many of their set specials cannot be takeaways or wasn't ready even though way past lunch time. Will probably only go back for their $5 deal.
Bhaona Gosai
Food was good.however, staff were not helpful at all. We asked our tables to be cleaned as they were dirty and had rubbish on top of them but no one cared.i ended up cleaning the tables myself. Not going back anymore.

I had not received comprehensive menu suggestions at a vegetarian Indian restaurant to cater to my dietary needs quite like I received at Shivani, Mt Roskill. The service was good, but the food was sensational! Recommend to anyone who loves vegetarian Indian cuisine, especially Kiwis who can't handle spice. Really impressed with the manager Deepak and waiter Virender. Looking forward to dining here again. ☺
Amitabha Bhattacharyya
We went there on a wet and miserable day but came out refreshed. We opted for the South Indian buffet. The food was excellent along with masala chai but above all the service rendered by Deepak and Happy were superb. The service had a homely touch.Looking forward to the North Indian buffet.
Benny
Had lunch with family awesome food. Excellent service by Deepak even though we were a pain in ordering but he was very calm and gentle and gave us all a excellent service
I'm Hungry
This review is purely based on the weekend south indian breakfast lunch buffet. I've been for this twice and I do recommend going here once, maybe just once. Food is good not excellent. South indian is not so authentic but won't complain as it's a good spread for brunch. It's a good combination of south and north indian. Dosa idling wada Sambhar chutney pulao halwa uttapam puri bhaji curd pickle. Ambience is good, service is ok. Buffet starts at 11 but nothing is ready before 11:30. It

Neat, clean and tidy. Friendly service. Their Mysore Masaja dosa is the best I have had in Auckland. I wanted a tabs dose - unfortunately that would have taken 30 minutes. We will definitely return .
Elakiya Suresh
I was here on 4/6/16 with Suresh Sukumarbabu. Food was very tasty but would have been better if it was hot. But I didn't like the idea of ordering at the counter beforehand which was annoying because the second time when we had to order more I had to wait in the queue and moreover I hope it's a restaurant not a food court.. plastic cups for water???? I didn't expect this at a good restaurant..
We visited this place on Wednesday, ambience of the restaurant was great, loved the environment , very nice and clean place. Service was very fast and staffs very friendly . We ordered chat and dosa ( came very quickly ) and it was out of the world , tasted like india's chat . Highly recommended and we will be back , thank you for great experience
Disha
Pretty neat place. It's in the heart of Mount Roskill and caters to all kind of hunger whether you are craving south or north indian or just want to stop by for any indian sweet or chaat( snack). Not a big fan of of their jalebi though, their Mysore masala dosa is outstanding. They also have buffets I am yet to try but their 2 parathas for $5 is a deal maker. I also love their samosas which are so pocket friendly.
Vijai Mahendra
The buffet dinner was fantastic especially the noodles. The customer service has also come a long way and there is genuine care now. Happily will visit again for this wonderful experience.

Me and my husband, after so much of thinking have decided to go with shivani restaurant for celebrating our son's 1st birthday and we made the right choice. .The food was authentic and service was excellent. Every single guest have appropriated that the food was delicious. Thank you shivani.
Murad Padania
Been to the Mount Roskill branch a couple of times, their cleanliness and service was top-notch, Paneer Chilly was great, also tried their Friday night North Indian Buffet with family and was very impressed with that too. Special mention (and thanks) for Shivani ji who was present and engaging with all clients and her staff who were smiling and serving food with love. Certainly a great place to eat and enjoy some quality family time. KEEP UP THE QUALITY AND SERVICE.... ALWAYS!!!

Unfortunately cant give minus stars. THIRD CLASS FOOD AND SERVICE. Please Dont waste your money. Never going back again. ONE OF THE WORST IN AUCKLAND.

After a long time, found such a good option for a vege food. Had a north indian buffet, Was good. Service was quite impressive (specially Divya's ), however, I would expect some improvement in food quality. Thanks

Ambience was good, spacious place, but taste of food did not seem great. Ambience was good, spacious place, but taste of food did not seem great.

Had a great evening out with eight friends who all thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The food was was really tasty and offered a large selection of dishes and for an incredibly good price. The atmosphere was great and the place clean....service was efficient and friendly.
Parking was easy. I highly recommend this restaurant.

A Great place for veg and we enjoyed a lot tonight..Divya did awesome job by her good service & smile ...👍

It's good place to go for all vegetarian.

We went for work team lunch and the food and service was amazing. My colleagues have since gone back and as a team we are going back there. Only downside I guess was a little bit of wait for our orders to arrive but that is understandable as we were there as a group. Thank you team Shivani :-)
Gerard Pinn
Tried the buffet dinner again, and this time the food was different, and I think better than the first.
This is a new vegetarian restaurant where everything is spotlessly clean, and the staff are all very friendly.
The food is interesting and delicious ! And you may eat something you have never tried before !
This is a great place to take a friend, it is not expensive, and I have already recommended Shi Vani to others.
Sharan Dhanala
We went for dinner buffet with friends. Expected it to be tasty but ended up eating unseasoned and cold food. On top of this they have to improve the service. A friend of mine ordered a pizza which took more than 30 mins. This is my second visit and I was expecting a better service but ended with the same service that I got the first time( which was pretty bad too). I would recommend you to hire more chefs and manage the orders more efficiently. Positives-pizza was tasty and the decorum was good.

Work lunch today....absolutely delicious totally vegetarian food..and thats from a meat eater!
I had the Maharajas thali....omg..yum...very clever to have such a variety of choice on one plate....and incredibly reasonable pricing throughout the huge menu.
Clean and fantastic environment....the decor is light and airy.
Our group had dropped from 20 people to 8...which probably was a goodthing in the end...our last meal took an incredibly long time to be served...and she was almost eating alone...that was my only issue.
Will definitely be going again....@TyMcWilliam @ShivikaSingh @DavidSoloman @JanineHatton

We had our lunch on a weekday here.We found this place very welcoming, fresh, clean and the food was great!
Ordered the Parathas and the Punjabi curries and it was great. Had some tea while we were there too.
Would certainly recommend.

We enjoyed the food a lot! Always looking for a 100% vegetarian place to go! Loved the food we ordered. Divya, one of the employees there, served us with the biggest smile. That just made our dinner even better!
It's our to go place for indian food! ♡
Fedora Fernandes
We organised a work dinner here and were slightly skeptical after reading the reviews. However, we had the north indian buffet and we were all very happy and impressed with the quality of the food and value for money. The variety was great and the ambience was clean and tidy. Will definitely be back!

What a waste of money !!!!
Horrible food . Onion dosa full of raw big chunks of onion not even sauted .Smelly red tomato & onion chutney .surprising displayed A food grade though serving smelly food .

Raj kachori was too hard in texture ,full of salt

I never write complaints like this but tonight was the last straw. I have been here a few times mainly because i live close and the food has been OK but tonight was just too far. The sweets were meant to be half price, but once i went to pay the guy said that because im only buying a few that he will charge $3. I only bought 5 pieces which is about 20-30grams so he charged me at approx $150 per kilo when it was meant to be $10 per kilo. Very angry about this! He was so rude as well. Then when i got home to eat the food, it turns out the naan bread was more of a cracker. Very disappointed in this and your customer service today. You cannot just decide to rip people off by that crazy amount and serve out flakey dry bread.I came back a few times but I think this will be the last time. If you're prepared for poor customer service and very average food for how much you need to pay then go for it :s Will Shivani say anything? I'm waiting!
Rahul M
Amazing food. Great service and even better ambience! Definitely going back with all of my friends! I am not sure how the overall is low but give this place a go before judging it! Thank you guys

My friend and I dropped an unplanned visit at Shivani because our intended restaurant was closed. She had the vege spring roll, I ordered the butter naan and we had a cheese pizza to share. Our waitress for the day was very friendly, she engaged with us and offered help if we needed any.

The place was rather big, though there were only two other tables that were occupied when we were present.

Food: 3/5 - We didn't really try the Indian food, but the three dishes we had definitely wasn't bad at all, but they weren't great either. They were edible, and I didn't feel any unpleasantness whatsoever. The cheese pizza was slightly spicy, but definitely very bearable - I actually enjoyed mine, I probably ate more than 1/2 of it.

Cleanliness: 3.5/5 - The place seems rather new and decorated presentably. I didn't find the furniture (table or chairs) to be cautious of; and I didn't have the opportunity or need to search for filth, as the place was rather big and nothing caught my eye when I had a brief look around.

Price Value: 4/5 - We were rather surprised at how reasonable the food was. In total, our meal costs about $20. Many dishes on the menu were around $10, we were expecting $12-$15, so it was definitely cheap eats.

Service: 4/5 - The waitress who seated us was friendly and helpful. She came to check on us shortly after our meals came, to ask us 'How's the food? :)' which is always good. However, I find that because ordering/cutlery are mainly self-service, that means service from them wasn't really 'required'.

Setting/atmosphere: 4/5 - The place was mostly empty, apart from one or two other tables occupied. Which was perfect for my friend, as she prefers a quieter atmosphere. They did switch on music when the second guest came, which we were kinda like 'agh why' but then they either stopped it, or the music faded out and didn't interrupt our conversation in any way. I felt like lighting plays a huge part in setting a good atmopshere, so I was glad that they had natural sunlight near our table. Also, I would say the place is well-furnished.

Overall: 3.5/5

Additional Comments- The condiments/cutlery requires self-service. The extra plate was dirty so I didn't take them, but the cutlery was decently clean.

When it comes to placing an order, don't bother calling the waiter; we had to go straight to the counter to order and pay, which can be both good and bad.

NOTE: This place only serves vegetarian dishes. The waitress informed us the moment we walked in, which was thoughtful of her.

This was not what I was expecting. The service was quite bad and they were rude. Prices were really high , quantity was not sufficient. food tasted average nothing amazing. Not happy with this restaurant. A rip of. Waste of money in my opinion. Would not recommend this place.
: (

Heard about this new place called Shivani who offered a lunch buffet. The items on the buffet were generous and reasonably priced. I was super excited initially. Some of the items were mediocre and the others were really bad. All the food was COLD. Lemon rice looked like jeera pulao-but I thought its ok maybe it tastes nice. There were these black whole peppercorns, the second I tasted them, I realised they were burnt chana dal that made the whole rice taste bitter. I don't know why the chef decided to save 20 cents of chana dal tempering to spoil an entire dish. The puris were cold and stale. We told the staff we wanted fresh puris right off the fryer that looked hot and fluffy. He cheekily took half a dozen of them from the buffet itself and decided to microwave them again. AGAIN, we told him, FRESH puris, probably he tried to save another 20 cents (chefs instructions) and to top it off, the minute we entered the restaurant we were instructed to PAY FIRST BEFORE EVEN SITTING DOWN while we were having a look at the buffet to see whats on offer. Just goes to show guaranteed income for the restaurant no matter how bad the food is. Another business that will nosedive in 6-9 months amongst many others. Looks like all the positive reviews for this place are written by the business owners family and friends themselves.

I went to Shivani's Restaurant last night and we really like the ambiance, food and services the manager and a girl (Divya) provided the best of their services.

If given a chance would love to visit again.

thanks guyz

Look the filling of kachori it has nothing in it . Sorry for negetive feedback but i am very disappointed.

Nice location
Been there twice...
paneer pakora is yummy.

Went this afternoon with my family and we all had the weekend buffet, the food was cold and the lemon rice the tempering was burnt, and the sambar super hot when asked. Very disappointed with the quality of the food.
Mankaran Singh
Even after reading the reviews, tried the breakfast buffet last Saturday... There was nothing south indian about what was being served. I presume it was prepared by a north indian chef who had no knack what authentic south indian food is all about.
Live2Eat
Pretty bad experience. Have been there quite a few times since its opened, but last two visits have been really bad from service and food pov.
We ordered four different items and they all came one by one at least 10 minutes apart. Although the mains were ok but the desserts were shocking. Ordered mal pua with rabri and faluda. The rabri was absent and faluda was not at all sweet. They were kind enough to replace it but to no betterment. We were a frequent visitors but would not come back unless hear some good reviews.

This place is newly built so its very clean. The staff are friendly and responsive. I ate some 'chat' food here which was one of the best I have had in Auckland so far. The quality and quantity both surpassed my expectations. Will be here again soon with my friends.
Mat
This review is purely based on the dessert. Indian sweets are always a guilty pleasure, so why not indulged on the good stuff such as Shivani Indian sweets?! This restaurant provides a variety of well known Indian sweets. My favourite has to be the gulab jamun. Definitely pop by to grab some as take away, you won't regret it.

I am actually surprised at myself that I am giving it this much time to give a review, anyhow it might help someone else decide. Bikanerwala guys have lost all their market share in Auckland because of the pathetic service, sad & BAASSI food. Shivani is just a new name with exactly the same experience as Bikanerwala. The place has recently been built, hence looks good, nothing against that. Inconsistent is the word, since some people might love them in one go and hate them in the next, for various reasons.
My experience: My family went for some food at 5 pm on a Thursday evening, for the record it was only us in the restaurant. We ordered 3 dishes and we waited 15 minutes and 1 dish came, another 5 minutes and another dish and my wife had to wait for her dish 30 minutes, when all of the others on the same table had already finished their food, she still was waiting for her Dosa. When it finally came, it was broken, burnt from outside and not cooked properly from inside. Food quality differs every time you visit. All in all, there is nothing special about them and I wont be surprised if the people who have given positive feedback now, will come back and give negative the next visit.
A great place for Veg food - we had Mushroom Korma and it is the best on I have in NZ- keep up the good job chef- the other curry Paneer Spinach curry was good and we asked for Roti which were cooked to perfection not burn marks on the roti👍👍👍😜👍

Well what can I say after having to eat aloo sabzi ( 85% watery) with bhatura because the choley we're extremely salty. I think we were just too considerate that we accepted sabzi as replacement because they didn't offer anything else but were a little rude. Anyways they told my husband that they threw all that salty choley but I saw all the customers getting served I think the same lot, well I don't know if there is a magic way to prepare choley in a couple of minutes otherwise. Then we ordered gobi Parantha and did not bother telling them that the bottom was raw. I think I am never going back. Terrible.

Been here a few times only because theit badam milk and kulfi rabri falooda are top notch. The first time i came here i was really impressed because their food quality was better than Bikanervala (another veg restaurant) and we were looking for a good veg place to start dining at. I ordered their masala dosa and vada sambhar which were both great! The second time i went there (maybe a week or so later) was really disappointing!! I ordered the same dosa- potatoes were dry with no flavor, just haldi and their vada sambhar which i enjoyed the most the previous time was just shocking- it wasn't even fully cooked! So mixed emotions about this place. Hopefully they stop cutting corners because it really affects the taste and overall experience for their customers!

We thought we'll give this a try after hearing much about it. A typical take away joint and a sweet mart; didn't appeal well for a sit in. We ordered north indian dishes for our takeaway - rajmah, paneer nasal, jeera aloo and dal makhani. It was well below average. It is a total a write off in our our list.
Nishtha Saini
Been here twice. Lovely place Great food. It is a self service joint so you treat yourself. Such elaborate menu that you need to visit again & again. Authentic Taste Matters
Vishal
Food Quality is below average, Service is worst..we waited for 45min for 1st dish to be served out 6 items we ordered. Staff are shouting out TABLE numbers like its Sabji Mandi or road side dhaba. I would request the owner to atlest by the table no stand and use it for customers rather than shouting out loud. I feel sorry for the staff who have to serve and face angry customers. Hopefully the owner read this feedbacks and try to change few things. Only the Interior is good.
Kiran Arul
Had a south indian thali last night and still feel very sick , the food is below sub standard , the food neither had taste or texture , never going back again :(
Srinivas Mallacheruvu
We ordered Maharaja Thali quality and quantity of the food is not upto the standard. After paying around $16 i don't think that is value for money. We will get good food for that price. what a waste of money...........
Nira
Food was good. We ordered chole bhature and Chinese platter. Bhature were really good. Service was good as well. We didn't had table to sit when we went but they arranged it for us in few minutes.
Punish Budhiraja
Just went to have breakfast. Firstly no parking signage. I parked far away across the road. Ordered Channa bhatura on opening special price but untrained staff at counter is unaware of the specials and prices, was about to over charge me.
It took almost 20-25 mins for our order. Got a pinch of pickle in one of our plate. When I went back to ask some more I was shouted by the Indian lady (seems owner/manager) that it will be $1 extra. That was so insulting and rude. I left my food in between and paid $1 at counter. Bhatura was ok but Channa need for flavour to it. We never going back this restaurant where they can't give good customer services. Spoons were also not washed better to use plastic disposable spoons.
Lolchewbacca
Went here for the first time. Won't be going back here. They have about 3 staff on the floor who are also managing the counter. I ordered and we had to wait for 35 minutes before our order came.

There is also the issue of the staff not knowing where their customers are seated. Maybe have table numbering system so you don't have to yell out order numbers or go around asking everyone.

Restaurant basics 101: If there are 2 people then you give 2 plates not 1. What the actual hell.

Overall food was good but let down by terrible service, no service with smiles.
Rahul Bannai
I happened to visit this place when I was damn hungry(USUALLY DON'T TRY NEW PLACES WHEN I'M HUNGRY)but to my delight the food turned out so good! They just need to hire few more staff and they will go places! Ambience and Service were of top notch!
Rajas Patil
We ordered for a take home menu as it is just across the road to us. Was too crowded as we visited on the first weekend after the opening. Liked the decor as it looked quite inviting. Open kitchen set up occupies most of the space and fell short of enough space to occupy most of its clients. Sweets on display looked yummy. Ordered Chinese fried rice and manchurian. Quantity is just enough for one person but quite different than a regular fried rice, contained chilli sauce to make it hot, a few veges not even finely chopped, no ginger garlic, no spring onions, capsicum and raw onions chunks looked as if picked up from the salad and had been tossed in with the rice. Manchurian was alright. $5.00 specials were advertised internally and looked like those were the fast moving items. Would not bother to go back.

I went there with my friend. Restaurant interior and environment was good but the food quality and sevice was so bad... Do n,t want to go again this horrible place.....
Amit T
Some good food mate. I loved it. service was good. taste was way better than some other places. quite liked it. surely excellent. 5 stars.......
Kunal
Excellent food and service. I tried Masala dosa, chole bhature, papri chaat and rabri kulfi. I must say thats the best tatse I ever tried in Auckland. It tastes like traditional food we get back in India. Amazing food at affordable price. Great customer service with flash ambience. ... Recommend to everyone. ..
Been there twice already and recommend to everyone who like Indian traditional taste......
Samaya Muduli
Ambience is good but the service , food and courtesy for the customer is really pathetic . We have ordered for Idli and sambar for breakfast but the taste was so disappointing and Idli was so sour , feels like it was old and warmed in the oven for serving us .The staff is also rude in answering while asked about the freshness of the food .
Hemant Kaushal
I am rather surprised to see that all the previous reviews are negative. We visited here on a Thursday afternoon so it wasn't quite busy. The menu is exhaustive and the interiors look lively and colorful. You can get Indian vegetarian snacks and main courses. We ordered masala lassi, chaat, masala dosa, veg burger and amritsari thali. I must say that the food was prepared well and tasted authentic. However, we all felt that the quantities were a little stingy and in the burger I feel there must have been some cheese rather than only ketchup. Of course, the only reason why you would order a burger at a place like this is because you are missing the taste of a 'desi' veg burger. I hope the management works on these aspects. We had no problem with service or cleanliness which was faced by the diners who have submitted their reviews before me.

Do not miss out on the masala lassi.
Harshil
Food was late to table and worst customer service and staff with no cleaning service training and worst is quantity for pau bhaji also lady from chaat corner was shouting number of times.

Yesterday i went to this restra. After the entry we thought that it would be a nice restra but after making order the reality came out.We waited for around 20-25mins n then again for another order we waited around 15mins.Service was more than pathetic.Even though water wasn't available and we got a answer that everything is self service. It was such a waste of time n money both.Won't ever try this outlet.Won't even recommend
I Am Hungry
Visited the place in the opening week.... ordered veg chow mein, dosa and bhaturey... veg chow mein were horrible..full of turmeric.. no salt and no sauces...returned it...dosa was very cold and un eatable...bhaturey were ok..service is miserable... tables are dirty and no one cleans them promptly...u have to ask for everything...and keep waiting....carpets are dirty... plates and glasses unclean....not friendly staff...prices are ok..decor is good...sorry wont be there again..
Kaushikc_32
Visited this place twice in the last week. Once on the opening night and the second a couple of days later.
The food was good, but the management was not. It was kind of chaotic inside the restaurant, maybe it was new, maybe they didnt expect a huge crowd but yeah it was kind of disappointing to see the customers confused. Chole batura and Dosa were the highlights in what we had. Chat items lacked that extra punch but yeaah it was worth the money.
