Went there for the first time for dinner. A nice little restaurant in the middle of the suburbs that is clearly very popular with the locals. There were about a dozen people picking up their phone orders while we had dinner.
Good ambience & decor, its a small place so i can imagine it being a bit cramped if they’re at full capacity. Excellent service from the waitress& our food came out pretty fast. The mains were flavoursome, the portions were just right. Would recommend this place and we’d definitely be back
Consistently good, inexpensive, Thai takeaway food. I have tried most of the veggie/tofu dishes and they are always very tasty. We have eaten in there a couple of times, which was fine, but mostly we'll pick up a takeaway.
This was my second group visit here in 4 months and on both occasions the food was fantastic, could not fault it - freshly cooked veges and meats and it was really, really good food, what more can I say. We had to wait a bit for the drinks order to be taken as they were busy with takeaways but we didn't mind that much as they arrived fairly soon after taking our orders and in my opinion this is the best Thai in Birkenhead.
This place is very close to my house in Birkenhead. It is my go to place when I am in the mood of having thai food. It is one of the best places for thai food in auckland. I usually order Stir fried chicken with cashew nuts and I am never disappointed. Food is delicious and portion size is just about right .Staff is very friendly and atmosphere is good.
One of the best Thai restaurants I've been to in Auckland. Service was great. Relaxed atmosphere. Amazing food. Bottomless rice. BYO. Loved it.

My wife and myself have been eating here for the past 6 months we head down from Albany from time to time or if I am working late I'll make it an effort to grab some takeaway, anyway we decided to dine in on Valentines day, we where lucky to get a table as it was pretty busy that night, considering it was busy I think the staff did well to provide my wife and myself some pretty good service, one of the staff members could speak pretty good English She helped explain some menu options as we wanted to experience more about Thai food, she gave us some wonderful advice on wines as we ordered a few spicy options. The food is unlike other Thai restaurants out there, the flavour I reckon is more authentic unlike some places where they tend to over sweeten the dishes, we visited Thailand last year and we now know the difference in food and quality now, we even received some advice on where to go places next time we go back to visit Thailand, if your looking for your taste buds liven up well ours sure have, we will be sure to drop in real soon.
We eat here several times a year and have introduced others to this restaurant. All in all this is my favourite Thai restaurant. We drive across the Shore to get there. The food is not oversalted, a common failing of others and the balance of the elements, sweet, sour,salty, bitter etc are just right. Since the male waiter left the service is a little haphazard. Be firm and clear with your choices.

Generally very good, but there is often a lack of consistency in the quality and portion sizes of the items. For example, some times the Pad Thai is full of chicken and shrimp while other times there is only a sliver of chicken and shrimp. Even at its worst though, it is better than the other two Thai places in Birkenhead.
great service, great food, quick with take aways and you get the food you ordered not just 70% of it!
Prompt service. Delicious food. Entree, mains and puddings all divine. Stand out deep fried banana pudding, and noodle dish which I've forgotten the name of. Overall great place and will be back
We have had dine in there several time as well as got takeaways as well. Every time food is great. And might be best customer service out of any restaurants/takeaways i have been. Welcoming environment and very kind staff.

We ordered Thai beef salad and yellow curry. Meals were tasty and fresh. It's just the yellow curry tasted a little bit of sweety. Medium spicy however it's not spicy at all.

Fresh flavours, a wide selection and generous servings (apart from tofu which can be a bit hit and miss as far as portion/piece sizes). Food from here always tastes so good! Staff are super friendly and helpful, definitely recommend this place.
Went in for a slightly late dinner as my friend has limited options due to going gluten free. Really lovely ambience and decor. Nice, warm service. We ordered two Pad Thais and one Green Curry, food was delicious and came a lot quicker than I expected, which was great because we were starving. I would say a Pad Thai here was a bit unique compared to what I've had elsewhere. It was quite creamy as expected but also there was a hint of sweetness which I enjoyed. Price is about middle of the range as far as Thai is concerned. All in all good experience.

Fantastic impromptu Thai food, which grabbed on route home to Kingsland and we'll make the trip again. Best Thai takeout we've had in NZ, since moving back 2 ago. They were great with my allergies. Delicious duck with plenty of meat and fresh veg/fruit. Other half scoffed his whole green curry. Fluffy roti. Quality food!
My partner and I experienced Real Authentic Thai food on Wednesday night 24th. The whole experience of being welcomed in to their establishment and being waited on with a smile, and the Best Thai food was breath taking. As I am a city and guilds chef myself I was most impressed by the whole experience of dinning there. My partner and I will most definitely be going back. I highly recommend this Restaurant and we both wish them well in the future. Regards Mr Wolf
