Great food served quick! (Did go when it was quiet). Everything was tasty and seasoned well.
Thought the chairs were a bit uncomfortable, but honestly not a huge issue unless you're staying for a long while.

1share dish+2noodles+2drinks were $58 (for 2people) not many customers, the restaurants always really quiet every time I went even though the food is good. Soju is $10 much cheaper than other Korean places so if you are a heavy drinker I recommend this place..

Black bean noodle and the spicy noodle are very nice! The fried spicy garlic chicken is very nice as well. Service is slow but great if you’re not in a rush.

They were one of the few restaurants open in that part of Auckland on New Years Day, and we were pleasantly surprised at the tasty food that was served.

I ordered a dry black bean sauce noodle that calls a Ganjajang for a takeaway. It was nice and fresh. I know that it sells Ganjajang at only this restaurant in CBD. I do not enjoy Korean style normal Jajangmeyon but, I like Ganjajang that also is Korean style. I recommend it. I am not sure the other menus cuz Ive never tried them.

Visited the restaurant to quite unwelcoming service, it felt like they were annoyed I interrupted a conversation by coming in and getting a table. The bowl of jajangmyeon I ordered arrived in around 10 minute. You could tell that the sauce was rewarmed quite a few times and a little diluted, but the noodles were nice and chewy.

Outstanding food with lovely service. There were only two of them who runs the place, friendly Korean aunty and uncle trying their best to keep up with the continuous orders. Not the fastest service you could get, but it truly worth the wait!

Food: 3.8/5<br/>Service: 3/5<br/>Overall: 3/5<br/><br/>We ordered jajangmyeon (Black bean paste noodles) and shrimp fried rice. Fried rice comes with black bean sauce and jjambong soup. If you add the soup to the noodles they will go really well. Soup was not too spicy and the fried rice was quite nice itself. Just found the serving for the fried rice a bit too small for the price of $16.

The food is really delicious as it contains all the traditional Korean-Chinese flavours. The food is always consistent and the price is affordable. I also think they use very little or no MSG to enhance the flavours as I have never felt sick or uneasy after visiting this place. However, this may be the reason as to why the food takes slightly longer to come out. Overall, I would definitely recommend!

Place of fond memories for me. Heard that the owners have changed, came here again recently and wow the food is really good! Tangsuyuk crisp and light with heaps of veges in the sweet and sour sauce, black bean noodles are top notch too.

My mates said we had to come here for the black bean sauce noodles so we did. We also got the fried rice with chicken & soup and the sweet & sour pork. Everything came out in good time, hot and delicious, really tasty. Service and ambience is standard here.

Korean style chinese restaurant that is pretty much a place to drink soju and share food within a group.<br/><br/>Food was okay; most dishes come in large portions designed to be shared amongst four+ people and priced that way ~40$ a plate so can be expensive in small groups.<br/><br/>I suspect the soup dishes are based on simple flavoured stock eg shrimp/prawn stock, as the soup did not have much in them to be able to produce such flavours. Also got really thirsty afterwards.<br/><br/>I dont mind it as a place to drink but the food itself when analysed is average.<br/><br/>3- Yums<br/><br/>

I have always wanted to try jjajangmyun and I, personally, find that there aren't many places that do this type of dish. <br/>My cousin and I went here recently and she has high expectations when it comes to food. I really liked my black bean noodles. I was expecting that it would be a little bit saltier or more of a savory taste, it was sweeter than I thought but not in a bad way. Fortunately, when I gave my cousin a bit, she liked it too. She had the mild seafood noodle soup, since she cannot handle spiciness that well. She really liked her dish to the point where she kept drinking the soup. We also had the deep fried chicken with garlic sauce, it was very delicious. However, I personally would've wanted it a little bit crunchier, my cousin liked it the way it was.The jjajangmyun is very affordable, only $10. Other dishes were a little bit more expensive but only slightly.<br/>My only advice is that there could have been more staff, since there was only two people working and cooking, because doing both by themselves is hard work.

Good jjajangmyun(noodle with blackbean paste sauce) And jjambbong(spacy noodle soup)are nice and cheap. Service is noy that great and had to wait for food long time.but still my family go sometimes because this is only place sell korean version of chinese food.

Ordered jajjangmyeon and sweet and sour pork. The jajjangmyeon was pretty good. I'd say $10 well spent. The sweet and sour pork was a bit disappointing, it was just alright, I expected more. Would visit again for the jajjangmyeon

I went here for lunch when the restaurant was quite empty.<br/><br/>I wanted to try jajjangmyeon for the first time, and this place does korean chinese food. The food is very affordable- only $10 for a bowl of jajjangmyeon. I like their spicy jjampong as well, so if I could go there again I would get the jjajjangmyeon and jjampong half and half combo.<br/><br/>The jajjangmyeon was thicker and sweeter than I expected, but that's not the restaurants fault!<br/><br/>I wish they had music on though. The whole time it was my friends and I sitting in silence! But I wouldn't mind going there again!
