Friendly staff members, and one of the oldest branch of Jewel of Bombay. They used to be called Jewel of India. Very generous with their sauce, and my favourite branch of this chain. During the semester breaks there's almost no queue, but during the semester time the queue can be really-really long. They also close early on weekends.

Decent Indian fast food that's priced quite well. Their butter chicken on chips is a vamos favourite.

Great food but way over priced for students.

It’s the first time to have a Biriyani, but I suppose it’s worth to try once. I chose chicken (they have other options, Lamb and Vege). samosa was reasonable for a snack. I cannot recommend curry rice since it was cold, tasted like water, and a portion of the size was small for one.

Small portion of rice and curry for 12$ it looks like I was served the 6$ lunch special but he charged me full price! Plus naan came to 15$
Flavour wise it was watered down so wasn't a great deal of flavour
Would I go back? Nope I highly recommend going somewhere else for Indian food this was shocking mate never again what a ripoff

Not bad for the price, just for take away or a quick lunch instead to get another fast food, but it is not a place to
specially . The service was polite and place fairly clean.

Price is very reasonable. Curry is above average for a buffet style. I didn't see an option but would like to see a more restraunt feel with fresh curry and be able to order a glass of wine. Cheesy Naan bread is one of the best I've tried

Sure it's cheap, but I've made betty curries than this and I can hardly cook. I've had oily ones before but this curry was watery. Beats the hospital food opposite, but only just.

May 2018
We visited on a Tuesday around 5pm ish
The hot Butterchicken on rice was nothing special but edible. The naan are cooked to order, so are hot, delicious and were really the only thing to rave about.
The shop looked clean and the staff did their job but that was all
The place needs a major major spruce up/makeover.
No parking whatsoever

very same and regular menu, which doesn't change at all....

we tried samosa, which was atleast 4 days old....reheated....was stinking from inside

2nd item we tried was biryani, it was just rice mixed with curry with few drops of food color. i am really disappointed with the quality of food they serve.

Yesterday tried Lamb Rogan Josh with rice in snack size for $5.90 ....great pre-exam snack or if you are not too hungry also their Chicken Curry was delicious too...

Have been here about 3 times.
1st time was good.
2nd time was great!
3rd time however, (last week on ANZAC day) wasn't good at all. Ordered butter chicken which looked as if it had been sitting there all day.
Decided not to judge so much with my eyes.. when I ate it, it wasn't as good as previous times..
a few hours later it was coming out of me like lava. Not a great feeling!
Food must be fresh, keep that in mind pls fam.

Stopped by for lunch. It is generally quite fast if you don't order naan. The selection of curries seem to change but they do always have some of the standard ones like the butter chicken.

The curries aren't the best I've had but were alright. The large is an equal portion of rice and curry (plastic container with two sections).

Great little takeout place, easy and quick, however the place only does three vegetarian options, these options change every night, as a vegetarian it would be nice if there were more options as I usually do not find a curry I like and usually get the vada instead. The vada is great with tamarind sauce and is a great price.

Nice place for indian takeaway. But if u r looking for dine in, ill prefer not coz fruit flies are very common here to ruin ur experience.
All the best

An interesting take away place in this suburb. The food is fair, the decor is minimal. The service is overall good. The place is open till late. Will do a takeaway again.

Went for burgers n fries but saw this place instead and decided to check it out. Reasonably priced for townish area. Went for the two curry combo -lamb rogan josh n butter chicken. For take out it's good but its not outstandin; put it this way, I wouldn't drive out of my way to come to this place. Staff were friendly and the place was clean.

Typical North Indian food. Very reasonable in terms of pricing and food quality. A good place to grab a quick bite. Go for the small size meal for a rather satisfying bite. Go for the combo if you would a drink.
