My takeout sandwich had literally one slice of pastrami folded in half in it. Disappointing for what I would consider a premium priced product.

I came here for lunch on Wednesday. It was busy when I arrived, however staff were friendly and welcoming and the lady taking the orders was efficient. I truly enjoyed my coffee and French Toast with bacon. The prices were reasonable and the portions were perfect. I will definitely come back to try the other dishes.

Friendly and quick service. Delicious eggs benny, foccacia bread toast perfect and hollandaise sauce very rich & creamy. Definitely recommend will be returning again. 💯

Came here and had a good lunch! The $6.90 brekkie is pretty good value for a cafe. The toasted bread that came with it is really nice, buttery and crunchy. The poached eggs were all perfectly done. I got a sausage roll from the cabinet and thought the presentation was really cute!
Mochaccino was also pretty good!

Urban list recommended the French toast and damn it was one great recommendation. Beautiful presentation and delicious. Good coffee too.

Service was a little slow and they got the order wrong but otherwise great experience.

Interior is great - looks fresh and new and clean. Service is lovely :) However, it is bad in terms of value for money and the arrangement of seating was not optimal! Menu selection is not the best either. Would even recommend the gloria jeans across the road- and that's saying something!

At just $6.90 for the "Big Brekkie," it's up there with the best value for money in the CBD. Nice staff and overall great service. I'll be back.

$6.90 brekkie, generous portion and great taste. Definitely good value of money. Sausage is juicy and salad tastes nice with the hint of dressing made of apple( I guess so?). Don’t know whether they do fried eggs coz my pal is not into poached ones. Iced coffee is actually frappe while I was expecting something like iced americano. The cabinet range looked so nice which I’m keen to try with a coffee next time.

went with the eggs benedict with bacon which is a tiny bit cheaper than other places - $18.50 standard with 3 different options. I thought the amount of bacon that came with it was generous and crispy
the large flat white went down a treat too
not the strongest flat white I’ve had, but was very good
Went in during the lunch rush and was served promptly and greeted with friendly faces
felt bad for the waitress as she went to drop off my coffee and was confronted by an impatient customer which was so unfounded because I found their service to be very good
as for the ambience this place took over the space of another coffee chain that used to be here I used to walk past and never found it appealing, but they’ve made renovations and made it a little brighter and so it draws people in more ☺️
menu is not that extensive probably due to this being a relatively new place

Currently my favourite place ever!! Been meaning to go here for a while because I always walk past it. I had a sundries tomato brioche and OMG it was the most beautiful creation to ever enter my mouth. I had a hard time choosing because there were other muffins, scones and brioches which I will definitely be back to try. I loved the atmosphere of the place, especially sitting at the window you get to look out and do a bit of people watching if you're into that and aren't anyone will see you there. The staff are so friendly and I just want to give this place and every hug about it a hug because I love it that much. Say a cheap brekkie meal on one of the signs so I'll have to try that soon too

Popped in here for a mocha! The quantity you get is great but the coffee itself was too watery and bland :(. Service was standard but cabinet food seems worth a try!

Shared half the French toast with a friend and it was amazing. Loved the hazelnutty taste, kind of like Nutella. Nicely presented. Would definitely come back to have it again and try the cabinet food, the slices look amazing too. The cappuccino was a bit too bitter though.

Had the French toast at Lorne Street Larder and it was everything I could have hoped for. Highly recommend. Also beautiful view from the seating downstairs and good service.

This place is great! I've had many fabulous coffees here since it's opened and had lunch there a couple of times- I'm currently enjoying their Pork Belly and Granny Smith pie which is really tasty!
