This is one of the best example of an old fashioned fish and chip shop that i grew up with you can pick your own fish from the window and have it' cooked try the fish pie or the fish cakes all home made good service friendly just like home my family would catch up every Friday and have fish and chips try it with your family enjoy!

These were honestly the WORST fish & chips we have ever eaten. Ordered 3 fish, hot dog and 2 scoops of chips. Received 2 fish that were literally the size of fish bites and the hot dog was the most revolting I have ever seen. It was undercooked, batter looked grey and was so bad it wasn't touched. The prices I thought were on the high side. Only positive is the chips were nice. Never again will we be back. If you want nice fish and chips, find somewhere else.

Was disappointed.
Was really looking forward to a fantastic meal (due to the reviews), but was let down by quantity and quality of food. Paid $32, asked for 4 scoops of chips, 2 x burgers and 2 x fish. Burgers where below par, and chips was definitely not 4 scoops, would say one at least. Hopefully this is a one off.

Fish n chips always good, often get extra piece thrown in. Burgers were pretty meh, some of the lettuce was brown, and despite girl on phone going thru our various fussy people's burger changes to confirm, still got stuff on burgers that kids didn't want. Nice home made beef burger patties tho. Overall good value for money.

Best fish n chips in Remuera!! Their chips are addictive, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. oysters very fresh too. Been here 3 times never disappointed.

These guys have the best site in main street Remmers, hence the pricey side I guess. The fish just rite amount of batter n chippies was to me only a handful for the 2 of us at $3.50,??😕 some brunt ones seen too.<br/>came at around 12noon lunchtime Saturday and 1 poor staff member on at time too.<br/>1 regular customer there told us how she loves da place.

Burgers are AMAZING! <br/>I get the egg burger every time! The beef patties are (home made I think) delicious, the perfect salad selection and tangy onion tomato relish. <br/><br/>Chips are cooked to perfection, crispy but soft, hot and fresh! Fish also 🐟🐟🐟<br/><br/>I often buy fresh fish here too, never disappoints. <br/><br/>The staff are really friendly and food is always quick! Highly recommend!!! 10/10

This store has the best fish n chips in the Newmarket Epsom Remuera area. Depending on the day the fish varies but the batter is always light crispy and perfectly cooked and the chips too. If you ever see baby hapuka on the menu go all in. It was fabulous!!

Had the good fortune to work in Remuera for a number of years and got to know this shop fairly well! Always brilliant quality and the freshest fish you can get. Shame I live in Dairy flat!
