Serve fast piping hot meals and wide range of menus to choose from the wall. Affordable price and large portion. Our favourite would be #56 Braised Eggplant wt Roast Pork on Rice. So yummy! Although sometimes you'll see the ladies at the counter looking 'not in their best mood' but that doesn't effect the quality of the food. Duck and Roast Pork equally good.

This store has all the varieties of food and noodles that you can eat, so much to choose from, so many choices also. I bought some rice with a mixture of meat and vegetables, good flavour.

There are other food outlets next to lee hong in botany but we've never tried any of them, we just keep coming back to lee hong. The food is tasty, comes out ridiculously fast and is piping hot, i get sick a lot after eating out but have never had any issues eating here. Our favourite dish so far is the lee hong special fried noodles which is a carb heavy plate of fat noodles smothered in a soy based sauce topped with pork belly. The ladies who serve at the counter have limited english but are lovely to deal with :D

Everytime we are in the Pakuranga/Botany area we always eat here. Best bang for your buck. Servings are ginormous and the food is delicious. Too bad they had to close down their CBD branch or else I would eat there every day.

I've tried their Fried Fish Fillet with Sweetcorn Sauce. The source taste is just like what I have in Hong Kong.But the fried fish is too hard because they use typical British deep fried fish instead of just fried fish. Is kind of weird having crispy fried fish with rice。

Great food, their dumplings and springrolls are the BEST! Even on a busy day they have fast service and every meal comes with free hot tea with free refill, perfect during the colder months.

I can thoroughly recommend the Ti Rakau takeaway outlet! A great mix of European Chinese and Authentic Chinese food so there is something for everyone. And added bonus: prices are really reasonable! The ladies that serve you are just delightful too.

Service is okay, pricing is average/kinda not cheap. Taste is overall okay, not somewhere you would die to visit again but not horrible. Sizing is decent but not amazing.

I came all the time when I lived and worked nearby. My favourite dish is the roast duck on rice because it is AMAZING. So tender and so tasty too! Really good value for your money :)

I've been craving for some bbq meat on rice the past few days so I decided to try this place. I got the 2 combination meat - bbq pork and crispy pork with rice for late lunch at 3pm. Meat portion is about 4:6 ratio to the rice, the crispy pork meat is chewy but the skin wasn't as crispy as I thought it would be. The bbq pork was a tad dry, but at least it wasn't too salty. Overall I'd say 3/5, the extra point comes from the very friendly staff and for the price of $12, it gets you filled. They have a wide range of choices on the menu, so I'd try the other dishes, hoping there'll be better ratio in the portions.

Visiting a friend who just started at the cool tech start-up SpiderTrack, we didn’t want to go too far for lunch so hopped in the nearby food court. Pretty grungy compared to some of your mall food courts but if you’re after a quick meal that values portion and prices then it's hard to find somewhere that beats Lee Hongs. I ordered a duck egg noodle soup while my friends had a sweet and sour pork on rice and a stone grilled chicken. The lady at the counter who I presume to be the owner is really nice and they try there best to serve their patrons with there limited language abilities. So for diners here in the future to try and have patience when ordering. For the price, you pay you don’t really get any better and we were all full and satisfied at the end of our meals. A nice spot for convenience or if you’re on a tight budget. Showstopper: $$$ and portions Overall Grade: B

Went here a few weeks ago w/ my partner bc I was craving crispy pork on rice. We bought 2 of those , a spicy pork belly dish on rice , and the lee hong special noodles. I can’t argue w/ the prices and portions bc they were good , but I wouldn’t recommend the crispy pork on rice bc it was really dry , the noodles were okay but nothing too special but the spicy pork belly on rice was sooooo good. I’d go back for that alone (:

Massive menu to start with, the stall is managed by a middle-aged couple. Prices are mostly under $12-13 and portions are massive. I ordered the rice with 2 BBQ options (pork and duck) with a side of their hot chili oil. Meat to rice ratio was almost 50:50, veggies were fresh and crisp, broth on the rice was mildly flavored. Awesome BBQ and loved the cripsy pork skin, duck was tad bit fattier for my taste. Overall, worth a visit, will come back for sure.

Heavy MSG and very oily (dark) fried rice with heaps of soy sauce. The attitude was poor, the young guy at the counter was very impatient and rude. Besides, their BBQ pork was very salty and the pork skin was not even crispy. I used to go to this place for lunch at least once a week, I can see everything there has dropped to a new low now.

I love all their foods! I always takeaways there, taste remains me my country food, portions are big ! Price is good for quantity and taste. Bad point: some staff (just one in particular) always looks like we are disturbing him.

I have had takeaways from here t wice- sweet and sour pork and lemon chicken. Both were very syrupy and sweet. Service,staff were very good and order made very quickly. But I didn't like the quality and taste of food that much.

I'd give it less if I could. Don't know why I keep coming back to see if they will give me a good serve this time. I won't be anymore. It's always something. This time they over microwaved my roast crispy pork knowing it goes soggy and ruins the crackling. It's not their first rodeo, they knew what it does, they just didn't care. It seems you get good food and good serves if you're Asian, otherwise don't waste your money.

Great value for money. I've always found the food to be good. I only ever order the squid, roast duck or roast pork dishes which are very flavoursome. The squid is always tender. I agree that they could be a bit cleaner but they have a council 'A' hygiene rating certificate on the wall. The whole food hall could do with a cleanup it is for you shabby. The staff are friendly enough for me. It is a food hall not a restaurant after all.

Probably the worst place I've ever been in Auckland. First of all, it is very dirty, including tables, counter and, of course, kitchen. The service is as bad their hygiene, with staff in a grumpy mood (no wonder why). Last but not least, the food was awful: salty, oily and even burned.

Not bad but not great. You won't be disappointed with the price, but not the tastiest or highest quality. But a good pick if you're looking for a cheap eat lunch in town. Ordered the fried rice and it was tasty enough.

M8. Love this joint. Bang for buck for real! Always stick to the basic 2x bbq/crispy pork/crispy chicken on rice, or smorgasbord (personal mood and on the day analysis dependent) but the portions/cost are usually on point.

the service was good but the food are mostly bland. Some of the dishes made me nausea because of the combination of the main dish and side dish is terribe specially their vegies, i am not sold for it.

This is my favourite Chinese takeaway. They have a myriad of dishes I have never seen anywhere else. My favourite is B6 which is fried rice with deep fried chicken pieces with tomato sauce topped with cheese. Service is efficient and food arrives quickly. They have not raised their prices since I started going there in 2006 either.
