I love this McDonald's! The staff are helpful, and efficient. The food is delicious, hot, and fresh. I love their chicken nuggets, McFlurry, and coffee. The restaurant is modern, cozy, and well-maintained. It has a great location on Great South Road, with easy access and ample parking. This is my go-to place for a quick and satisfying meal.

As always, it's a McDonalds.... what can I say. I came, I ate, it was an average McDonalds, but they were light on the fries.... Apart from that, the staff were friendly and the cleaning staff were amazing! Kai pai! You guys rock!

Probably one of the best McDonalds we've been to. Lots of parking with the closest marked with M. Lots of seating with some having access to power and USB ports. Range of seating to cater for individuals through to large groups. Very clean and well maintained throughout. Friendly staff.

This McDonald's is probably one of my favorites. Only reason is because the service is a bit better than your usual McDonalds which usually are very so so or less than average. I mainly use the drive through when I see the traffic to the city is crazy so then I'll grab a quick coffee. Clean and tidy when I do go in and layout and place looks maintained.

This is an awesome Maccas. The place is generally in a reasonable state, even when it's busy. There are plenty of seats. Haven't had any bad orders from them yet either. By that, I mean no Big Macs with sauce missing or something. Only a couple of minor problems - the self-order booths don't always print receipts (out of paper, I presume), and so you have to guess what your order number is, because it doesn't even display it. There is also no display showing what orders are up, so you have to listen out for staff calling out your order numbers. So, when you don't have your order number, it makes it a bit annoying having to check.

Fast service good team work happening. Never sat and just heard orders been pumped out. They did miss some of our order but ended up getting it. We chose to eat in they still done us for takeaway. Dirty tables. Rubbish on the floor bathroom was filthy.

Convenient location. Food is what can expect from all Mac Donald’s. Very busy restaurant. Every body was running in the kitchen. There was no staff at the counter. I waited five minutes to place an order. No one approached me. I had to try a few times to get someone‘a attention.

Those bright golden arches provide a lot of salvation after a night out. You can't put a price on having a burger after a late night. They've got my order wrong on many occasions and that seems to be a common trend but all in all, can't complain. Shout to having hash browns all day because I've yet to have a bad one from here.

This McDonald’s branch has evolved over the past 15 years to become a Greenlane institution. It’s now an eclectic space with everyone from students to business people. The interiors and food offerings have improved over time and I consistently enjoy their burgers, fries and nuggets. Eating them within 20 minutes of getting them is key to maintaining the best texture and temperature for all of the food. Nothing beats a good round of maccas after a night out.

While the exterior facade is just the typical McDonald's layout and rather systematically characterless and unassuming, the indoor area has been beautifully renovated and serves as a modern, classy and relaxing environment ideally suited for both group and individual dining, work meetings or simply relaxation. The Wifi here is always speedy and reliable too, which is not to be underestimated.

Usually I wouldn't rate a McDonald's so highly, however this Mcdonald's is far superior to most of the other maccas i've gone to. The food is standard maccas food, so if you like normal maccas then this place will be nothing special food wise. However the renovated store looks and feels more like a cafe/eatery rather than just a normal maccas with sticky floors.

The normal McDonald's part is alright, ordered through the kiosk and got my order right. The spicy chicken nuggets were not spicy at all. Not worth paying the extra 60 cents for them. Went to the McCafe part to grab some coffee. Ordered 3 coffees, I grabbed one of their rewards card but only had one stamp despite having ordered 3 coffees. When I went and asked the lady at the counter if you can only get one stamp per purchase or was it one stamp per coffee, she just nodded. So I asked again and said we bought 3 coffees but only received one stamp, she had the annoyed look on her face and took my card and gave me two more stamps. The customer service could have been a little better.

Fast food chain is not the word Mc Donald’s Greenlane branch should use. Slowest service ever. Staff need to really value their customers n not boast about being the best in customer service. Waited 30 mins just to get a Mc Chicken Burger. Do not want to give them any stars but Zomato does not allow to post review without giving a star. So it’s 1 star.

Order took very long time, it was really unorganised, the cashier did not know what he was doing. Why would he try serve all orders at the same time, he should have prepared them asap and served them as soon as they were ready, little bits and peices were missing, really did not enjoy the wait. Taste was amazing as it was 4:30am after heavy drinking.

Good service from the staff however food was well below average. Forgot my bacon in a chicken and bacon mcmuffin. Muffin was cold and chewy along with the chicken Pattie. Even coffee was cold. Considering there were no customers about i can't understand how low the quality was!!!

Worst experience ever....asked for a table delivery and waited for 40 minutes.Finally , went and asked the reception and picked up the order.Making it worse,more than 5 ordered items were missing. Informed the staff and waited again for 15 minutes for it to be delivered.but still 2 missing. Staff went to get the items and didn't came back for next 15 minutes. Had to go again to ask for the rest of the items. Saw that the staff attending us was busy delivering other orders. Talked to the manager and she informed that the Italian dressing for the salad was finished , which was never conveyed to us....In total had to wait for more than an hour....such a waste of time on a holiday ..such a horrible service.....would never recommend this place.....would like to put 0 star ,since there is none putting 1 star.

My friend and I met for lunch today at the McCafe part of McDonalds, Greenlane. Previously the food choices were very good but all that was offered today apart from the muffins was 2 very dry looking toastie type sandwiches. One was ham and cheese and the other plain cheese. No other savoury foods were on offer. Very disappointing and probably explains why that part of McDonalds had plenty of seating. Patricia Gupptill

Dropped in this evening to get a couple of soft serves and a pie on the run. Used the self service purchase to buy as fast as possible....then waited 17 minutes to be noticed, when one of the staff behind the counter asked us what our order number was (why should they need to ??) We told her and a further 3 minutes later the soft serves arrived. She then confessed that she had "thrown our receipt in the bin" which was why it got lost. what a shocker.

Every time, service with a snarl. Tonight, going via drive thru my meal was ready by the time I drove up, the lady had one hand on her hips, other hand half hanging out window, and looking away. I took it with a “merry christmas” and “thank-you,” and with a petulant over exaggerated manner she rolls her eyes and slams the roller across. Rough night? I get no one wants to work the graveyard, especially xmas/boxing day. Foods generally consistent, no subractions for wait times, I know it gets busy. I guess the issue seems to be a customer service one. Sounds like a shitass work environment. Staff are miserable and there will be a reason for that. Drove home feeling a bit deflated. Gee, sorry I choose to go to Maccas.

The service is really bad. Waited 25 mins for 3 frozen coke yet the girl over the counter told us to wait in line? You can see people zooming in the kitchen and do nothing, Ridiculous. Would give it a 0 its allowed in zomato.

McDonald's has always been my favourite fast-food place... but to be honest, the fries have always been un-consistent, either too soggy or too dry. The wait is also quite long and when we go through drive-through there's been quite a lot of mistakes. Thanks though.

If I could rate lower I would. Service is -10/10 honestly, the staff here need to be retrained on how to at least *pretend* they have somewhat of an interest in what they are doing. Definitely avoid this branch whenever we're in the area and feel like a quick fix however wanted to give it another chance and got let down again. Premises appear to be reasonable, milkshake/frappe machine was broken, yet a f*cking gain. Wait time on food below average. The food isn't even worth it, just left feeling ripped off and mentally abused, I'm filing for personal grievance. 😂

Service so bad it was funny...... 9.04 pm 24th September drive-thru experience. A long story over a simple combo and thick-shake order. A young female staff member handed me the shake with the lid not secured and told me 'to be careful'. This was one seriously overfilled cup with the shake running down the outside of the cup, onto my hand and onto the car door panel. When I politely asked her to sort it, she forced the lid down making the situation considerably worse and tried to hand the drink back to me. I then asked her to look at the mess she had made at which point she threw the drink away and proceeded to make a new one. The machine overfilled the cup again and this drink was also discarded by the now indignant staff member. On the 3rd attempt, the machine overfilled yet again and to make matters worse, had also run out of chocolate syrup. The girl tried to offer me this new 'vanilla shake' which it clearly wasn't. Rude, poorly trained staff member with zero customer service - clearly a machine sensor issue that could have been sorted easily. We are a middle aged professional couple who found this a funny experience but not one we expected from the macca's flagship store.

I went during grave yard, so this was very early hours of the morning. I ordered through the drive through and was welcomed with a dead attitude, she was so buzz kill it was obvious she didn't want to be there and that kills my vibe. She also did my order wrong and didn't even give us salt packets for the ducking fries! I work at Maccas myself and that person doesn't meet the expectations. When I asked if I could have salt packets for my fries she turns around WITH my food bag right before she was going to hand it to me and then she walked slow like she was annoyed to get the salt packets. I'm never going back and I hope she gets fired. Even when I payed for my stuff she was totally rude. I understand you're tired Hun and you want to go home but wth you're working for a reason and I'm totally hungry and ugh. I come to you for the promised service your company advertises and you were very below the line of meeting a customers expectations.

The amount of money I've spent at this mc Donald's is kind of sad. I mean... who doesn't love a good maccas feed right. I like this branch as it's open 24/7 and I can pop by at 4am after clubbing. They also have a sauce stand which is different. Service is great and they bring your food to your table.

Came here lastnight after a long night out and ordered the essentials (chicken nuggets, mc chicken burger, large fries and a large coke). They really take the cake at being one of the best maccas I've been to because they have a self service station full of sauces...not just ketchup or mayo or mustard BUT...THE BIG MAC SAUCE ! I literally dipped my chips, my nuggets and my burger in it. I'm actually truly amazed with this. They definitely know what customers love best 👌 Oh and ofcourse the fries were cooked and seasoned to perfection and the burger was delicious!

I don't usually review fast food places but I am doing this Mcdonalds as I think a lot needs to be improved. Customer service here is unpleasant every time I come in. A man was busy giving feedback while I was standing In line waiting to order, someone else could have taken my order so I didn't have to wait through the whole thing. Th frappe machines are always broken which the staff don't seem to care. The coffee takes so long to make, the process needs to change somehow to quicken things up? I asked the lady if she could bring the coffee to my table as I was sitting in, but it came in a takeaway cup and she just called out my order so I had to get it myself. They should ask if the customer wants sugar, as it's annoying to keep getting up all the time. Staff are not very friendly and don't listen to what the customer wants. It might just sound like little things, but I'm sure others are finding the same or I'm just unlucky as I always have a somewhat bad experience here.

Usually I come here when its not so packed and environment is pretty mellow and service is well. But was here yesterday Sunday 18/06 for kids to eat and play. Restaurant was very full and the table we sat on had been cleared but not wiped clean as some parts were sticky. The floor surrounding us had crumbs lying around. Asked staff walking past where I can get a high chair for my toddler as I didnt see any, staff member had no clue what I was talking about so almost had to spell it out for him but I decided to circle the restaurant and found one. Other than that, my kids will always love Mcds and Greenlane has a cool playground. I'd only wish McDonalds would have playgrounds suitable for under 2's aswell.

Service is slow, my burger arrived cold and my coke was flat, tables remain with food rubbish which requires you to remove just to get a table which is completely unacceptable. floor had food and rubbish which didnt get swept intill i left DISGUSTING!! workers seem to lack an initiative and seem clueless at times aside from the kids playground which my kids love thats the only upside to this visit but sadly i wont be taking them back anytime soon. This is the second BLT they made because the first was Cold and the bacon looked exactly like this old and burnt I forgot to take the pic of the first blt as I wasn't expecting it to be the same second time round ! On top of that my BLT had aioli NOT Mayo I honestly couldn't be fucked walking back up talking about it as their hands looked full enough 🙄 was peak time so the quality went out the window was all about quantity . So I wasn't happy at all the coke tasted flat not fizzy the service was fast & friendly despite it being full on packed . Also there was a lot of workers standing around whilst tables needed to be cleaned there was literally only 2x people rushing around wiping tables like headless chickens .

I visited last night. They are too slow, staff look like don't wanna work there, all bins are full floor extremely dirty. Wouldn't go back again!!! Untrained staff didn't close my drink's lid proper when you try to drink was leaking all over my clothes. Very disappointed!!!!

I remember coming here in the early hours in the morning with my some classmates when we were working on a group assignment. We were fortunate enough to use their meeting room to practice our presentation. But before we could use the room we, had to book prior arrival. Since that it was on the day of the presentation, which is why we came really early. I ordered the hot chocolate from McCafe and the Pancakes from the main area and it pretty much boosted our confidence.

One of the best presented Maccas around. Recently had a new playground installed which is probably more suited to older kids than the really littlies. Maccas have raised their game with customised burgers and I like the Angus range. And of course my kids are sold on happy meals :(

one of the better maccas in auckland, mainly 'cause it's a training/trial restaurant i guess, as their head office is just up the road behind countdown. They properly use this branch to train new staff and launch new products and trial new ways of serving their diners such as touch screen ordering. This site undergoes a new refit every time i set foot there too and was originally georgie pie, always open n busy in gleenrane.

Wednesday @ 11pm, went to order an ice-cream with extra ingredients. Asked the lady at the drive through if I could have my extra ingredients. Got snappy attitude & was told it was in the ice cream. I ask her to show me and she said "theres a decent amount in there under the icecream!" Left pretty pissed off & upon further investigation... There was no extra ingredients. Workers need to stop thinking these ingredients come out of their own person secret stash or something. Horrible customer service.

Okay reviewing Maccas is a bit useless. Been to one, been to all. Well the menu is, well predictable, obviously. They do the Create your own burger, which is brilliant. The only thing is that it is a bit slow service, well McD standards! But at least the burgers don't look 'thrown in the box' together. But the reason for my review is their new kids playground. It is amazing and the kids seem to have a great time. Kudos!

One of the better Maccas out there. Loving the new interior design, the create your own has its own designated kitchen where you can witness the magic happen as they recreate your specific order! Food is the pretty much the same as any Maccas out there, however the nuggets were really damn good! Freshly made! The buns for our burgers seemed stale. But the best thing is that you can now pump out your own BIG MAC SAUCE! Love it! I recreated my own burger haha, cheeseburger with Big Mac sauce ~ Will likely come back to dine here again, it's definitely the best looking Maccas in Auckland! Well done!

This place is always a pig sty! There are dirty tables everywhere and the slow staff wondering around at the pace of snail, grab a few things and don't even wipe the tables down with a cloth afterwards. It's flashy new menu and service is the slowest in all the 7 years I have lived in Greenlane. They may try to present themselves as a dining restaurant but their staff are always tired looking, unhappy, lazy and don't care. I worked at McDonald's in queen st when I was a teenager and the front counter staff were always upbeat and on point. There was a definite team dynamic back then and I don't see that here with so many different ways to buy a burger the professionalism has gone out the window. What a waiste of money on refurbishment.

Greenlane McDonalds now has the create your taste menu, which if you haven't heard of it before it a gourmet burger option that you get to choose exactly goes what in your burger. They also bring your meal to you when it's ready and even the fries are a bit fancy in a wire basket. The burger I made was delicious (if I do say so myself). They also have the regular mcds menu and McCafe options, so something for everyone.

I hear McDonald's are struggling globally. After visiting this outlet a number of times I fully understand why. Slow. Complicated and slow. I waited 20 minutes for a quarter pounder combo at lunchtime. 10 minutes for breakfast this morning. They now have some sort of table service where they bring your food out. It doesn't work. It's garbage. It's funny to watch the kids who work here walk around aimlessly as food gets cold trying to figure out who's starving the most. And then when your meal turns up chances are it'll be incomplete. I ordered a build it yourself burger. The drink turned up. Then sometime later the fries turned up and were cold. Then the burger turned up. And some more cold fries along with a sheepish apology. Whoever has done this listen closely. You are ruining the brand. Because it isn't just this outlet. It's all of them. You've fiddled it and it's rubbish.

Order your own burger and get it delivered to your table- it might not be something to shout about in most restaurants but for Classic old McDonald's it is a good reason to have a try. The burger was OK considering it is made in a fast food house. I did find the bun was a bit too light.

Pretty disappointing. We waited longer for our Create Your Taste burgers than we did for the burgers at Burger Burger a couple of nights ago. We received an apology for the wait. Once we got home, we found McDonald's also forgot some of the paid ingredients on one of the burgers, used the wrong bun for it and forgot the fries. Left a voice message with the store but haven't heard anything back. -0.5 for each of the following: the wait, wrong bun, no pineapple, no fries, the price, no reply.

The create your own burger fantastic idea, and the burgers we ordered fresh and delicious, worth the wait. Prices reasonable. Our only gripe the touch screen needs cleaning and scrolling screen needs to be user friendly for people with disabilities. Overall a great experience and will definitely go back.

I went to the GL McDonald's to try the 'create your own' menu. The new kitchen area looks great! There were plenty of touch screens available even though it was reasonably busy. I order a beef burger on brioche with swiss cheese and extra bacon. I got all the regular salads plus mushrooms and caramelised onions. I loved the range of sauces! I also ordered the new gauc and salsa fries and a frozen coke. They were pretty quick and the table service on the wooden boards is a nice touch. Unfortunately my fries and drink didnt come out with the burger and had to check with staff that they were not forgetten. The burger was better than expected. All the veges were super fresh and you could taste all elemebnts in the burger. The meat was kind of greasy, which was a wee bit disappointing. The gauc fries were ok but the ratio of gauc to salsa was wrong, not enough avocado!! But I did like all the options of self serve sauce. All up I was reasonably impressed with Mcdonalds meal and service. Definitely will be keen to create something else delish!

McDonald's has upped its game with gourmet burgers. A welcome change. Extremely polite and helpful staff around the gourmet burger area. Ambience is a mix of old and new. Burger was outstanding. Highly recommend these burgers.

I asked for cafe breakfast with fried eggs was not happy with the eggs I thought I was getting sunny side up eggs. Eggs were hard. My partner received her coffee in a takeaway cup l got my coffee in a cup. But pleased with the new cafe menu on offer. service we were not happy with due to every thing arriving at different times how ever we think the concept is very good with the cafe menu and will be back again for the same breakfast but will order scramble eggs next time Kia ora

Well Georgie pie is a shamble The pie crust and pastry is crap like old lifeless machine made pasty that wasn't baked properly can't believe I paid 4.50 for that. Don't judge me. It was a 1am hunger that I could not curb with the items in my kitchen cupboard. McDonald's is McDonald's. Mind-blowingly awesome when you are 5. But as you age you discover It is what it is, a cheap quick fix when you need it. Because a happy meal wasn't gunna cut it. Cue: Hunger buster plus an extra cheese burger. Everything was as you would expect. Except the cheeseburger was missing it's best component, the gherkin! McDonald's Greenlane thanks for the extra ketchup! But please up your gherkin game.
