mean place for a roast better than roast world.....guaranteed to go back again again and again. havent tried the desserts but will next time for sure

Excellent food and service. Very generous portion sizes and really tasty food. The owners are always so friendly. One of our favourite places for takeaway. Would definitely recommend going :)

Good meals, generously sized and very friendly staff! They also make the best chips. I'd recommend anybody to try it at least once, either roast meal or chips - the fish wasn't that great though

2 x medium pork dinners? there was heaps! A small would do next time, although there's always space for more crackling and roast potatoes. Very tasty and would go again.

On a mostly poorly lit West Tamaki Rd Glendowie there is a beacon of light from this Roast and chippy store next to the lotto dairy. A great find on the edge of glenn innes, Glendowie and St heliers. The store is spacious tidy and has windows seats a table for small groups and two bench chairs for a faceoff at opposing sides of the sidewalls. The real beacon is the golden potatoes sitting under the warmer as the roasts look tempting. It was chippy night and my fav chippy in glen Innes Marasic Bros closes early despite being a Friday night.
You get a very good portion of chips. They are freshly fried and standard thickness. No knots or burnt ends and certainly not mixed old and fresh.also pleasing is they were not showered in salt. Great chips 5/5.
Spring rolls were less impressive. Gooey cabbage filling and artiifical taste. Cooked crispy but just not homemade and likely mass produced. 2/5; fish were reasonably priced terahiki $4.50 and a good size and well battered. Slightly oily but ok. Taste wise was a close pass. I normally get schnapper which is not available but the taste was not as fresh tasting to what I'm use to from battered fish. 3/5; Hotdog on a stick 3/5 dont offer tomato sauce; no scallops on their menu. Deep fried chicken was good also not oily, crisp coating and fresh taste. 4/5
Lady on counter was polite and gave great service with a smile. Staff looked happy and all in uniforms is a professional touch. Best of all at 7pm a wait of only 10 mins is fantastic.
For the price $35 a super meal for a lazy cold fiday night. Didn't feel hungry nor choked up with hard to digest oil after the meal. Will re-review with their roasts which I am looking forward to next time.

Captain Underpants

Drove past this place on the way to a friends house and noticed the flag on the side of the road that matched the advert on here, thought I'd give it a go. To be honest my expectations where not that highly, but wow was I wrong.

Great value roast shop, freshly cooked and great customer service. This is now a regular thing when we visit our friends in mission bay!

I think this is the best roast takeaway In the Mt Wellington, Glen Innes, Point England area. really helpful people. Best roast style food I have encountered. Sometimes a little late to open. This is my go to if we are having takeaway Roast.

I've just jad the hoki and chips and I've got to say it's the best fish and chips I've had in a LONG time! The fish was fresh and the batter was consistent and not greasy. The chips were crunchy and well seasoned with salt and paprika. I'll definitely be back!

The best pork roasts ever!!! (I’m sure all the roasts are beautiful, the pork is just my go to) The owner is a hard worker and aims to please every time!!! Highly recommend if you want a delicious roast meal on the go!!

As a British person who has eaten a lot of roasts and is quite picky, this meal was really good for the price. Lovely gravy, the mash is so creamy and had a good portion of chicken even for a small.

This roasts shop has been doing top quality, great value for money food for years. All served up by super friendly folk. My go-to is the pork meal with excellent crispy crackling and potatoes with gravy. If you have another favourite I'm sure that the other menu items won't disappoint. 😀
