Review Wharf Noodles - Auckland Central

Relatively new place. Very tasty noodles and pleasant environment.

Worst noodles restaurant I’ve ever been!!!!! The noddle is undercooked so it’s thick and sour ? I don’t know why , it must be the noddles have been placed somewhere for a longtime....... and the waitress there is not friendly as well, never go there ! Trust me!never go there!

Came in for afternoon tea with friends after the exam yesterday. Ordered dumplings, egg and spicy chicken noodles. Wanted to try out the snacks but apparently they are always sold out. Dumplings were nicely pan fried and staff seemed friendly. Average food, good price.

the worst chinese restaurant ever！ordered a pork belly stew dinner set, however the meat is soaked in the thick chilli oil, which shouldn't be like that. And they didn't mention about the spicy in the menu. We also ordered a big plate of steam dumplings, outside was overcooked and sticky, inside was soft like uncooked, which i feel sick and gross. so disappointed and upset. would never ever come back again.

I don’t know why Zomato deleted my previous review. Nearly half of the things on menu we’re unavailable when we took the order. Highly disappointed. Why you put those on the menu without offering them?

First experience and service here was so so. When we arrived around 2pm, one staff was at the bar eating his lunch, and another staff had her head down at a table taking a rest.<br/><br/>While the man eating his lunch did serve us, we had to wait quite long for our order to be taken, only to be notified we were supposed to order at the counter.<br/><br/>I had ordered the cold noodles and another hot noodles but when the food came out it was both hot noodles so I questioned whether that was our order.<br/><br/>The man only then explained cold noodles were only available in the summer time and that these hot ones are 'THE SAME' as the cold ones. Whilst I understand that he meant the flavour of the hot and cold ones were pretty much going to be the same, but theoretically speaking, how can 'hot' and 'cold' be the same?<br/><br/>If cold noodles were not available at the time we ordered, the menu should have clearly stated this or it would have been appreciated if at least the person taking our order and our money would have just explained that to us rather than just ASSUMING someone would settle for an alternative.<br/><br/>In terms of the noodles itself, to be fair, the quality and taste of the noodles deserve at least a 3 out of 5 as the taste of the soup was quite tastey and texture of the noodles quite chewy. As some other reviews has mentioned, amount of meat is quite little (some only have a little bit of mince meat but I think that is how it's supposed to be) but for $8.80 for a small sized bowl (small-medium ish), I think the amount of noodles to meat ratio is justified.

I enjoyed my meal here. Thank you. Will come back 😊 I had the braised pork noodles and the beef and cabbage dumplings. Would have liked abit more meat in my soup though. But otherwise great.
