Really great food with high standards of quality. Occasionally food amount is smaller which isn’t good enough. Therefore I give out only 4 star. But again, highly recommended. If u are in the town, must come n try. There are many selection no matter u like western or Asian style. Coffee or cake or any sort of drinking. Better yet, if u have membership, u are also entitled to get discount.

Good food, decent service. Hard and fast. If you pay between 15 - 25 dollars for a plate. Please expect to get that value and quality of food. Seen some ridiculous reviews on here expecting A grade 35 - 50 dollar value food for a casino joint. Maybe consider the same value you threw on the roulette and poker machines. Probably would've got you a decent meal somewhere else 10 fold. Instead you use your loose change from losing it all at the casino to eat at food Republic and then moan about how lame it was. Keep up the good work food Republic staff.

The service is efficient and perfunctory but the food is outstanding! Delicious fish curry with garlic naan! Housed on the main floor of Sky City Casino this venue has a host of kitchens with chefs preparing your food to order. Definitely worth a visit!

Our advice is order something you know that will cook fesh for you, don't get the food that sit under hot light for God knows how long then you will have good experience.

If you hold a premier card better check - Skycity What's on every month website every month as they have pretty good offers on meals at Food Republic and other restaurants and attractions. Read the terms and condition.
Tried their Fish and chips ($5) and Steak with garlic butter, tartar sauce and chips ($10). Both the dishes were good for the price, busy, quick service and amazing staff. Fish was fresh, tasty, flaky, crispy thin coating and not oily. Beef steak was taste with bit of chewy areas but overall good deal.

Excellent value food by Auckland standards. Big portion for roast meals. Went back another night for the Indian meal. Quite a few choices at each cuisine station. Service was quick as everything is premade. $5.50 for a post mix soft drink though is an outrage.

Value for money cheap eats at an upscale ambiance from fish n chips to mapo tofu tour around the globe with Food Republic what a hidden gem! the quality of food and authenticity of flavor was on point very generous serving you will usually have something unpleasant in a dish like a side dish or the quality of the rice but here the whole meal complement each other and no standard was let down the ambiance is clean fresh very pleasing to the eyes the service was friendly and attentive definitely worth trying and will be my go to for those lazy nights you don't wana cook
