The customer service here was very friendly. The sign outside said 'great coffee' but unfortunately I did not agree. The coffee was too hot I had to wait a very long time for it to cool down. It has great potential so I'm not giving a bad review based in one cup of coffee. There was also a pot of kombucha that will be ready in one week, I wish I could stay long enough to try it!

The food is hit and miss, sometimes outstanding(winter soups and mushrooms on toast) sometimes poor(soggy sandwiches). Water always tastes foul, make sure you order drinks! Was there at 2:40 on Friday and told they wouldn't serve me as they close at 3, odd customer service, as a local my business is valuable and I doubt I'll be back any time soon.

This is my favorite cafe on the island. The atmosphere is always nice and cruisy. My coffee is always good and whenever we have breakfast is delicious! There are a lot of options for breaksfast, including omelettes, french toast and the island famous eggs benedict. If you ever go to this cute little cosy cafe try the carrot cake and/or the lemon tart. Prices are fair PLUS everything is made on the premises.

This is simply the best place for breakfast on the island.A family run cafe with quiet friendly service and a lovely atmosphere. The omelets are to die for.
Lovely coffee. I love the kidneys. In summer very popular with the yachties. If you are staying , try it out

Style - casual European chic.

This cafe presents itself as having a Middle Eastern/Moroccan influence but there was nothing on the breakfast menu to support that sadly. The service was strained (staff not working as a team as obviously stressed despite a quiet period when we arrived) and my eggs benedict had BURNT SPINACH hidden underneath. Being an avid cook myself, I asked the waitress how the chef achieved that and she said "they cook it on the grill". Hmmmm....that said, she WAS very apologetic and offered me an extra tomato as compensation (no thanks) then extra bacon, but I was too full after tasting everything on the plate to work out where the burnt taste was coming from. It had tainted the whole plate. I can't remember what my partner had apart from him saying it was "very average". Really disappointing that the bill came to $50 with no offer to reduce it after conveying my disappointment. We dine out frequently (usually Ponsonby) and never pay that much for breakfast.

Poor service, offhand and indifferent attitude of people behind the counter. 15% surcharge for Anniversary Day very poorly displayed and, when queried, justified as though a legal requirement.

Food OK, but beverages expensive.
