It’s always a good vibe and a warm welcome at the social club in Tryphena. We were visiting Aotea and always felt at home at the club - if you’re visiting do stop in! Food is also very good served by Kat and the ladies in the kitchen, and when we visited for my partners birthday they made up a special table and sung her happy birthday - was a nice touch!

I was delighted with the very friendly environment, not busy as people were hunkering down before cyclone hit the island. I was stressed, and the barman, Muzz, was so, so kind .. thankyou, Muzz :) also Jonquil, who made my dinner, which was delicious and beautifully cooked . One of the few spots where you feel good, are welcome and enjoy having a good drinks with decent foods. Probably the best place around. It’s not fancy but definitely it is social and a perfect place to spend a night
