Review One Sip Coffee - Auckland

Sharleena Short
Loved the salt n pepper shakers thought they were a bit cute. Parking is very scarce. Staff were friendly and effecient. Eggs benny was good but the spinach was either frozen or left in water for too long as it had a stringy texture. More than enough bacon and the eggs were just the right amount of runny... English muffins however seemed a bit small for what was on top of them. Overall a good little place to have breaky!

This place knows how to do bacon. I’ve had so many experiences with barely cooked bacon in NZ but this bacon that came with the pancakes was crispy perfection. It made for an ideal combination. Prices are affordable. Food and coffee are good!

Excellent food, service and atmosphere! We ordered the One Sip breakfast, salmon benny, pancakes and a couple of coffees. The food was delicious, eggs perfectly poached, generous portions and the staff were amazing.

Went for lunch during the week, service was fast, and the food was delicious. Had a steak and cheese pie, which was filling. The coffee was very good and came out hot. Definitely recommend. The store has beautiful views on a sunny day as well.

Great views across the inner Hauraki Gulf to the Auckland skyline. Excellent, varied ethnic menu. Coffee ☕ superb. Inexpensive and roomy. Wheelchair access and spotless, hygienic restrooms. An absolute pleasure.

Had lunch here and was really impressed with the food it was delicious and the serving size was really generous I mean it wasn’t what I expected to be honest, pricing was reasonable and worth what we ordered I will definitely be back, cafe is clean/tidy although they didn’t take our dishes away the whole time we were there, it was a lil busy but not enough to miss our dishes we were there for around a couple hours! Hence the 4 rating that was only negative , food came out quickly over all really great experience!

Always good! Lovely atmosphere, great city view. Never overcrowded which is nice so you can always enjoy a relaxing brunch 🔥 I'm a fan of the Mediterranean baked eggs... They're really something

Driven past many times and thought where on earth does one park. But found parking at the back of the building . Feels weird located on the cnr of a busy intersection but I found it strangely comforting watching the traffic. Views over the water and city, cafe nice and spacious inside , very light and clean . Cabinet food looks fresh n tasty . Breakfast and lunch menu available

Really nice use of the space in this cafe, used to be our local dairy so there’s some nostalgia there. The food is generous and tasty, and prices are about what you’d expect for this area. Great coffee!!! Not ridiculously cheap, but also not over the top. One thing we never got to see when this was a dairy of the amazing city views, especially nice in the morning.

Cozy place with a good view and tasty food. We ordered cajun chicken and bacon & cream cheese filo pastry with salad, a good warm chocolate and a mocha. Reasonable prices

I had the one sip breakfast. It was a great portion for the price. I thought everything on the menu was reasonably priced. The place is full of locals and a perfect casual place for a coffee, brunch or lunch. Parking is beside the building. You just need to be careful because it's a busy intersection. I'll be going again if i need an easy place to grab a bite without thinking too much about options 👍🏽

My first visit here and had a nice experince! Have driven past a few times and it was about time for a Sunday breakfast. I had the One Sip breakast and it was large and faultless. Coffee was nice too. Spacious and well lit. Great place for a catch up with friends in the future.

A bright and open space with friendly staff! A good mix of not-your-average brunch items, with some great sweet treats and even freshly made juices from their selection of fresh fruit. A nice stopping point in Te Atatu, with views out over the city to keep you grounded! I had the risotto - generous and flavourful.

With a clean, bright industrial feel, this place was lovely to dine in.
From the moment you step in, the staff are friendly and efficient.
The eggs benedict was DEVINE. The hollandaise sauce had a refreshing hit of lemon, not too much and it came out in less than 7 minutes.
A lovely place right on the corner of a busy intersection but, you get a lovely view of the water so that definitely makes up for the traffic (which really doesnt phase you).
Definitely will be back. Thanks team for a lovely dining experience.

We called in at The One Sip Coffee Cafe for a quick coffee and catch-up. We enjoyed excellent coffee. Decor is modern and pleasant. Would call in again:)

Awesome little café with great views of the city. Cabinet selection has a good variety of sweet and savoury and enough vegetarian options. Got something of the main menu and a smoothie. Very tasty, reasonable priced and presented well. Great little community spot. Will be back for sure.

Very unfriendly staff, barely looked at us when we came in at 7:10am, we were the only customers. Felt like we were a bother to be there so early. Went in there once before and it was terrible but thought I’d give them a second chance. Still bad, will never be back. Coffee was cold and food was average at best. If you don’t want customers so early don’t open so early!

Absolutely love this cafe, delicious food, friendly service and a real value for the local community. Their menu is super reasonably priced and done really well, they do really good scrambled eggs and the pancakes are like little clouds of heaven! They also have freshly baked danishes everyday alongside their plentiful cabinet of sweet and savoury options. Plus they do great coffees too!

The best pancakes I have ever had!! The maple syrup is served in a jug so you can decide how much you want, they cook the banana in the pancake and the bacon is crispy!! Yum

Came here for a late lunch with a mate. Nice little spot in Te Atatu South. Loved the mango/ passion fruit smoothie and my open steak sandwich was also not too bad.

Popped in for a coffee. Great coffee good prices except $2 for a fluffy which was way too expensive. Scone was good. Selection was good and quick service and coffees coming out and it was steady busy. 3 booster seats for babies. Overall good experience.

Came here for breakfast with my sisters. First visit and definitely will not be the last. The best bircher muesli I have had. Everything was delicious.

I've just been here a few times and then it was just for some takeaway cappuccino , sausage roll, and what turned out to be a delicious Neenish Tart. Just the best! As was the cappuccino and sausage roll. Cappuccino though in a takeaway cup still tasted as good and probably better than some i have tasted in a proper cup. Though i never stayed to drink/eat the cafe looked a reasonable size to take many people with plenty tables and not too much crowding. Price is okay and lastly the service from what i have experienced so far is top notch being friendly and fast. I just got to go try out thier breakie one day! And i will definitely be a regular...

Very decent food and a great view of the city and the skytower. I like the tall roof, gives a great atmosphere, and it doesn't feel cramped when its busy. Go if you like cafes.

I took my sisters here the other day. We have been here a few times before and always love it, it has great food at a good price. On my last visit I noticed a health and safety incident. One of the serving staff took a dirty plate into the kitchen and as she walked in she dropped a fork. She didn’t realise and kept moving. For the next few minutes people had been walking over the fork kicking it further into the corner of the room. One of the staff noticed there was a fork on the floor, picked it up, wiped it with a tea towel and added it to the clean fork collection and continued to wrap the forks with the knives. Here I am keeping an eye on the whereabouts of this fork. She took the dirty one and two clean ones into the kitchen picked up the food and lucky us it came to our table. We just got ourselves new forks and carried on with our lives. I wasn’t thinking of writing this but after I slept on it I think they need to know someone could have gotten sick eating off this dirty contaminated fork.

Lively corner cafe with a spacious and modern presimse. The cabinet food and the menu justifies the amount if traffic through the shop with lots of seating for groups of all numbers while still having room to walk around freely.

I ordered the Eggs Benedict and a mango smoothie while my colleague had the bacon in toast. Both dishes were superb although the shape of one of the eggs was quite odd and sort of threw me off as I assumed it was done badly, but I was in for a surprise as I was completely wrong.

Very fast service during peak hours, just a little odd to get there and find parking by car if your not used to the area.

Coffee, food, & staff, all great - unfortunately I now visit a little too often. Highly recommend this local cafe especially my favourite savoury pancakes

New favourite local cafe! Service is fantastic. Meals are on point and delish. The price of A la carte, cabinet and coffee is very affordable. Nice and spacious seating plan. Quick meal turnover, even when busy. Definately worth the time. This cafe is a gem. Classy addition to Te atatu South :)

Very nice little cafe! Food was absolutely amazing, coffee wasn’t too good, needs to be stronger. Service was okay. They need to expand their menu, there weren’t many options to choose from, they also need some music as all I could hear were people talking. But very nice and will come back! :)

First time at this new cafe at the intersection of Te Atatu Rd and Edmonton Rd. A nice open plan cafe with a cabinet of delicious looking sweet and savory food. We ordered the buttermilk pancakes and savory buttermilk pancakes which came with a generous bottle of maple syrup 😋. They also top up your maple syrup if you need. Great food at a great price and friendly staff. Can’t wait to come back to try the rest of their menu.

A great new coffee place the food was great and a reasonable price as was the coffee and staff so friendly. The only thing I need to say against it was the noise they really need to cut down the echo with art on walls or some other sort of flooring. Plus some machine was used behind the counter causing an awful noise it should be in the back room. Would love to go there again but would also like to chat with friend without having to lip read.

Lovely food and great modern feel about the cafe. Friendly staff and great service. Food was reasonably priced and there was a great selection to choose from. They also do freshly squeezed juice which very refreshing.

Lovely new cafe, with friendly sweet staff, big windows make this a sunny and warm spot to partake of a yummy breakfast, morning tea or lunch. Substantial servings of cabinet food and very nice coffee. Te Atatu South badly needed this kind of cafe!
