Grade A!! Best place to get fresh strawberry ice cream, home made gelato and sorbet. Super delicious and prices are reasonable. Was a windy day but if you don’t eat ice cream in the cold weather then you aren’t a true Kiwi! Spacious outdoor seating and limited seating area inside. Love the fun old antique feel to the place. This is definitely a place to stop in when you are heading to Muriwai, Piha and Parakai during the summer holidays. Ordered most on the menu as we were a pretty large group but I only got to take a photo of my son and my Strawberry Sunday with Brownie, caramel and chocolate syrup $9. 10 out of 10 and so worth the buck👌🏽

Fantastic strawberry ice-cream and the best thick shakes in Auckland. Worth the drive, can get busy on Sunday afternoons but the staff are friendly and efficient.

Delicious ice cream. They offer sorbet ice-cream with lots of flavours and strawberry real fruit ice-cream. The real fruit ice-cream one took a while as there was a queue, but both are absolutely delicious and highly recommended to try out!

Love the ice cream and drive through coffee. The new bakery has very yummy treats we have tried the pies and the macarons! All very delicious😊

I recently visited Juicy Kumeu Ice Cream Shop and had a fantastic experience. The ice cream flavours on offer were amazing, and I particularly enjoyed the popcorn caramel and lemon meringue. Both flavours were creamy and full of flavour, and the portions were generous. They were especially refreshing on a hot summer day. The prices at Juicy Kumeu were also very reasonable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this ice cream shop for anyone looking for a tasty and refreshing treat.

Ice cream here is absolutely delicious and nice surrounds to eat it in too. Super friendly, even made my dog an ice cream, which was a nice touch.

We stopped by on the way back from Muriwai. We wanted some ice cream as a treat for walking around for a couple of hours. They have homemade gelato as well as fresh fruit ice cream or yoghurt. It seems like they only had strawberry as an option for the fresh fruit ice cream. The gelatos were scooped at the front after paying but we had to wait for the fresh strawberry ice cream since there was a line for it. I went with the mandarin sorbet. It was sweet and a bit sour but had a strong mandarin flavour. They also had an apple sorbet which sounds interesting. They have a fairly large outdoor seating area on the side where they hand out the strawberry ice cream. it was shaded and a nice place to enjoy the frozen treats. It was a nice place to stop by for some sweet dessert on a hot day.

By far the worst strawberry ice-cream joint ever; the strawberry ice cream was extremely bitter and the ice cream was just plonked in the cone. Then the ‘thick’ shake omg all the milk was at the bottom; not even mixed through; after stirring wasn’t as bad but still not good at all; by far the worst ice cream place. And don’t get me started on the sullen girls working... I know it’s Boxing Day but you’re still in customer service maybe rethink trying to smile to your clients...

The real fruit ice cream here is so so good!! We come here a lot and the space is pretty large and you get served fairly quickly. I always get the strawberry yoghurt as it's my favourite and I love the little chocolate they add on top as its such a cute touch. It tastes so good and I 100% recommend. They also have gelato for anyone who doesn't want real fruit ice cream. There is lots of seating as-well inside & outside.

The BEST real fruit ice cream i’ve ever tasted! Was so happy with the service here as everyone is so happy and friendly. The location is kind of in the middle of nowhere so it’s really nice and peaceful on the country type side of west auckland. The ambience is so cute and reminds me a lot of the old kinda americans style, there’s cute little benches inside and a good style of decor on the out including a little car type thing for seating and bean bags. There’s always music remixes playing that i really enjoyed as well. The ice cream itself is the best i’ve ever tasted. My friend also got her self a real fruit yoghurt and said it tasted amazing, and even though my brother isn’t a fan of any flavour of ice cream other than chocolate, the have a wide range of different gelatos. Whole family highly enjoyed it and was our highlights of our days. Can definitely say I look forward to coming here next time i’m around x

Beautiful ice cream. Tried strawberry ice cream cone and brownie sundae, prefer cone, very authentic and traditional taste like grandma made. Love it!

The place has amazing flavors such as pineapple lumps, strawberry pavlova, salted caramel popcorn etc. Plus outstanding service. If you are ever around here give this place a go, I recommend it.so thank you.

Great to sit in the beanbags in the sun while having a strawberry smoothie! Disappointed they didnt have a iced coffee though. Gelatos look amazing.

First time I came here and I will come back! The kids and I were enchanted, the ice creams were delicious and the portions really generous. We had difficulties to choose what flavour to take because everything seemed so good.

Came here with my family and ordered one large strawberry ice cream. The ice cream was huge, it was worth the price ($5.50), and we weren’t super hungry so we thought one ice cream would be enough for the four of us. As we shared it at one of the tables, we noticed the red-haired lady behind the counter kept glaring at us. Why should we be glared at just for sharing an ice cream? We only wanted one ice cream as we couldn’t eat any more than that. There were still other empty tables and we spent less than ten minutes sitting at the table, but the lady kept glaring at us for about five minutes. It made us feel very uncomfortable.<br/>If customers aren’t allowed to share ice creams here, then please put up a sign which says so.

The gelato's and sorbets are presented beautifully and honestly made me want to try every flavour! Think this will definitely become my regular ice cream spot whenever I'm out in this area. It's such a convenient location right off the main road, and there's space to eat outside in the sun which is nice too. Also the Iced Coffees here are amazing!

After breakfast treat. Loved the presentation of the ice cream it looked awesome. Good range of fruit and other flavors. I had a brownie single scoop chocolate dip. Decent portion. Keen to come back and try the other flavors. Mars and black forest looked particularly good.

Amazing sorbet and gelato from this place. Really love the place. Some really new flavours like Lychee, Smurf etc. Staff are really nice and friendly too! A must visit place when you’re in town

We go here quite often as we've just moved out in the area. Reliably fantastic ice cream and sorbets. Amazing choices and they all taste equally amazing. Highly recommend the cookies and cream and the condensed milk! Im going to be a customer for a long time

went to this strawberri place for a smoothie with the mates instead as the Phil greig site down the road was so packed out with both a traffic jam and crowd, i guess 'cause it is the first strawberry place u see at end of freeway.<br/>As for this we headed on  to a place in riverhead to pick our own berries  with little or no  crowd there  then came to Juicy for refreshment.<br/>I think i'll stick to Mangere strawberry field for my  berry supply..Why, 'cause picking yer own is what is left, just leftover berries suitable for making jam and/or smoothies, the mangere site does all the work with nice big fresh  juicy ones in trays, and not get sunburnt.

The best Ice Cream place my family will go to. The beanbags are a fun addition with always happy music and very interesting toilet. There are so many different ice creams to choose from, that all taste just amazing. The only problem is that the yogurt ice cream had ice on the strawberries, so it was a lot of ice to go through. Overall, this is an awesome place that everyone should visit.

Finally got around to visiting this crazily popular place, and I can see what the fuss is about!! I had been drooling over pictures of their gelato for ages and it didn't disappoint. The gelatos were down right gorgeous, and I wanted to try them all (I restrained myself and only tried two). I settled for the lemon meringue which was a very generous one scoop. Beautiful texture and not to sweet and I think very fairly priced, I found the one scoop plenty. Loved the décor and the ambience was great, I will be back for sure!

Delicious selection of fresh made icecreams, Gelato, sorbet and coffees. Have come a few times now and every time is super! Ordered a 2 scoop Gelato (feijoa & panacotta ) soooo yummy and the scoops were huge! Even the kiddies strawberry icecreams are huge. Maybe a Lil pricey on the 1-4 scoops but such a nice treat now and then. I'm yet to try their coffee brew.😆like the lounge/retro type atmosphere too.

This place is AMAZING! I'll drive 30 minutes just to get a gelato and one of their to die for coffees. The best thing of all is its all made in house! The staff are always cheerful and happy, the place is always clean with the most amazing bean bags and seats to relax in the sun while enjoying your summer treats.

Such a neat place with so much personality! From the cool retro/vintage decorations and polka-dot uniforms to the unique and AMAZING selection of gelato flavours, visiting this shop is a must! Amazing coffees, scrumptious real fruit strawberry icecreams and an incredible range of gelato and sorbet flavours. I think it's so cool that the gelato/sorbet and icecream is all made on site, the owners have great creativity! The staff are super friendly and i come here often. They also have a great drive-thru coffee box which is great when you need your caffeine fix before heading out to work. Love this place :)

Me and my boyfriend went to see what all the fuss was about at juicy nz strawberries! So much choice, Gelato, sorbet and real fruit icecream!! The shop itself looks so unique & it even has a little ride for the kiddies which is so cool! Everybody was smiling both customers and staff. Its great to be served with such a high standard of service and quality products. We will for sure be returning, Juicys is the place to be guys!!☺☺

I can't believe that everything is made on site! 100% made on site.<br/>Such an amazing place! Best place I have ever been to gelato, sorbet, real fruit ice creams(and frozen yoghurt too), strawberry smoothies, fresh strawberries, amazing coffee that's roasted on site! Plus so much more! Staff are all super friendly and all very helpful and in neat uniforms. Great place to stay and eat as they have lots of bean bags and big seats outside and also seating in side. Very neat and original decorations inside including the spaceman! Will definitely be back soon!

Oh my god what a place, sitting out on their deck on a bright orange coloured beanbag, chilling out with a Banoffee gelato its like heaven, my husband picked the Salted Caramel Cheesecake gelato and said it is amazing. What a busy place but nice to people watch. The staff all look great in their retro polk-a-dot uniforms and are always smiling, the owners must take pride in their shop as its so clean. See you guys again soon

Yay so glad I've found somewhere to rate this place online !! I highly recommend if you find yourself out west to stop in for the lovely gelato, strawberry ice cream or coffee. The girls are always bright and smiley in their funky outfits!

ATTENTION ALL ICE CREAM LOVERS, this place is an absolute must if you are heading out west. Decadent strawberry ice creams, gelato and sorbet that leave your taste buds craving more. All ice cream gelato and sorbet is made in house,  daily by the owners. The flavours actualy taste like their names and are allllllllllllll delicious , i can never ever choose one flavour each time i visit and i usually have to try a few flavours first ( which they let you try for free). A great spot in the sun to chillax with an ice cream or delicious coffee (which is also roasted daily by the owners) definitely a must if you are out west ! You will regret it if you dont try it believe me !
