Review Burgerfuel Westgate - Auckland

Went to BurgerFuel Westgate on a Sunday night for a takeaway dinner, we ordered C&N Cheese burger, Roadster (not sure about the name but it’s close) and kumara fries.. We came home to open it and it’s completely not what we ordered.., took the trip back to the store and the staff handled it professionally!! It was a bit inconvenient at first but everything came out great at the end, food tasted great, definitely 5-star service and we surely will be back for more delicious burgers!!

The two girls working around 2pm today were amazing, seemed slightly busy as almost all the seats were taken but we didn’t even wait long for our order. Definitely recommend if you haven’t had burger fuel before then this is the store to go to! The great food and A+ service will not disappoint

Came here for birthday, and I must say, jazz provided some outstanding service and was a real pleasure to deal with. Cool dude with good service, fits the "burgerfuel" vibe! Works well under pressure when the diner became busy, and greeted everyone with a smile. Very nice dude and will come back again just for him lol! I hope he gets some good recognition for his efforts. Thank you Jazz!

Luke and the team deserve these stars. BurgerFuel was never in my top 3 cheat meals, but after the experience I had today. I’ll be visiting more frequently to grab a bite! It would be great to have the nutritional information presented to help us make informed decisions. I ended up getting a kids meal to be on the safe side of my calorie intake.

I live in Henderson and will drive/send hubby to Westgate just for their Modified Thunderbird burgers instead of my local (had it once from Henderson and it was depressing the difference in the way it was made). These burgers are made to perfection. The chicken is always crispy not soggy at all even if it makes the drive home in 1 piece! The ratios are spot on and the staff always serve with a smile . You can tell they love what they do by the food they present . Honestly salivating writing this review 🤣 If you're in the area or not in the area and want a serious burger fix , Westgate BurgerFuel are your guys!

Had such a lovely experience this evening 😊 had a stressful day moving houses and decided on a late night feed before closing and the girl at the cash register was so sweet and helpful! Despite some of the things we wanted being unavailable, she happily suggest other options, and I just genuinely appreciated her kindness ❤️

Had the double American muscle- burger was superb, and simplistically delicious! This branch stands out with great service, and the food better than usual. Thanks team!

Food is great and ambiance is giving rockstar vibes. Will surely dine again when I get back from the Philippines.

The person who served us was such an absolute sweetheart. He had amazing interactions with the customers and made my night. I would come here again any time I’m in Westgate. The food was also excellent. 100/10

We stopped by the shop on the way to Muriwai. We ordered the burgers online and picked them up in the shop. It is located near the roundabout after the entrance to Westgate just after the Z station. The parking area was really busy when we were there so it was hard to find a place to park. It was easy enough to get out and join the highway again since we were heading in the right direction. The burgers were as nice as other franchises. It was interesting that the burger doofer was made into the burger box. Just "unzip" the bottom bit and you can eat it from the box. Their kumara fries were nice and came with aioli. It was a nice place for a picnic burger lunch.

Ordered the American muscle double no carb option and it was delicious. There was a good amount of lettuce to replace the buns. Also the chips and aoili are nice.

Y’all gotta give Eli a pay rise or bonus. Dude was working by himself Saturday and had 5-6 people in there + more coming in and he was sending out burgers fast and taking more orders in the process. He managed to get our burgers out without waiting long at all + the burgers were on point!

Staff was super friendly. Food served on time. Will visit again.

Went to westgate today.. First time in a few years. Just want to say that the two young girls were very helpful and burger was amazing... will be back 😊

Burger fuel burgers will always have a special place in my heart. I love it when they have specials too, when the mac and cheese burger comes out it always makes my month. You can also never go wrong with their fries!

Had great service and very quick. I had the combustion tofu burger which was so tasty, and made well. I would definitely recommend if wanting to go somewhere with good quality but does have a higher price range than your average but it is definitely worth it

Bought BurgerFuel from up the road for lunch yesterday. Food is a little pricey but you get a lot for what you pay for. I ordered the American muscle and fries. Fries are standard, pretty good. The burger was tasty and so so big I only ended up eating half. Overall good burger spot as you get a lot of food for what you pay for.

Food ordered:<br/>-BioFuel w Spud Fries & Aioli. Seriously soo good! So fresh, so hot. Wish I took a better angle shot cause damn it was good. The classic spud fries with aioli I couldn't think about anything better to eat on a cold rainy day than this meal. Thank you for cooking my fried egg in the burger to absolute perfection. Not too runny not too hard, just perfect.<br/><br/>-chicken fenders + motobites w Aioli. I am for sure going to order the fenders for myself next time. Super tender and juicy and seasoned really well. I didnt get a chance to try the motobites but I was told they were good Haha.<br/><br/>-Junior cheeseburger meal. Classic done really well. Good job.<br/><br/>Overall the vibes were really awesome as soon as we walked in, we were greeted by a friendly Male at the counter and he took our order promptly. We didnt wait long for our meal to come out and when it did, it came on a heated plate which is very smart! I quite like the layout of this burgerfuel. Lots of seating. Nice and clean. I am a big music fan so I enjoyed the pumping music that was going in the background. I'm not sure if older people would appreciate it just as it is a tad loud (something we cant control). Other than that. Will 100% come back. Cheers!

I think the photos speak for themselves. Great to visit a really good burger fuel establishment. Service was good and quick, burgers were all perfect, ingredients was all fresh and hot. What more can I say. Definitely recommend!

Another great feed at Burger Fuel in Massey. The burgers are always perfect with fresh ingredients and juicy beef patties or chicken breasts. Tonight the service was top notch which I’m not just saying that because we got free fries when they made an extra lot by mistake. Thank you guys, we will be back.

The service here in this particular burger fuel is poor. The lady who took the order was unfriendly and seemed to be rushing around. She is not very patient.

First time trying Burger fuel it's ok just a regular burger place tried the vegan burger it's yummy but a bit dry. Staff was friendly and kind. The store was clean and the interior was nice. there were many places to sit and the food came out in a timely manner given that it was just after lunchtime :) Recommend trying it out :)

This burger fuel is the best one I have been to in New Zealand the staff is really friend and the burgers taste really good and each component tastes really fresh and is just a delight to eat !! Also the place has been tidy every time I have been in

When at a fast food place like burger fuel you don't always expect great service but the guy here has got to be one of the friendliest staff members around. The burgers were as good as always.

A few good vegan options, I got the combustion tofu burger (without aioli) which was good but too much peanut sauce. Best kumara fries around from here though. Excellent service

I have gone to quite a few BurgerFuel's around Auckland so I have a pretty good understanding of what to expect. Me and my partner decided to pop in to this branch for a bite to eat, to which neither of us have been to before. <br/><br/>Personally I don't really like the decor in the place as it felt a bit mismatched(traditional burgerfuel fitting and a bit of the owners own taste I guess).<br/><br/>I applaud the lovely girl at the counter who gave wonderful customer service with a big smile on her face(she genuinely seemed to like her job).<br/><br/>After waiting for about ten minutes for our meals I was advised by a staff member they no longer had the macaroni bites so my burger would not include them and instead they would have onion rings inside. I really didn't mind the change but I could tell other customers really did and it was obvious their was a lack of communication between staff(a bit more notice would have been appreciated).<br/><br/>The workers seemed to be quite flustered and were not managing the amount of customers coming in.... it sadly showed in the burgers as I have never seen burgers like these come from BurgerFuel.<br/><br/>Me and my partner will be reluctant to return again

Mmm love me some Burger Fuel 😁 this is my local, which has great service and never fails to deliver a top notch burger and fries. Although I was convinced the aoli was off a couple of time u went but turns out they changed the CNcheese to truffle aoli (which tastes like crap) 😑grrr burger fuel, why you gota change on a girl.....

I had THE BEST burger of my freakin LIFE from Westgate Burgerfuel! As A vegetarian it friggin sucks trying to find SOMETHING on a "fast food" menu, so I always hit up Burgerfuel for a v-dub vege, but seriously THIS BURGER from Westgate blew my mind - I altered the burger and added peanut sauce and brie cheese and it was better than sex. Absolutely phenomenal experience here. Pauline not only has exceptional customer service, but remembered me as the customer that wanted the flamethrower. To my surprise, she even offered to make it for me, which is pretty unheard of when compared to other burger outlets. Burger Fuel also@ serve kumara chips, which alone wins my heart over. Thank you for a delicious evening!!

I was there last week , I was really disappointed: bad service and very dirty place . Staff need a lot of training . I will never return back .Not recommended

I usually enjoy BF and have eaten from several branches around Auckland. Usually they are quite good and up to their usual standard, but I've been incredibly disappointed with the burgers from Massey branch the two times I have bought from here. I decided to give it a second try after hoping my bad experience the first time was a one-off. But again, it turned out to be a disappointment. My burger was so soggy it almost disintegrated before I could finish it (and I didn't). The taste of Jalapeno was non-existent and this was the Flame Thrower burger which is supposed to be hot ("For lovers of things that are hotter than a hot thing" - really???).  Never going back to this branch.

These guys usually get it right. My only complaint is occasionally undercooked chips. The staff are great though and a few are even starting to remember my order! Bonus points to this Burger Fuel, free spud fries with a Defence Force I.D.

What is all the fuss about? This is a new store so thought we would grab some burgers for lunch. Very disappointed! The "butterfly char grill chicken" was literally 2 to 3 mm thick, almost non existent. The burger was slathered in slimy sauces and was flat and unappealing. Same with my mates vege burger, tiny thin patty and too many sauces, again it was very small and flat, didn't invite you to eat it at all. I threw most of mine away, unheard of for me.<br/><br/>The potato fries was only half full when we got them out of the bag, not even a full portion. Quite frankly this place is very poor value, very small portions. There are much better burgers from other chains out there.

Let me start by saying that I am normally a burger fuel fan. So when one opened close by and offered a reprieve from the "big chain" burger joints I was pretty keen to head in.<br/><br/>The place is as always clean and appealing and the staff (yes it was opening week) were in abundance, working hard, and doing their best to find their groove. I cannot fault them at all and with a bit more time time to settle in will do a great job.<br/> es they are pricey but if you know that going in then I don't see price as an issue.<br/>The food was served very quickly (by custom build burger benchmarks) and we headed home happy and ready to enjoy the fare.<br/><br/>Unfortunately they were "nothing special" which was disappointing as we have had great experiences from BF in the past. There was nothing wrong per see but normally you find an element of joy in a BF burger than simply was not there. They did not have the abundance of flavour we had grown to enjoy.<br/><br/>I had hoped that they would get better but just today another of the family came home bag in hand and he too was underwhelmed. Maybe we built it up too much but I don't think so. I hope that they get it right and fast.
