Review B.cafe - Auckland

There is no cafe in Auckland that can compete with these views. This is the best. We hadn't heard of it but B Cafe came up in a search for 'quiet, relaxing' cafe and it delivered on that in spades. Great coffee, delicious food and lovely owner. You should go here.

Stunning views of Auckland and the bridge, iced coffee was awesome! Great little Cafe for sitting down and taking in the scenery with different perspective. Will definitely return.

Wow this cafe is amazing! Probably the best coffee I've ever had! The selection of cabinet food and menu was excellent. The location is phenomenal! Right on the water with views of the ocean, across the harbour bridge and to the city. This cafe has excellent measures in place for social distancing while we're in the midst of Corona, it felt really safe. It's also dog friendly! This is a really gorgeous destination, with a park next door and bush walk to a look out. Even though it was raining, it didn't matter... floor to ceiling windows for uninterrupted views, even blankets should you wish to be extra cosy. On a sunny day, this would be exceptional, out on the deck! Can't recommend this cafe enough, well worth a visit, or catch the ferry across from the city and watch the America's boats practice right in front of you, or view Dolphins or Orca's!

What a view.

There was a short wait for the food as the place is often run by one person but the food was more than worth the wait. The beef burger and the pork burger had amazing flavours, and the big breaky had very generous servings. The cafe was very relaxed and peaceful with beautiful views of the habour bridge and Auckland city

The coffee is sublime

Great location on the water with a spectacular view to the city over the water. All helped by a nice sunny weekend day. Menu was good and our food was great. The people were helpful and attentive and we will return.

Great little cafe, good food and coffee. Nice to sit out on the wharf on a sunny day or inside over looking the water. Great for a quick snack and coffee while waiting for the ferry or a visit.

Visited for a second time for a Sunday brunch and it was as great as our first visit last year. Great location over the water at Birkenhead wharf in ferry building with good indoor or outdoor options. Almost hidden away and not well known. Great views over the water to the city and west really provides a great vista on a sunny day. We found the couple running the place to be very attentive and obliging. The menu is adequate and the quality of the meal presentation is almost at fine dining level. Over 2 visits we've now had the French toast, pancakes, corn fritters and smoked salmon and the food is great. Highly recommend this establishment and we will be returning.

B. Cafe is for sure underrated. Kind, easy going customer service. Delectable and elegantly presentated food. Grand view with calming sea breeze. Other customers were pleasant and welcoming. Also a waterfront playground with room to walk off the food belly awaits. Another benefit is that it wasn't too busy.<br/><br/>There's no music to listen to, the chairs and tables aren't the most fancy, it's not a huge building nor outstanding decor which prevents a 5 star rating but B.Cafe is for sure a good place to stop for coffee and/or food.<br/><br/>The thing that stood out most of to me was how calming the place was. It's not the most prestigious establishment but if you want to feel like you can unwind over a coffee with a view, B.Cafe is the place for you.<br/><br/>I definitely recommend and will return on another summer morning.

The food were all nice but the iced coffee was not even up to the standard. I let my sister sip to ask how she thinks about the taste. She said they must have forgot to put coffee in it. I also agreed. It had no coffee flavour at all, only watery taste of milk was there. I was too shy to go back and inspect about the mystery😑<br/>What I really like about this place is the layout of the eating area along the big window with a beautiful view.

Only dropped in for a coffee. Bonus for me was being able to bring my dog to sit outside which was lovely. We only ordered coffees which did take a while to make. Mine was hot and slightly bitter, Partners was cold. he should have said something but didn't as we decided to go for a walk in the park. <br/>This could be an amazing cafe based on location, especially on a sunny day. Usual cabinet food, mostly cakes and slices.

Great view & okay service.<br/><br/>My flat white made by the female staff was pretty decent. However my friend's soy flat white made by the male owner was burnt. He didn't say anything when we told him about it. Didn't seem apologetic or surprised, either.
