Review Pho Heaven - Auckland

This is our favorite restaurant. We always get the Black bean with seafood. Super yummy!! Plus the staff is super nice and friendly with a great service. I highly recommend this restaurant.

If you find yourself in Westgate with a hankering for Vietnanese spicy Phò You can't go past their P3 spicy hot and sour seafood phò soup. Absolutely delicious and very large serving. Well done xx

I really enjoyed my dinner here. The location is handy and the food came out so fast. The food portion is generous and the staff were friendly.

It was a lovely experience. It's my 2nd time coming here, and the lady is always nice and attentive. She is genuinely caring and makes sure that I am all all right. The food is also good. The presentation is lovely. Cleanliness is also good. It is well kept.

Just stop by to try some restaurants around north west and decided to try pho heaven. We ordered hot plate seafood and the seafood pho, the foods were very tasty and we enjoyed it so much. The service was good as well. Will definitely come back to try more of the menus🥰

Meal sizes are massive!! Super tasty food and our host was super friendly. Be careful of the chillis on the table, they're real and may mess up your meal if your not prepared for it.

This is an AMAZING find! We were gutted when the food court at Westgate closed down, and so happy when we found this great place! All items our family ordered were super yummy, and arrived much more quickly than expected. Generous portion sizes. We'll definitely be back!!

In all the years we have lived in the area we have never visited here. That was a mistake, we had lunch here yesterday and we surprised and pleased with the food.

Great place for a quick pho fix. The owners a super friendly and there are plenty of options to choose from. Not the most authentic pho I'll be honest but it still tastes great!

Love this little spot, always so busy and so quick! Really casual and booking isn’t required. The food is so cheap, between $12 and $20 for a main (really big portion). All the food is delicious and saucy!! The wonton soup is a must, even thought I didn’t order it this time 😊 they’ve updated the menu too to include a few Japanese dishes which is a bit strange but really yum!

I've come here three times and really enjoyed the food. Yes it is run by Koreans but the authenticity is there. Fried rice (Shrimp or Rib), pho, and Jjampong are my recommended dishes to try. I haven't had anything I didn't like. Sorry, no pictures because I was enjoying the food.

Came here for a quick lunch with friend. I was told this is a Vietnamese restaurant but surprisingly found it was run by Korean. Anyway I am satisfied with service and this place is neat and clean. We ordered a pho rice noodle soup with fried wonton and a chicken salad. I like the pho and the soup base. Wonton were fried to crisp. Chicken salad was different that the one I got from another Vietnamese restaurant but I like it too. It would be great if they can serve it with more greens. This is a good place if you are looking for noodle soup but I can't comment if they were really authentic Vietnamese food.

The meal came out without a long wait. Every dishes were nice and hot. The portion size was generous. The taste of the sauce in the fried noodle I ordered was overall sweet for me.<br/>The service was nice and polite.<br/>My freind who ordered the pho soup said the taste is just right, not too salty.<br/>The fried chicken were thin pieces, but the fried outside coating was really crunchy and nice with the sauce provided.

I don’t understand why they have somebody with poor English comprehension answering the phone. Very inconvenient. No coriander doesn’t mean extra coriander, three is not two, it’s three. One, two, three! How hard is that? Also, if the customer is running a little late, the last thing you do is berate them. Who do you think you are, exactly? We are literally buying your food! A little respect and appreciation would go a long way. A shame because the food itself is decent.

This is the second time this restuarant has completely screwed our order up! We rang and ordered our dishes and had asked for a few dishes to exclude coriander. SO WHAT DID THEY DO? ADDED MORE CORIANDER. We ordered 3 x R4 and they only gave 2!!!! They said the meals will be done in 20 minutes which was great! However the person rang us 20 minutes on the dot and asked where we were. We explained someone was picking the order up after work and was on their way. I was the one to pick the order up but I had finished work late. Again I was QUESTIONED why I was late, like a goddamn interrogation. I not only explained ONCE BUT TWICE that I had just finished work. Perhaps get your customers orders right before scolding them!! Or get someone who can write and re-read the order back without misinterpreting. This was poor service!!!

Basic establishment but clean. Service was friendly and efficient. Food came out at an acceptable time frame, appetizers came out very quickly. Very fresh wontons, we enjoyed them. The pho came in a huge bowl! Impressed with serving size and pricing. Fried chicken that came with the plain pho was tasty, the pho itself was nice, a little bland but still enjoyable. The seafood pho was nice too, generous amounts of various seafood included. The lemon chicken was different, enjoyable but a bit too sweet and sticky. Will definitely come again.

Came here for lunch and ordered the pho with beef. Soup tasted bland and is not as fragrant as all the other ones I have had before. Would not come here for authentic Vietnamese food.

Worst Vietnamese noodle I ever had. I had pork noodle soup. Pork was extremely rubbery and smelt really bad. The soup itself was very bland - had to pour red sauce to make it taste better. I came here about 2 years ago and had great food under a different owner.

Great food,really fresh and large servings for a reasonable price. Have been here a number of times and it's always good. Yes, it looks pretty basic but the food is great, especially for the price!

A place I like to go after or before a good movie.  It's like entering your own house, it's homely, both the service and the food.   It's a nice choice if you want something lighter for the night.

This little Vietnamese restaurant offers big flavour! I enjoyed their Beef Egg Noodle Nest and BBQ pork on rice. They also offer really yummy fish meals and serving is really good! When you're around Massey, I would definitely recommend trying Pho Heaven.

A small restaurant but Food was very nice and fresh.clean and tidy and polite staff too. We had our newborn with us at the time and was a bit hard to have a pram in there and no baby changing table in their toilets made it a bit awkward.

Clean, subtle and pure - that's how we'd describe the pho here. The soup is not that potent compared to a lot of other pho places. Their chicken vermicelli has a unique twist, which I quite enjoy. <br/>

One of the best Vietnamese restaurants around. Their prawn salad rolls delicious. Their chicken black bean on sizzling platter always a delight. Tried the stir fried chicken on fried rice tonight was great. Service always fast and meals hot. Very reasonably priced for a family outing.

My go to for comfort food especially during winter. Have tried almost their entire menu and can definitely say the food are always good. The place seems to be a family run business so the wait could sometime be long when they are busy which they always are.

I loved it. I agree that the decor wasn't much to sneeze at but we too saw steam boat and instantly regretted what we ordered. But what we got was just as good looking and yummy as. Def going back.

Pretty yam dishes they served,, especially rice dish manus and Vietnamese pork tang-soo are really tasty! Good place for simple eat out. Highly recommended.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS: nothing exciting about the interior although it was hard not to stare at the impressive steamboat dish on one of the tables! <br/><br/>FOOD: the menu was a tad tricky to navigate but we decided on the shared platter to start with. All the pieces tasted good but just seemed to lack the delicate tastes typically associated with Vietnamese cooking. <br/><br/>For my main I had the chicken served with vermicelli and salad. The chicken was tasty but had too much garlic (had to remove a few slices!). The vermicelli and veges were well cooked and presented but again the delicate tastes seemed to be missing. <br/><br/>SERVICE: friendly and low fuss.

First time I have tried this restaurant. Greeted with nice service, clean place and the dish had nice flavours. Possibly needed bit more meat like other similar places but other than that I would go and eat again as it was yummy:)

I love Vietnamese food so this was a no brainer after a movie. The service was very good, the hosts extremely polite and it didn't take long for our vermicelli chicken, vermicelli seafood, pork on rice and the mixed platter which should have arrived earlier than the main dishes. All four dishes on a small table a bit crowded...<br/>Tonight the small restaurant was full and to make it worse it was also filled with screaming little people who were left to wander and continue screaming. So we gobbled our grub and split before we went mad.<br/>Hubby wasn't that impressed probably the screaming children ruined it for him. For me I've tasted better Vietnamese.<br/>

Good service, food...NO. For a place that specialises in noodle soup, the broth is just too watery. Simply...its just BLAND. No real flavour to the soups. The rice dishes are ok, but not that spectacular either. WIth so many vietnamese restaurants in Auckland, can't really recommend this one. Pass.

I have been to this place several times.  I quite like the food.  It's simple but tasty.<br/><br/>The restaurant is not a big one and it's quite private, usually not too crowded.  So you can have a conversation with your friends.  Hygiene is normal and acceptable.  The place is convenient.  There are many car parks.  If you are lucky you can get one right in front of the restaurant.  The service is good,  They are friendly and personal.  Pricing is reasonable and size is acceptable.  <br/><br/>If you are in for a simple meal I recommend this place.

If only the food was as good as the service. Prompt service and all though the food didn't taste bad it was just lacking in flavour, both my wife and I had different pho dishes, mine the P4 spicy which had plenty of heat but no other real taste apart from that. My wife had the BBQ pork and although well presented the stock was very bland. As a place to go if you have kids the $10 kids meals are good value for what you get with them.

Love this place! I go every weekend when I'm in the Massey area. The best Spicy bbq pork Pho I've had and their fried chicken noodles are also just as delicious.<br/><br/>UPDATE: They have changed the recipe for the Pho, it's not as delicious as it was before. But it is still be better than other Vietnamese restaurants I've been to. Still in my top 3 and it's still my regular spot.

A Vietnamese restaurant owned by Koreans. Everything is written in Korean also.<br/>Food was very average. Soupy noodles were VERY bland and tasted like dishwater. Everything else was pretty average too. <br/>The people were polite but that's about the only good thing I have to say about the place. Prices would be good if the food was good. Therefore it's overpriced too. <br/>Never going there again. Waste of $50.

Love this place!! Food is delicious and reasonably priced, although be careful with phone orders! they're done by letter and number system, I made an order and they got it wrong making a $13 meal a $32 one! the food was still amazing though!<br/><br/>Highly recommend this place!

The food at this restaurant was bland.<br/>Possibly food also contained MSG.<br/>A small place where noise seems be quite disruptive.<br/>On the plus side, good pricing and good quantities.<br/>Unfortunately, I for the reasons above I do not recommend.
