Braved the rain to enjoy breakfast here today. Love the new look. Great value, good choices both GF and vegan options. Will definitely be back. Wishing the new owners lots of success

I had a delicious refreshing Kokoda (raw fish in coconut) for lunch just now. Coffee was fine and arrived in good time. Looking forward to returning.

First time here but man it was delicious! Scrambled eggs and grain toast was a great combo, the Rosti was crunchy and well you really can't go wrong with potato. The Vegan Chocolate Berry Cheese Cheesecake slice was the bomb. Nice ice latte hit the right spot.

Has a great range and some interesting products and some reasonable prices. Some stuff is very expensive and the ambience is a bit stark, but a nice store with a cafe.

Cafe is now under new management and very impressed! Had a lovely coffee + croissant and will be back to try the menu items. Friendly team, spacious and clean šŸ™‚

Came here for a Sunday vegan breakfast and was not disappointed! Couple of vegan tofu wraps, vegan and gluten free salads and a vegan blueberry muffin! Iā€™m so taken away by the options and how healthy everything was:D Staff were so viby and patient with my sleepy zombie self lol! I will totally come back for the breakfast and the muffins! 10/10!

Amazing vibe. The kids loved their Koko Samoa Milkshake. Kokoda (Raw Fish) was perfect with the Cassava chips. So delicious šŸ¤¤šŸ˜‹. And a great Whānau Service to compliment the visit.

Great customer service especially to the islander lady that greeted me with the sweetest smile and help above and beyond her duties. The place looks so nice, clean and spacious.

Good place for all your Vegan groceries and huge collection of organic food! Bit pricy (expensive) but good place to buy it all from here. Yellow watermelon bit novelty for me

The cafe is decent. Mocha and chai latte were good. Vegetarian options are good.
The salad was good, had a nice fennel kick to it. The quesidilla was average. Bit salty.
Staff were nice

Overall a very pleasant experience each time I visit with my family. Good selection of healthy food to choose from and eating healthy food is very beneficial for our health which is an added bonus!

Amazing cafe with the freshest organic food! Also has lots of vegan options in the cabinet which is a big bonus šŸ˜Š

I have always come to Huckleberry for delicious wholefoods that suit my dietary needs. I was so excited that there was an option of pancakes that fit this criteria. However, when they arrived they were really dry and you needed to have berries with every bite. In the end I was only able to eat half of what I ordered, as it became too hard to eat. The cabinet food, however, looked amazing and I would love to come back to try something different

Been to this cafe a long time ago and was surprised it now has a different name. Had jackfruit sandwich from the cabinet. Flavour was nice and tomato-y. It came with some complementary salad too! Didn't have coffee so can't comment on that. All in all quite a pleasant experience to revisit this place. Thank you for keeping the wide range of plant based options for us. :)

Stunning wooden interior with space allocated for children to enjoy their time. I has very looking forward to their coffee here but I did find some unusual material in my coffee.. Something gooey and a few vegetable-like material in my beverage.. Wasnā€™t happy with this at all..:(

Tried the warm Buddha bowl. Nice combination of flavour and filling as well. Would go back again if Iā€™m craving salad type food. Service was slower than I expected but might have been a bit busy that day.

I donā€™t know since when the vegetarian diet included eating eggs but you just gotta watch out for the food that isnā€™t labelled as vegan.

I took my 10 year old lad here for a lunch date. I choose two salads while he had the bbq bun toasted. We split an apple pie shake & a caramel slice. Everything tasted great! Love that everything was vegan. My salad was amazing. Picked through it trying to identify ingredients so I could recreate it at home- thatā€™s a sure sign I love a meal haha. Thanks again team šŸ˜šŸ‘

This is one of my go to places for vegan and organic foods in West. I ordered the warm Buddha bowl, generous portion with full of goodness- spiced chick peas, kumara and some sort of purplish rice with pickles. The other dish was a combination salad prepared earlier. Mango cheesecake was a perfect finish, not too sweet or creamy but a smooth blend of only mango! It wouldā€™ve been nice if they had their fireplace going as they normally do. It was very wet and cold day and experience wouldā€™ve been nicer with the extra toasty warmth.

Service is not very good. Extremely slow. To take a muffin from the counter top and heat it got 20 seconds, we have to normally wait 15mins. The glasses for water is disgusting. Not sure if they are ever washed.

Not much choice of food. Any food you order takes forever. Food is bland and dry. They really need to up their ante on the service, cleanliness and most definitely menu.

Love coming here always knowing weā€™ll leave satisfied with a wholesome flavoured pallet and the gratification of food thatā€™s actually good for your body and soul. Staff and service are always great. Today i had the seeded loaf and despite there was no avocado replaced with -a delish smoked salmon as a topping I was slightly let down with some of the other ingredients mentioned, being absent. One of the primary reasons I ordered this wasnā€™t for the avo although avo is great I missed the fresh taste of coriander and the twist of sauerkraut. The seared loaf was the highlight. I hope next time I order this dish thereā€™s all the ingredients mentioned. Recommend fun friendly family eatery. Try it you wonā€™t be disappointed.

Menu needs updating.

I am really keen to support this cafe as there's not much choice at the healthy end of the market out west.

However, I had a disappointing experience; ordered the salmon with roasted vegetables, rocket and asparagus and a green tea. My salmon was cooked perfectly, but there was no roasted veg, rocket or asparagus, instead, it was a stir fry of nightshade veggies - capsicum, aubergine, tomato plus onion and bok choy. I cannot eat nightshade and if I had known I certainly would not have ordered this dish.

My green tea was stewed and bitter, there was way too much loose leaf tea in the teapot and by the time I received it, it was undrinkable.

Very loud music there that day, so I took myself outside, and still, it was overly loud. : (

Went here today... first time. Service was appalling. We had to ask at counter everytime for our drinks.mains and desserts. They even kept getting our order wrong.. very frustrating. Food was nothing to rave about.. They need to organize their order of service... not waiting 20-30 minutes for meals that were already prepared in their cabinets. Do not think we will be returning?

I love it here, the food is soo good, the coffee can be good, depends on the barista whos on that day, smoothies are bomb. We've been here a few times and have tried almost everything vegan on they're menu and have been impressed everytime.
Went here for lunch with my husband and son and we won't be returning. Husband's food was salty and burnt. Son described his potato rosti with poached eggs and coconut bacon as tasteless. I can't comment on my food as it never arrived. Husband also had to ask where his tea was. I wasn't bothered about the lack of food as it looked unappetising anyway. I had a decaf flat white with trim milk which was fine.

My sister and I had brunch here one Friday morning. The ambiance was simple and spacious. They have a range of healthy options. My sister ordered the beef burger and it was a big serving. I ordered the Portobello Mushrooms with eggs and it was delight, the coconut bacon was a lovely surprise in my taste buds. Both of us ordered Mochaccino and it was pretty standard. Maybe we'll be back to try other options on the menu....

First time coming here for lunch yesterday. I ordered the healthy bowl and liver cleanse juice. The juice was delicious! The meal wasn't amazing, it had a lot of different flavours and everything was all spread out separately so was a bit difficult to mix together. But I still enjoyed it. The kumara chips were awesome! I love that it's connected to the health store, went for a wander through after our meal and got some goodies from there

I'm going to go ahead and say that this is the most generous avocado smash in Auckland. Been here a few times and its consistently good. Staff are decent, environment is nothing special, its connected to a small health food/ organic(?) shop. Nice healthy salad options, egg bakes and yummy cabinet options. Parking is easy. Definitely worth a whirl.

Dicovered this place when looming for somewhere to eat for breakfast with flattie and mate. We were looking for something healthier with an energy boost.
This place was it.
The food was amazing and the salad options were soooo cheap considering how filling it was.

Have been comming more regularly and i love the beef burger (sometimes the cheese can be quiet over powering though)

Take note, if you are looking for salad for lunch dyring the work week its first one first serve before you miss out

The kumera chips are filling. Love taking my work mates here for lunch.

Ambience allows for decent duscussion and the space is good. Can be a little too hot on warm days but there is an outdoor option.

Water is warm and sonetimes the cups aren't cleaned properly but ither than that is fine.

Is it worth it?
Definately.
