Yes, the decor is really lovely and there's easy entry for wheel chairs etc on groundfloor of the Mall. However I stared at the cabinet and was unimpressed. My friend enjoyed his (wrapped) sandwich and Lamington but my egg and bacon bagel and tiny slice of lemon tart were disappointing. Side salad was ok. I asked for some cream, it was from a can and the hot choc similarly light.

Great food!!!! Huge portions for the price (we ordered a couple mains and split between the group and only paid ~$20 each for a good variety of food). Also super friendly staff!

Very modern and bright cafe in Takapuna mall. The menu has one of the best tea selections i have seen in awhile (well done). Staff are friendly and efficient and seem well in control. Meals from kitchen came quickly and well presented and as well as tasting great. Would recommend this place for sure.

Food and drinks are amazing!! I highly recommend their date scones if you live scones ! I have tried almost all their flavours of tea so good the breakfast is tasty and the hot chocolate tastes like chocolate they don't use the cheap stuff. The staff are super friendly too felt welcome every time.

Just had hot chocolate & coffee very good my husband said it was the best hot chocolate he ever had & he's 70. Will try the food on our next visit as it look delicious

Loved the hot chocolates! You could definitely taste the real chocolate, would recommend the hazelnut one for all the Nutella fans out there! Food was good and well priced. Will be returning :)

Such a nice breakfast before a busy day. This cafe is buzzing and the team went out of their way to care for the customers and keep the food and drinks coming. I had eggs on toast with some extra bacon and sausage and it was divine! Loved my coffee too!

Came here late last year to film something for my school work, and the owner was so damn nice! I had emailed him previously and told him what we were planning to do, and he was happy to help. We needed tea for the shoot and so they provided, but they didn't make us pay a single cent for it! This really shows how caring some people can be!

Great Tea shop in shore city mall. Great and interesting selection of Teas. The coffee is good as well. I had the Carbonara which was a good portion for the price. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice and clean with a relaxing atmosphere. Will visit again.

Great ambiance and good service
Always good to go here although I live in Epsom but due to good service, friendly staff, Simply great food and today when I went with my daughter for father's Day in advance it was a pleasant surprise to see all female staff including the kitchen was run by them.
In my life span I have never come accros such an effort put in by the owner to believe in them.
Please keep it up and gent's you have a strong challenge now.

Experience was great!! The chocolate waffle and the mango frappe were delicious, especially the waffle. There are some reviewers who had a bad experience due to poor service but I think that has changed because every staff member was polite and very attentive today.

Damn bit of a let down. Came here with my family for afternoon tea. i got a pink macaron which looked super cute but the purple icing inside tasted like playdough gross. My parents shared a custard slice which they said was alright. My brother got an iced chocolate which he said was eah ok. My mum ordered an english breakfast tea and it was the last thing to come out and considering it's a 'Tea Bar' you would think they'd be ontop with the tea's but no we waited ages for her tea and only for her to be disappointed with it :(( The place itself is fairly basic I don't know why the staff are in a full on uniform haha wasn't aware this was a chain restaurant. The Tea Bar is pretty much in a food court and right next to the public bathrooms. It just ain't it, won't come back. x

The customer service is very bad here and the food is okay (nothing amazing). I come here for their salads as the portions are good but nothing special about them. The customer service sucks and the girls who work here are so rude.

There are so many cafeterias in Auckland but a few really stand out. Majestic Tea Bar is my latest discovery in Takapuna. It Is located Inside the city mall, on a very trendy new food area, has a very beautiful environment, lovely menu and great service. In addition They have a good selection of yummy little chocolates and their cappuccino is one of the best I have ever had in Auckland. <br/><br/>If I was living in Takapuna this would be my place to go if I wanted a simple but well presented and amazing meal. <br/><br/>Would definitely return back. <br/>

Popped into the Majestic Tea Bar with Mum and my sisters today and had a beautiful lunch. A great selection of both cabinet and menu food, lovely coffee and an amazing variety of teas - every flavour you could think of. Atmosphere was fresh and clean and friendly staff. And also a lovely selection of gifts to purchase for tea and coffee lovers. Would definitely recommend and I will visit again.

Came in for a coffee with Mum and she had a Latte and I got a peppermint tea and they were just your average hot beverages and then we got a carrot cake to share and it was nice but a little dry on the outsides so I guess it was sitting there for a bit but it was still nice and Majestic Tea Bar is good to pop in for a coffee & cake but not sure about the meals. Ambience is nice and modern as-well. Recommend :)

Tea is fantastic in this place, coffee is average, service is good, very elegant dining environment.<br/>But the dishes are below average, want to try the waffle next time.

I had been waiting for the majestic to open with its distinct look. This branch is quite small but staff are very friendly. The mocha was awesome. You could taste the Belgium chocolate and the citrus tart was lovely, would have been nice with a side of cream or natural yogurt. My daughter had the bacon tart which came with a side salad. Downside is the cost, slightly pricey but I'd go back.

So stoked that the Majestic Tea Bar is on the shore! Had such great experiences at the Northwest one so I knew Taka wouldn’t be any different! <br/><br/>The decor is gorgeous, very clean but still has a nice green element, definitely a cute place to Instagram <br/><br/>I ordered an Ice Chocolate and it was great! It had ice cream and chocolate sauce and it hit the sweet spot. Will be back to try other items on the menu!
