Best Chicken Wings Out Onehunga and surrounding areas, all three flavours are great especially the curry wings (photo), Juicy and succulent everytime and hardly or ever dry. The burgers here are generous with their portions & the fish is always battered to perfection & the fries are always salted perfectly! everything is always fried till their just the right crunchy! My go to always ✨☺️ + reasonably priced considering its in central auckland, you can feed the whole family for less than what you pay for a bucket of chicken at other places 👀

Awesome service, the young lady serving me was very pleasant. The food is delicious, it's is by far the best place to go for takeaway, quick and reliable service high standard of food. Ive been going here for a number of years far better than the other takeaway there. I strongly recommend their menu, it has a great selection of Chinese and European food.

Nice little shop, received good customer service. The food tasted well apart from the broccoli and cauliflower had a weird off taste to it but overall was good, thank you.

Try their spicy wings, and also the Combination Fried rice. It's the best.

When the food arrived it was very good and tasty. The let down was ordering thru MenuLog. Although the order was picked up in good time it took the delivery person over an hour to get from Onehuna to Mt Eden.

Had fish and chips and they were great. Small takeaway but lovely service. The lady serviced us was very welcoming. Recommended us try spicy chicken and it was really nice. Will definitely visit again.

The WINGS... Just WOW! For such an unassuming little take-out place the Wings Lucky Wok produce punch well above what you'd expect - dare I say the best in Auckland! I stumbled the place around 5 weeks ago, and have been coming back at least once a week since. HIGHLY RATED! My recommendation is either their curried or spicy Wings...

This is one of the nicest takeaway that I've ever had, the food is amazing, They have the best chicken wings in auckland, compared to all the other takeaway places, they offer different flavors which they got the curry and spicy chicken wings and its fr so good and not too oily either, as well as the pricing there is really nice is well. All the dishes tastes good but the steak soft noodles is one of my favorite, especially if you ask it to be made mild spicy, it adds more of a flavor. However i had a bit of a confusion with the takeaway next door when I made the phone order, Lucky Wok is the store with the light blue paint and its a actual store not a food bar, lucky wok is the store with benches inside to dine in, not the food bar next door. Overall this store is amazing and I would def recommend going there especially for workers near by on a budget.

I love their Spicy Wings 🥰 🔥 if you are looking for a spicy chicken wings then this is the place to be. They have other options there that are very yummy like the chilli chicken on rice, and peanut satay stir fry chicken. I also love the customer service. She was very nice and friendly making sure we enjoy our meal and making rapport. 5/5 for me 👍🙏

I have never enjoyed Chinese food like their takeaway LUCKY WOK. Simply love the fact that they are open till late and close by to my place and I wish I could try the whole menu. Wow, the patience they have to cook such yummy food just for a takeaway in a very short time. My First time, being new to Onehunga and it was closing time, I was super hungry and Jodie was super sweet in making something last minute for us, when I opened the box I was amazed at the quantity of the fried rice and it smelled good. My best friend and I, enjoyed our first Chinese food in Auckland.The quantity of Chicken Noodles, Any Fried Rice is filing for 2 people, not to forget Yummy Fish and Chips & Sandwiches, Delicious Samosas & Spring rolls. They have amazing offers and I could just go on and on, but everyone have their own tastes so I suggest you should check this place out. Hats off Jodie & Family!!!

Have boycotted this place.  Ordered 36 wings and got charged individually because I did not ask for 3 dozen to get the "wall" special.  So the next time I call and ask for 2 doz wings and I get asked how many did I want, I reply 2 doz. Then I get asked, so how many is that, and I say, you tell me. What is a doz and she says 13???... So now my question is, if I order 3 doz I'm going to get 39 wings??.... HIghly unlikely.....That means they can't count?? I'm suprised anyone gets the correct change.....Their chinese food is RUBBISH !!... They should just sell burgers and chips, coz everything else is crap.  They need to go to Royal Cuisine in Royal Oak to understand what chinese food is. In fact, I recommend EVERYONE go to ROYAL CUISINE and order your chinese.... they have the BEST fried rice & sweet and sour... DIVINE!!  Don't waste your time at this place.  When you order, they don't even make suggestion to save you a bit... they are just ripping people off. I will need to get Consumers Institute to check them out when I get back.

Love this place! By far one of my favourite takeaway shops. It is a must visit if you live around Onehunga. Best chicken chow mein in auckland!

Been here a few times when I'm in Onehunga and the food always taste great! Prices are worth the meals and they have awesome specials on. The staff are suuuper friendly! One of the best takeaways in the area. Wouldn't go anywhere else, if you want great food for fraction of the price, then definitely go here. Will be back, thanks Lucky Wok!

Was warned about a 40min wait, which was fine, however ended up waiting 50mins for my food. I ordered curry wings and pork fried rice, instead of getting curry wings like I ordered, i was given normal wings. Food is ok but getting exactly what I ordered wouldve been nice. First and last time going here.

This place is great and is open a little later than most takeaways which is a bonus. Service is friendly, fast and efficient. Always order the curry chicken wings which is so tasty and also all their burgers are freshly made and taste so yummy. Love that they put fried onions in the egg burger!! Highly recommended

Really friendly service however the last order I made from here tasted quite bland, especially for take away food. I had purchased food for some friends who had come over and unfortunately the food tasted quite unpleasant. The noodles were dry and rubbery. The lemon chicken is simply some chicken bits with some lemon syrup sauce.

This 3-star rating is for the 18 pieces nibbles we had last Friday; half were curry and the other half were normal nibbles. The curry flavor was strong. Both type of nibbles have thick crunchy coating/breading and also have drier meat. The more you eat both type of nibbles, the saltier they tasted.

Literally my favourite takeouts in Auckland. Travel from just about anywhere in the city to grab a quick dinner because they’re THAT good, even though I live 5 mins away. I call up to order and every time the food is fresh out of the fryer as soon as I get there. Highly recommend 👍🏽 Regular customer appreciation 😊

Highly recommended! Awesome food at a great price, and wonderful friendly service! My personal favourite item is the no. 1 fish and chip special. This has become my go-to place in Onehunga to grab a bite.

I'm a regular customer and love the wide range of products on offer, big fan of their chicken wings and also love the large portion sizes given. They also have the best hot chips in Auckland in my opinion, very clean oil and an A grade certificate. Highly recommend for lunch or dinner

Good for midweek takeaways. Their fried rices are generous portions. One serving is rather large and could easily feed two people. Also other takeaways foods like fish and chips available.

Great service pretty fast too even when it's so busy especially Sundays when families finish church always come here for curry wings and some chips soooo gooood and well cooked too

Been going here for hot chips ever since we moved to Royal Oak from South Auckland. It is the only takeaway we have been to around here that has chips with a decent crunch and aren't dry. <br/><br/>- Food is consistent and is always as we remember it. <br/>- Service is my favourite part about this place. Service at this place goes from great to not so good. A few weeks ago i went in and placed an order and the girl told me they were very busy and my order could take at least 20 minutes. I was appreciative of being informed and it is something that sets them apart because most other fast food shops would not do that.<br/><br/>However, today I made a telephone order, which happened to be the same as a few weeks ago so i knew the cost. When i went to collect it they tried to overcharge me for 6 mussels using an excuse only a new customer would accept. Then had the audacity to tell me i had placed the wrong order. I ordered special number 4 and they charged me $6-80 when last time i paid $6-50 and that is what the website still shows as the price. It only causes confusion and bad feeling when you update your printed menus and your shop menus but do not update your website menus at the same time. And it only makes it worse when you try and tell the customer they have made a mistake when they haven't. From hero to zero in less than 1 minute.

Old owners made it the takeaway to go to, Nice burgers good all round food. Now it seems theres not much love that goes into making the food however it is not as bad still a great place to go to.

Gonna be half on this , as the price was decent but the food was questionable, ordered a fried rice which was burnt and very dry and the only thing saving it was the chop suey which had good flavor. Ordered the cheesy chips but it just seemed like fried chips thrown together covered in sauce.

Staff are friendly and prompt - often quite busy but they are working as fast as they can with a smile. Good local takeaway with the usual large selection.

Staff were very friendly and helpful when I was asking bout gluten free and vegetarian options for my friend . Prices are quite cheap and portion sizes are great.tried the cheesy weesy chips , so good, must try. I usually phone order in because I'm based in Mt Roskill so once I arrive , the food is already ready for me to take home

Always a Favourite of ours after we used to go to swimming. The takeaways here have changed over the years, with owners coming and going, but the food usually remains the same.

Yum! Good chips, great fish. Super yum chicken curry wings! I eat here around once a month. Fast and excellent service. Around 10mins max to wait for order. Awesome!

Im a regular at this shop because I love their chinese food.great food with great low prices.the sweet and sour pork is nice and crispy because they separate the sauce so it doesnt go soggy.also love their fried rice, its not dry like some places in mt roskill.haven't tried their fish and chips because I dont like deep fried food so I can't comment on that.

Huge menu, friendly staff that speak English well lol. So many cheap deals, can get dinner for just $5.50. Also lots of vegetarian options. Food was great plus they catered to my specific taste when I asked for extra spicy and to make sure it was gluten free. Disappointed that they don't do delivery.

Always loved nasi goreng at Lucky Wok. Have been buying there for years. Brought some today 29/12/2013 and it was terrible. Wet mushy rich with no spice and flavourless meat and veg. Can't eat it . What happened?
