Review Market Seafood Brasserie - Auckland

Didn’t think too much of this place while browsing the outlets to eat from, but this place stood out because they had a crayfish special posted up, which I don’t think is on the menu. So we decided to give it a try. Instant regret when we finished the crayfish as it was deliciously bbq’d and very tasty! The freshness was obvious and the wanted more! So we went back a second day and had the whole crayfish this time! We also ordered the garlic prawns and they were perfectly cooked too and very tasty. We had 3 the first time, but had to go for the 6 the next time. Can be pricey, but crayfish is worth it if cooked right and fresh. Also comes with a side of fries and salad @ no extra cost.

Nice spot at the Auckland Fish Markets for a casual feed. Seafood was tasty and fresh!

Organised Q. Quick order & payment. Wait till your order buzzer calls to collect your order. Scan QR code for beer orders & online payment. Fresh fish in beer batter crispy coatings. Crunchy on outside & steaming white fish inside. Batter is tasteless & goes well with tar tar sauce. Squeeze lemon on batter for a zingy taste. Reasonable portion of fried fries. Eat with local small birds seeking your crumbs sharing. Nice atmosphere due to overhead panel heating. Free 1 hour car park

Quick and friendly staff. Ordered a chicken burger. It was nice and crispy and full of flavour. It was not a huge portion but it was the right size for a burger with chips. Btw, chips were hot and well seasoned, too.

Was expecting a typical fish & chips, but was pleasantly surprised. Upon eating, it was obvious the fish was not a basa (it was apparently trevally), and the chips were cut up potato strips. Though the portion was just OK, this would be one of the better fish & chips shops i've ever visited, and I won't hesitate to return.

Went for a work team lunch at Market Galley for some fish and chips. We ordered Snapper, Gurnard with chips and they tasted fresh and delicious. Nice lunch atmosphere too sitting outside on a nice sunny winter/spring day.
