busy busy place! the food isn’t as cheap compared to other chinese restaurants near corinthian dr but it’s because the portion sizes are HUGE here. for 2, we ordered pork & chinese cabbage fried dumplings (it’s 20 pieces!), guobaorou and potato salad on the side with 2 rice bowls. we could not finish it all as the portion sizes were so big, it was more like 4 people servings in total. it would be great value if you come as a big group or share amongst friends. tables were filled very quickly around 6:30pm on a wednesday so if you come during peak hours it may be hard to find a seat. the service was lovely and will definitely come back!

Tried dinner here for first time. Ordered spinach stir fry with woodear mushroom, their popular honey pork chop, kung pao chicken, steam blue cod and a few more dishes. Everything was so good, stir fry has good wok hay and the steam fish was fresh. Only thing I can complain was that they gave our fish to another table so we had to wait again. So even though they have good IT system for the restaurant, but they dont use it as well. But overall, the chinese dishes here is one of the best in Auckland. Was craving for a dumplings meal and this place did not disappoint. Price are reasonable here and they are generous with the sauces. Pot sticker was my favourite, nicely crisp and juicy filling. The boiled dumplings was just as good. Chili sauce that they use have a smokey flavour which goes well with a little bit of vinegar. We also tried their potato salad, it was huge portion and tasted very good. Definitely will come back to this one.

Love this place! We are huge fans and regularly eat here! Steamed pork & prawn dumplings, Spicy chicken wings and Shanghai Bok choy with mushroom are on regular repeat for us. Weither you dine in or takeaway the food is always fresh and delicious. Highly recommend.

I’ve been here at least 15 times, and I adore the cuisine every time. Shanghai bok choy with mushrooms, spicy chicken and pork chives, and shrimp dumplings (steamed) are on incredible. You won’t regret eating here!

The moment I walked in I thought this place looked clean and the menus were showing some very tasty looking food. We ordered a generous number of dishes and really enjoyed most of them!! Highlights would have to be the 'Sauteed Beef with Chili' and the 'Braised Green Beans & Eggplant in Soy Sauce'. The only dish that was somewhat average in my opinion was the 'Crispy Sweet & Sour Pork' but that might be my opinion. The sauce was just a bit too strong. The tea also was not too strong... Nevertheless I ate a lot and we all left very satisfied! Would highly recommend.

Be aware of the hotness before eating! The restaurant itself is really stunning and really busy during dinner time. It’s a bit pricy for dumplings but it‘s worthy!

Always craving their dumplings! My family and I’s favourite Asian restaurant to go to. We are kiwis but still love the environment and feel comfortable to come to this restaurant. Lovely staff, nice presentation and store decor. Thankyou for your great service!

Walking into this restaurant had the best feeling. It's bright, spacious and clean. The kitchen is open and the chefs wear hair caps and gloves. The dumplings were amazing, portions are generous and prices reasonable. I look forward to eating here again.

Dumplings here are pricy but totally worth it. We got pan fried pork and cabbage dumplings and the meat was juicy and the dough was soft and crispy! Highly recommend! Also got the crispy “sweet and sour pork” its mostly sweet would like it more balanced! But crispy as! Shredded potato salad is served cold and is a great appetizer or a side salady dish!

didn’t appreciate that their menus on their windows were outdated by a month because my order ended up costing a few dollars more. but the food was decent. the kung pao chicken was lacking flavour but the pork things were good. nice atmosphere and friendly staff.

Found this place by chance and decided to give it a go. We were not disappointed! Our order was ready really fast and delicious! We and our friends wanted to try different meals and shared and all of them were really tasty. Recommended! We definitely are coming back. Also, the place looks nice.

Portions were large and price was pretty good. Good space for larger groups and was very clean. Staffs were quick and food came quick. The pan-fried dumplings were just okay... the steam ones were yummy and soft.

We got pork and chives dumplings and beef noodle soup. The dumplings were actually called pork, chives and prawn on the menu but we were able to just request for pork and chives. The beef noodle soup might be a bit bland to some people who prefer stronger flavors but it was just nice for my friend and I. Dumplings were delicious and it was bite size. :) Very affordable. Looking forward to returning and trying their other dishes.

We love Yue's! We come here regularly for our dumpling fix. Juicy, flavourful and tasty dumplings, always fresh. We also love the mixed vegetable and bean curd salad, and the slow cooked pork and cabbage with glass noodles in brown sauce. Absolutely delicious. A wonderful, affordable treat meal out.

Ordered the shrimp dumplings and lamb stew. The dumplings came out quickly but the stew came out half an hour after the dumplings were done. Was not a good experience.

Dumplings are so tasty, service is fast and I really like all the dishes I’ve tried so far. Eggplant stir fry is so delicious, vegetable with peanut salad is fresh, crunchy and full of flavour. Price is great for the portions and quality. Highly recommend!

This is one of my favourite dumpling restaurants in the town. I have been here several times. Today came with some friends. We ordered courgette shrimp, beef onions, lamb coriander and pork fennel dumplings with a dough drop soup. They are delicious as always.

The beef & onion dumpling was good, but the seafood dumplings tasted better. <br/><br/>Both the boiled and pan fried dumplings tasted excellent. The boiled skin has a soft and elastic texture. The boiled dumplings are a healthier option but if you prefer a bit of crunchiness I recommend the pan fried dumplings.<br/><br/>The soup was nice but heavily spiced. The dumplings are one of the best in the North Shore, hand made and so many different varieties. Excellent original Chinese food too, not one of those fake western style of Chinese food. We will definitely recommend this place to all of our friends

My friends recommended me to this place. I am so disappointed. The taste of dumpling is really soso. My dumplings became a weird flavor because they boiled different flavors in one pot of water. And the dumplings were over cooked. Many were broken and no taste. <br/>And the dish was not very good. The carrot tasted a little bit dust inside. <br/>Anyway will not go back again. And will not connect with the friend who recommend this place.

We love the dumplings here - the wrappers are. Thinned, more like the southern china/ Canton region style with very delicious fillings. Pork and cabbage, prawn chives and pork are out favs. You also must try them pan-fried - the lattice structure is beautiful to look at and eat. The hot and sour soup has lots of ingredients including wood ear, bamboo shoots, soy bean shreds and tofu cubes. Got to go back and try more dishes

The first time my friends and I came here, we all loved it! The food and service was great. But man the second time round.. where do I even start?!! I was craving dumplings one day and I called Yue’s for a takeaway order so by the time I get there, I just had to pick it up and go. The lady that picked up sounded very confused from the moment she said hello. Usually restaurants will say “hello, this is such and such restaurant”. But the lady was literally just like “hello???” which sounded like I wasn’t even talking to someone at Yue’s Kitchen. I had to double check that I was calling the right place. Anyways, I asked her if I can order their 20 pan fried dumplings for takeaway and I asked her what the pick up time was and she said 15 minutes. Okay cool. When I came to pick up my order, the place said they were closed. What the?! But when I looked inside, they were serving a massive family and these other two friends. I approached the guy at the checkout table and he looked at me weirdly and said that they were closed. So I explained to him that one of the workers here took my order and said it would be ready in 15 minutes. The guy just ignored me as he was serving another customer so another lady, who looked like the owner handed me the menu and asked what I wanted. Soooo frustrating as I had to wait 20 minutes which is what I was avoiding. No one apologised to me and acted like my call didn’t even exist? So thrown off by their service. Will not be coming back here.

We frequent the place across but decided to try something new. <br/><br/>awesome friendly staff and quick service. Food tasty and servings are for sharing and we found that out when they started to put our food on the table 😂😂. Let’s just say we also bought dinner for the boys. <br/><br/>I particularly liked the eggplant with a garlic sauce and the spiced tofu. My wife ordered the pork with cabbage dish and she was full of praise. We had to order the dumplings cause it was in their name. That was a simple boiled or steamed dumplings but 20 pcs for a few dollars. It wasn’t bad, tasty and not dry. <br/><br/>The pork with Yu Xiang garlic sauce disappeared in a flash with my boys. Oh well, boys are always hungry but it was quite tasty. <br/><br/>I’d go back anytime to taste others on the menu. And, lastly, place was affordable, for all the food we ordered. I’d recommend this place.

The dumplings were ok, not as good as I'd hoped. The braised meat with Chinese cabbage also had very little meat in comparison to the cabbage, and wasn't worth the price. Customer service was also pretty poor. Not really worth coming back to, considering the many other Chinese restaurants in the area.

Nice ambience and clean place. Good lighting. Service was alright. Was after some good dumplings, also ordered the gizzard but ended up quite disappointed, just did not impress.

Probably the freshest dumpling I have tasted so far. Took a while to wait, because they make it after you order. Can definitely taste the diffeence. Worth the wait.

The atmosphere is excellent and the staff are really nice, they seem to be a little understaffed though, a lot of the tables weren't cleared away until new customers arrived to fill them. I got some pickled cabbage dumplings and stir fried chicken gizzards, the dumplings were alright, small and underfilled and stuck together more than they should have, underflavoured and too much veg to meat, and too sour as well. The gizzards were excellent, if a bit oily.

We tried 'Pork and Pickled Chinese Cabbage Dumpling', 'Tofu and Preserved Egg Salad' and 'Sliced Braised Beef with Soy Sauce'.<br/>My freind and I both thought if the tofu was silky soft one, it was much better.<br/>The braised beef had a little bit dry texture, I wished it had more soft and moist texture. The Kimuchi on the side was too hot + chilly for me😲<br/>My friend could handle with the spiciness.<br/>The flavour of dumplings were too sour because of the picked cabbage but I liked the pan-fried crust between dumplings.<br/>I also liked the tea provided.

We ordered the Pork and Chinese Cabbage Dumplings (猪肉白菜馅), Beef and Onion Pan Fried Dumplings (牛肉洋葱馅煎饺) and Dry Bean Curd Salad (炝拌干豆腐).<br/><br/>The dumplings were perfectly flavourful and juicy. I’m always skeptical of ordering beef dumplings as they are known to be quite dry however the beef and onion one here was extremely juicy which was a big relief. No complaints on the bean curd salad either.<br/><br/>The interior of the restaurant was beautiful and bright, while service was extremely friendly and welcoming.

Was craving for some dumplings, what better place to start with a place that has it in its name. Ordered fried pork and celery dumplings and was given sub-par dumplings with burnt bottoms. Definitely better dumplings out there. Probably wont be back.

I was very happy of having a dumpling restaurant in Albany, and I have to say the dumplings are not bad in here.<br/><br/>The thing bothers me is, most of the dumpling choices come with a strong taste of fennel(茴香)! I don't like fennel so the only choice left for me is Sanxian dumpling (三鲜).<br/><br/>I understand that adding fennel is very common in some areas in China, but I highly doubt that they are the majority! I did a little research on my friends and most of them do not like fennel dumplings.<br/><br/>I would suggest that at least provide more options that without fennel in it, it's a win win for you and me:D<br/><br/>Peace.

A great new restaurant! The foods are delicious and reasonable price. I’m from a northern Chinese city and I’m a pretty picky person with food. And I could say with my 20 year’s food experience in my country, this restaurant, they do really traditional dumplings and other Chinese food. I’m really impressed by them. It’s my first time to try it with my bf although every time we always directly head to Eden noodles which the spicy Sichuan restaurant across the road. We ordered the pork and shrimp dumplings( I forgot the real name😂 I remembered the price is $18 with 20 dumplings.) The spicy and sour soup is mouthwatering but my bf recommend if they could put less white pepper in it( but white pepper in soup could really warm you up with the cold winter weather). The braised duck wings with special spices made me feel homesick, they’re really really traditional and not so spicy as Sichuan food. Highly recommended this clean new restaurant👌sooo good I’m proud of it!!!

The pork and chives dumplings were great! However, the prawn, egg and chives ones were undercooked so that the prawn was still raw! The attitude of staff was not satisfying, no apologies but just took it away and re-boiled.

Been there many times now. I have to say their dumpling is the freshest I ever had dinning out. Yes, the waiting time might be a little longer, but that is because they are made to order. My favourite is the chive, egg and shrimp. They really did put whole shrimp inside one dumpling. WOW!<br/>If you are a dumpling lover it is a must try.

My husband and I decided to try this place based on the good reviews as we both like dumplings and WOW. This place is a must try. For $26.50 we got 20 dumplings, rice and vegetables, and they were good veges with a big portion, enough for three people! The dumplings were super amazing, and they made them fresh! Although we did takeaway the place was nice and clean inside and the customer service great. We will be back many times, what a gem!

cam here for Sunday lunch and was happy with the results. I like that customers can see thr staffs making the dumplings in the kitchen. they have quite a range of dumplings and few side dishes so if you don't like dumplings, you might be disappointed.<br/>i ordered pan fried dumplings and one of the soups. the dumplings were nice and crispy with juicy fillings. the soup was huge and I wasn't able to finish it at all. However the soup was very soothing for cold weather.

This place is one of the Chinese place that served the nicest dumplings. Their dumplings were handmade on the spot when you ordered and you can see the chef made from from their open kitchen. Best of all, the chilli oil complimented the dumplings. If you are a fan of Chinese dumplings, this is the right place.

We have been to this restaurant 3 times in the last 3 weeks. All the dumplings are so delicious! I especially love the pork/chives/shrimp flavour. we really enjoyed the hot and spicy soup with such abundant ingredients; we ordered every single time we went. The restaurant is clean and also simi open kitchen means you can see the chef working there. It is not cheap, and also I just wish they will have a few more selections of dumplings in the future. But it is easy eating and comfortable food that I have recommended to my friends. We will definitely go back there in the future.

Not much selection. Just dumpling like they specialise in and some random side dishes. They should expand the menu so that it caters to more people especially when they have big tables for bigger groups. You can't expect people to just eat dumplings.

The restaurant is nice and good but the prices are much more expensive than we thought( 2 people for $53) one plate of dumplings $16 or $18. The dumplings are less than our expectations, so we adds some cold dishes, I don’t know how they cook it but it’s kinda of bitter,there are many chefs(6 or 7)in the kitchen but the dishes are disappointed.

been there about a month ago，placed my order for pan fried dumplings，after 45minutes they told me they have not cook it yet and they dont think they can serve it to me soon，then they ask me to change my order. basacially I wait 45 for nothing and no one care to told me what is going on earlier. And it was not even a busy day. I saw they have around 6 to 7 people working in the kitchen, just don't know why it is that hard for them to cook one plate of dumpling
