Review Greenleaf Organics - Auckland

Fantastic, healthy food. Lots of vegetarian options. Great coffee. The Mexico bowl is 🥗😋👌

Auckland has a lot of amazing cafes however this is most definitely up there with one of the best....or actually is the best! Friendly and helpful owners/staff and the food is outstanding. My partner and I have tried everything on the menu and cannot fault a thing. We especially love their organic juices "organic tumeric alkalizing tonic". A wide selection of food and drinks...we return every weekend. A must visit!

This place takes away the guilt of loving tasty things. Eat all the food and drink all the coffee ⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️

WOW! This cafe/juice bar gives you a real home-like experience thanks to the friendly staff. They have a unique, wide and delicious variety of juices that are all organic. All of the things sold there are made on site and have no nasty ingredients (no preservatives). The only thing that is consistent between every juice is the delicious taste. Add their GLOswizzle to your smoothie and you will be feeling like a million dollars!. And as for their coffee, well thats a whole different story, in simplest terms, it is "Liquid Love." I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good time with friends, or a nice hearty, healthy lunch.

I called in to grab morning tea for a client meeting. I enjoyed an Allpress organic latte and my colleague had an organic green tea. We both enjoyed a warmed savory scone. The service was friendly and attentive.

Healthy, Delicious food, service with a smile, coffee is worth a trip there alone! One of the hidden gems in plain sight around Kingsland My Eden area

Always friendly and great coffee, but today I had a toasted chicken wrap and seriously, it was so yummy! I will definitely be back for that :-) Kirsty

Their Tumeric lattes rival none! If you need fresh healthy food this is the place - I’d recommend the tiger poke bowl for lunch 😍

Greenleafs Organic Cafe has a fantastic fit out. We parked in the main Kingsland shopping centre and walked for ten minutes because we had heard that parking was difficult near the cafe. We had a very good flat white and ginger latte that my daughter raved about. We shared an African chicken wrap and a sweet red slice that featured beetroot. Both were delicious.

They sell pyrony steak and cheese pies (vegan) amazing pies and when you have with salad it's the best salad! Highly recommend you guys give them a try. Lovely raw sweet treats too

I had the açai bowl and it was really nice! Quite filling and good portion size for the price. Also recommend the matcha latte and the bliss ball! Definitely coming back

Beautiful creamy smoothie and lovely crunchy salad. Service was very nice. Quite expensive for what I got but it felt nutritious and was yum.

This has tended to become a local for me and my hubby. The food is always top notch, and colourful and healthy and fresh, what more could you want? It has great atmosphere, friendly staff, wonderful coffee. It is now the first stockist in Auckland of Pyronys vegan pies, which they serve with a salad, or you can take away. Service is always efficient and friendly and the food is soulful.

After the Golden Latte, there is another trend making its rounds- the Pink concoction of a Beety Latte. How pretty does it look? And its tastes great!! I know people will think or are thinking that this healthy lifestyle fad is being stretched way too far.. however this Beetroot Latte trend can be justified. It's great for people who are trying to quit coffee. Beetroot has nitrates that the body converts into nitric oxide and this chemical increases blood flow and boosts energy. So if you always need that early morning caffeine hit, here is your decaffeinated drink to help you achieve that. And what can I say about antioxidants and anti-inflammatory? It's got it all!

I had my first cup at Greenleaf Organics with coconut milk. Notes were earthy yet sweet, nutty and airy and a perfect silkiness rolling in your mouth- but that could be the magic of the barista making her lattes just right. Coconut milk can be replaced with any other milk such a cashew milk, almond milk, soy milk...just ask at the counter and there will be options that float your boat.

My friend, the chocolate fanatic, had a Mayan hot chocolate and I'm glad she did. My goodness, it was soooooo dreamy, I think that one cannot just settle for one cup. This one's got cacao, mesquite, maca and coconut sugar, well what else do you want me to say to make it sound healthy? Almond milk? Okay, yes than it's got that or any other dairy free milk that you would like. Instant winter warmer, mood booster and morning indulgence.

I ordered a simple as open sandwich- mashed avo topped up with panfried dukkah haloumi complete with a drizzle of manukau honey is match made in heaven with its salty, spicy, sweet and creamy overalls.

And my friend ordered a Japanese bowl that has ginger tofu, salad, nori sheets, and some sweet and tangy kimchi all working together in harmony thanking the gods of vegan miso that brings them all together. If you are a vegetarian, this is how you will get this and if you prefer it a bit meaty, chicken will be added.

So now whenever you plan to have a detox day, make sure you make your way to Greenleaf Organics be it for breakfast, brunch or even lunch. Happy detox!

After a friend suggested it from reading it on denizen we decided to visit!
Parking can be a bit stressful but side streets are usually free !
First of all, I loveeeed their menu and the fact that the food wasn't overly expensive
I thoroughly enjoyeed my acai bowl
But one thing, they dont seem to be very consistent, even by judging from the photos
E.g. Ours didn't have banana but instead pears and layout different every time
If it was in a more convenient location I would visit more often!
Great service and loved your industrial interior!

Don't get us wrong, we love our deep-fried carbohydrates and buttercream icing any day. But sometimes, we like to pretend to be healthy eaters. Gotta keep up with the Kingsland yogi generation, right? Today was one of those days at Greenleaf Organics — home to some of the most delicious smoothie cleanses and health bowls. We fell In love instantly with their minimal interiors: concrete textures, pastel and wire chairs. A beautifully-elaborate illustration of an arctic whale, tessellated patterns and white chalk spanned the width of an entire wall. On their pinewood shelves we oogled at their health-food offerings (Serious Popcorn, anyone?) and pamphlets for mindfulness courses. This place really loves on you inside and out. In terms of food, their health-bowls were just as thoughtfully planned — bursts of colour and flavour. Try their Namaste bowl with curried lentils, curried kraut with poached chicken. It was a house favourite. Innie, the ever-adventurous order-er, got a kids' Teddy Bear toast — it was adorable. We showered it with photos then promptly followed up with another order. Check out the pics for yourself.

Check out our individual comments here: husk.co.nz/lunches/greenleaf-organics-march-2016

The beetroot chocolate slice is chocolatey smooth with like a chocolate chip base. Very nice! The ninja ginger slice is not too gingery and has a cheesecake taste to it. :) people are very nice!

Great place that serves healthy, raw and organic foods. Popped in for a quick eat and ended up grabbing a 'fern' smoothie, some raw chocolate-y dessert and the Mexican burrito bowl (takeaway).
Service was absolutely appalling, not sure if the front of house was having a bad day.
Food was good, burrito bowl was the standout. Great flavour, akin to that of the salads at Revive. Also enjoyed the dessert, although it was a bit too fudge like and rich for my liking (better that it was made of healthy ingredients).
Probably won't be back again as there are a lot of places in Auckland that deliver the same thing with better service.

A lovely quiet cafe in an unexpected location. Their sign is quite obscure so watch out for it!

Breakfast was underwhelming. But their lunch menu was delicious. We ordered a Mexican bowl and it was filled with delicious flavours and such healthy ingredients! Was also quite a big portion so was glad I shared.

Coffee could have been better though as my dry cappuccino was quite watery.

Healthy, organic food! Expect to pay more but your body will thank you. I recommend coming for lunch rather than breakfast - the menu changes with more variety.

The Mexican bowl was the standout for me. Two of us shared this and found it quite filling. It's full of raw goodness. The guacamole and beans were delicious. We added free range chicken to the bowl - this was tender though it could have been more flavourful.

We tried the scrambled eggs off the breakfast menu with sourdough. This was underwhelming and the eggs were overcooked which was disappointing.

Our coffees were ok.

Staff were friendly. The cafe was quite modern and minimalist.

Really appreciated the range of healthy organic breakfast and lunches at really reasonable prices. Staff were knowledgeable and friendly. Ambience and decor spot on. Top that off with great Allpress coffee and we'll be back.

Had been in for coffee & smoothies, which are all on point, a few times but only just had the chance to try the food. (Special mention the bottled dairy free iced coffee which made me very happy)
Loved it. The Quinoa Porridge was what caught my eye from my first visit and it's perfect. And so filling I couldn't finish it.. Although that might also have something to do with the fact I tried other people's food around me.
The breakfast plate is a delicious combo with beans(which are addictive), avocado, pesto, with toast..
The kids menu had a toasted ham and cheese sandwich... I sampled a bite.. And then another and another... And then I ate like half of it.

Will be back again soon and often.
I Love Food
Found this place by chance and absolutely love it. Beautiful decor and set up! Great place for a nice, healthy, light meal. I had the tortilla and raspberry donut. Really enjoyed both. Would definitely recommend the donut - so delicious! Bit on the expensive side but that's expected with raw/organic food. Will definitely be back to try more!
