Booked for a family dinner event at the restaurant over the weekend and the experience was excellent and they did not disappoint.
The food was fresh, hot, plenty and very delicious.

Ordered 9 large trays for my son’s 5th birthday and they were worth every dollar! Everything was fresh/hot and so delicious. So many of our guests wanted to know who made this and that and of course they were all the 8 roses trays. We didn’t travel far so everything stayed hot until it was time to eat. Salads were all fresh and tasty! Thank you so much to the 8 roses team for preparing such beautiful food, made with love. We held our mothers 60th BIRTHDAY here and from get go, we were accommodated by Eight Roses with the highest standards. The owners of this restaurant had PATIENCE OF PURE GOLD!!
Despite last minute additional members to the party, the owners were still able to welcome our group with open arms.
Food was devine. Choices for all age groups.
We were able to connect to the restaurant bluetooth to play island music for our entertainment as we had the restaurant to ourselves.
This family restaurant thoroughly deserves 5/5 star rating.

Had my mom's 60th Birthday there. Its nice for a small intimate celebration. The food was lovely and was fresh, unlike some places you can tell its been in the warmer for a long time. Oysters were nice and fresh! The service was amazing! They topped up everytime a dish was low.

We went here for breakfast last weekend and i must admit it was well worth it,we ordered eggs benedict,3 layer pancake and the eight roses mixed breakfast the portions were big and food was made fresh to order will definitely be returning thank you chef for the delicious food,the steak was on point👌<br/>

I loved this eggs benny!! I was pleasantly surprised I got 3 but always happy. Delicious hollandaise sauce, they have tomatoes with it which is a first for me but still good. The pancakes were thick and fluffy with a mountain scoop mascarpone😍😍. Amazing💯. Fantastic food, will be returning for lunch to try out the buffet. The service was a bit slow but still friendly. It’s standard cafe prices but not standard Otahuhu prices but you get the value that you pay for.

Most creative and amazing breakfast combos in Auckland, great service and always welcoming. My kids say Eight Rose's has "the best butter chicken ever!" Also great for the traditional Sunday Lu pulumasima and ufi! (pictured is my mum at 8 Roses after church) Great work Kato and Feleti, all the best for the future!

A hidden gem in the heart of Otahuhu. Highly recommend this restaurant for families. I'm so glad to have this place in Otahuhu. Everything exceeded our expectations, the meals served were great value for money. Quality was exceptional. Customer service was excellent. Restaurant felt clean and ambience was very relaxed. This time we went for breakfast menu. Lunch and Dinner is buffet.

A family owned business, owned by a beautiful Tongan family, we had a double date here for dinner, if you are looking for some good island food, come through to Eight Roses. It was a good meal, very filling buffet, the team were very welcoming and made sure we were well taken care of.
