I stumbled upon this gem by chance. What a lovely cafe with delicious pho and very friendly staff! I also loved the corner for kids - will definitely bring mine next time! The menu says the Pho is the best in town and a must try - they are not lying!

Bahn mi (Vietnamese baguette) and bun cha (rice noodles with pork in sauce on side) are my top favorite Vietnamese dish, here I can get best of both world!
I like how they have the liver pate in the bahn mi, which many that I had in Auckland had replaced with other sauce.
Bun cha comes in quite a large portion, the pork and seasoning are great!
We had the pho too, it was alright, the soup was rather simple, not the kind of herb based one. If you are a fan of simple beef soup, this is something for you!

It is one of a few places that I can get a good coffee and a good lunch in a nice setting. Daniel is so approachable and accommodating. The meals maybe a little pricey but look - what we enjoy in return.

This was my first time coming here and we couldn’t fault it. My partner was happy with his pho, I had a great omelette with super fresh toppings and we got a Vietnamese coffee to go which was also spot on.
The play area in the corner is well stocked for the children with toys and even books for older kids and a table close by is reserved for parents.
The owner is super friendly, knew a number of locals by name and went out of his way to accommodate everyone.
I feel caught between doing a review and sharing this place and keeping it to ourselves as our secret spot so it’s not too busy, we enjoyed it that much.

Amazing little cafe, as well as servicing standard cafe food like eggs Benedict, they also have a range of Vietnamese food which tasted out of this world.
Service was spot on. Great recommendations. Very well priced for what you get as well.

We love this place. Excellent, very friendly service. Coffee is perfect everytime. Food is very tasty and cabinet treats are delicious. Kid friendly with a little indoor play corner. Lots of indoor seating and some lovely outdoor seating.

The food is incredible.
For a Kiwi white guy who had never dived into Vietnamese food before, this is the perfect hybrid for experiencing some authentic Viet food.
For those after Western meals, 2/3's of the menu have all your staples and classics, which are super tasty.
But when you're ready for the full experience, go for a Beef Pho or a Bahn Mi and your mind will be blown!!!
Super tasty! Daniel (the owner) is always happy to make drinks which aren't on the menu, and the cakes are 10/10!!!

Superbly creamy cappuccino- milk perfectly done. Was a long wait without warning or estimation of wait time for a takeaway coffee- so next time I’d ask cause you might have time to go to the beach for 20minutes while you wait. Or perhaps they should provide sudoku or magazines/newspapers to distract us all from waiting.

Best coffee shop in the Bays! Daniel the owner genuinely cares and loves his cafe. He takes the time to connect with his guests and looks after everyone. Always super clean and cheerful, with excellent food and great coffee. (My office away from home..)
