Review Heritage Cuisine Of India - Auckland

I wrote a review on this restaurant 4 years ago , as being best Indian food in Auckland . I visited 2 days ago , again with family and friends . Whole place was Full and we ordered lamb chops , malai chicken tikka , Kaka mushroom and Veg crisps , Smoked Paneer and Dal and Mango icecream and Rice and Naan breads . This time, let me speak of vegetarian food . OMG i dont like Paneer but i loved their smoked Paneer masala ,Mushrooms i have never eaten anything like this - they just melted in my mouth and Mango icecream was xotic and not very sweet and 4 plates of mango icecream just disappeared . Lamb chops was stunning and full of flavours . Customer service was very friendly and polite and most of all prices were very reasonable . So i will say this is probably best indian reataurant in NZ . I strongly recommend everyone should try this food and you will not get disappointed . Thank you heritage team 🙏

Amazing food! So full of flavour! We went for an early dinner so not too many other diners which is why I marked the atmosphere lower but the place is lovely! Great service! We will be back for sure 👌

Great restaurant with friendly prompt service. Serves a combination of traditional and modern indian dishes. If unsure help is readily available from the very knowledgeable staff who are only too glad to help. The bonus here is that the cost are very reasonable. Starter and mains for 2 people were under $100 which is a rarity in Auckland.

Husband and I just loved the food and service. We had mushroom tikka, seekh kebabs as starters, delicious kofta n kadhaai chicken as mains. Absolutely loved my cocktail Rani sa 😊 We will be back soon 😃

Very flavourful and large portions, probably the best Indian restaurant in Auckland. Staff are very friendly and professional, it's always a pleasure to visit. They also have great drink selection which is always a bonus.

Really great meal out at Heritage, staff were super friendly and efficient, food was lovely, really nice vibe and clean/modern bathroom. One thing that I noticed was that they were super busy with takeout and delivery orders, but it was well run and organised, and didn't affect the dine in experience at all. Will definitely go back.

The portion and price were both great. Food were tasty .The venue was pleasant and clean, with good ventilation and no odours that were trapped. The staff was courteous and efficient.

I had recently organised my dad's 65th birthday at Heritage and honestly I couldn't have chosen any better place than this. The staff were really nice and accommodating to all our requests. The food was amazing and everyone had such a good time. The private dining room upstairs was spacious and of a good size to fit in around 30 guests. Amit was the one liaising with us and he was very helpful and took notes of all we expected for the event and had done just that. The prices were reasonable as well and the lamb rogan josh and methi chicken was bomb!!! It was a first experience for most of our guests at this restaurant and everyone commented on how amazing the food was. Our waiter during the event was also very helpful. Extremely happy with how the event went, all thanks to Heritage Cuisine of India.

We were a table of 5, the service was spot on, once we had ordered, the food appeared very quickly. Was delicious and my guests left very happy. Thank you!

i consider myself to be a Foodie and i love trying out food of different restaurants .In my job i get to travel the world and i like to try as many restaurants as possible. Today i tried HERITAGE Cuisine of India in kingsland, Auckland . Wow what a food , i tried the following - Chicken Lollipop shown in first picture- it was just divine and it had excellent flavours and very juicy inside.Chicken was very well cooked and a MUST TRY for KIDS AND whole family. Second picture was Lamb chop - i must say i have never ever tried a better Lamb chop than this,which just melted in my mouth.This was the best i have tried across the globe. Third was Dal makhani and again the favour was from Authentic North India and lastly i tried Market Fish - which was totally new to me .It had Fish with lemon rice and coconut sauce and beautiful flavours. And i tried Strawberry MAZITTO made by Amit.It was made of FRESH Strawberries and again MUST TRY.I cannot describe the favours and i ended up having 3 of them. Their Service and presentation of FOOD was great .It was almost Full and several pick up orders were being picked up.Still the staff was very well mannered and great service . I strongly recommend if you love food you must visit Heritage indian restaurant in Kingsland .I have no doubt in saying that this RESTAURANT will be one of the best for AUTHENTIC INDIAN FOOD in Auckland or NEW ZEALAND by Far. thank you to Team of Heritage for GREAT FOOD Tonight,i will be back soon.
