Review Bisou - Auckland

Isabella Clague
I have visited Bisou cafe several times and have consistently enjoyed their fantastic savory buckwheat crêpes. The crêpes are generously filled and have a delicious salty flavor. However, I would not recommend Bisou for large groups due to the small tables. Even after pushing two mini tables together, it was still quite a struggle trying to fit everything on. The carrot cake was nice, although it was a bit dry and overly sweet. It would have been great to have some walnuts and raisins for added texture, and serving it with yogurt could have provided some moisture. On the positive side, the service was prompt, and we were able to walk in without a booking. Additionally, there is ample parking available. Overall, is Bisou is a great option for small groups.

Came here with my daughter. My favourite dish is the chicken liver pate. As good as the ones you get at Fed Deli etc. Really good value for money. Will happily return again to try the lemon tart as that looked delicious but we didn't have space to try that.

Wow, it was so good we came back more than once while visiting Waiheke for the the weekend. Great coffee and many tasty temptations to eat!!! Super friendly owner and staff. We will make a point of visiting again when we are next on Waiheke. (Sue says thanks for being her lucky charm that helped winning at cards while we enjoyed the outside table and coffee)

Cozy place and hearty menu of lovely crepes and pressed juices. We loved our little quiet time there on a rainy day on the island.

A niche French cafe in Waiheke selling a range of savoury and sweet crepes. The coffee and hot chocolates are also fairly decent. I would highly recommend the savoury chicken, bacon cheese and mushroom crepe (5/5), lemon crepe (5/5) and the apple cinnamon crepe (4/5). The lemon tart here is also really good (5/5).

Bisou Cafe became my ‘home away from home’ every morning during my 4 day stay on the island. Genuinely nice people and super great food. I immediately felt like a ‘regular’, of which they clearly have many! Highly recommend!!

A little hidden gem. They have a great selection of crepes and coffees. Wouldn't have given a second glance (considering that it's on the main road) but I was definitely surprised with the food, service and overall charm it gives. It now is one of the new favourite places to visit during a getaway to Waihiki. It's got plenty of space inside and outside even with kids. The food and drinks are brought out quickly so there is not much of a wait time. Thank you 🙃

Lovely French baguettes, plain au raisin etc. Coffee is excellent. Very pleasant, you must try it. It is NOT inside Surfdale Foodmarket. All good.
