Review Jax Burger Shack - Auckland

Heard about it. Saw a dozen ads on FB. Went there on a whim & was overwhelmed, yet satisfied & so glad I'd been there! Burgers are huuuge. You may not "need" (or be able to finish) the chips, but they're SO yummy! It was SO good & worth the prices. Friendly service, and yummo aioli. Keto/vegan options available.

You can never go wrong with what to order...because everything is a must try! I've tried most of their burgers except Chicken Jax because its humongous! If you want extra flavour I recommend requesting hot sauce on your Pablo burger. 😍 My son loves their Popcorn Chicken so much. And still the best store-made (not store bought) Garlic Aoli and chips! 😘👌 This is not a fast food store, everything is prepped, cooked and done in the kitchen as you order. Very friendly crew (just be nice too, ok?) and you get to meet the owners too. I will definitely try their desserts soon... 😋 If you are a big family and wish to dine-in there are limited seats. Mine are always delivered fresh, crunchy and delish! 😉

First time trying this place out my order was taken by the owner 5/5 stars for his customer service alone. Must say these burgers are huge I had the kiwi burger combo all though the angus patty wasn’t my thing with dry tasteless mince as the patty, the chips are tasty and full of flavour. Awesome atmosphere to dine in will definitely be back in future to try out another burger

Amazing service, very enthusiastic and very knowledgeable about the food. Created a really happy vibe in the place. The food is amazing as well, huge burgers and the fries are amazing too. Best of all, the burgers actually look like the ones showed in the menu, like the size and everything is the same. Overall a wonderful experience.

First time at Jax Burger Shack for dinner. Prices are a bit on the expensive side BUT their burgers DO NOT DISAPPOINT! Burgers were 10/10. My wife and son had the cheeseburgers (minus the veggies for the picky mini me) and I tried the Pablo. Portions were big and the taste exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended! We will definitely put Jax Burger Shack in our fav eat outs list!😁 Meet Pablo, pictured below.😋

If you’re craving for some neighborhood burger near ormiston this place is a must try. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Good serving size and the flavor is just right. They have some interesting burger that must try.

We had a group of 7 of us. Staff were great at accommodating us for seating. Burgers were hands down best we have ever had. You want great service and exceptional food then do yourself a favor and go get yourself a burger

I tried Jax Burger for the first time and boy!..it was great! I went for the Pablo and Chicken with melted cheese burgers, with fries of course.The bun was great, meats cooked to perfection and the garlic mayo one of the best I ever tasted. Great recipe!! I wouldn’t change a thing. Highly recommend!! Thanks Jax! Will be back again very soon.

One of the best burger in NZ. Being vegan we tried The Purebred burger and it was delicious. staff was so nice and helpful. We definitely gonna come again n again. keep it up guys.

Jax Burger is a new burger shack that opened up not too long ago. I heard from a friend that they do Uber Eats which is awesome! Have been in a few times and the food is always made to perfection. We are never disappointed by the amount of filling in the burgers, and the sauces work amazingly in both the burgers we have eaten. I tried the Chicken Burger ($8.90) and for such a cheap price it was 100% worth it. Cheaper than some burgers sold at fast food chains but tastes 10x better. The homemade aioli also tastes amazing and the chips are super crispy! The reason for the 4 star is that some people I went with said that the chips were too heavily salted. The joint could be a little cleaner too. I did notice the front cashier person clear the rubbish bin but it does get overloaded with the amount of rubbish left after customers finish their meals. The floor is also very slippery for some reason, maybe changing the cleaning products or mopping it more frequently would do the trick. As you can tell I am a harsh critic but Jax Burger certainly does not disappoint with the flavour and taste of its meals. I recommend!
