Review Copain - Auckland

Their croissant always is full of flavor, Le flan kind of tasty like egg tart but different so must try! Le Noeud is my favorite pastry this is only weekend. I think it would be much better to give coffee to a glass instead of the takeaway cup :)

The bakery has a couple of parking spots beside the door. You walk up the stairs to the bakery and see the counter full of tasty treats. They sell both sweet and savoury items. One side is refrigerated while the other is at room temperature. There are different items available between the two cupboards. They also had tables and chairs around the area to eat in. I grabbed a selection of items, some for me and others as gifts. The canele had a nice flavour but it didn't have a crunchy crust. The chocolate eclair was tasty and rich but again I thought the choux was a bit on the soft side. I also had the salted caramel puff which was also really nice. It was a nice place to grab tasty french treats with their fairly decent selection of tempting goodies.

by far the best in Auckland from its classic croissant the folds are magnificent you know the quality was just fantastic it's Danish sausage brioche beignet canele chouquette we had maybe almost 10 different types and none failed only downside if the place gets busy the area is a bit small but it won't stop us to go will definitely comeback

The beignets were warm and delicious. The Nutella beignet was not overfilled or messy. All of the pastries and sandwiches were artfully displayed and the staff was friendly. Definitely worth a detour.

Lovely interior, friendly staff and delicious almond crossaints! I would highly recommend their almond crossaints and also their baguette styled sandwiches are delicious too. Also has good flatwhites. The Croque Monsieur was a little disappointing as it was already pre-heated in a warmer and was dry (they did explain it was so that they can provide a service quickly for them, which is understandable). Hence when I go back, will be more so for their fresh baking goods and coffee!

A French bakery just off Ponsonby road that has a wide range of baked goods and sanwiches on offer. The DF and GF coconut cake was a bit dry and overall very average for me. Wouldn’t order if again. The hazelnut tart was great though, balanced sweetness and distinct nutty flavour. Would love to come back and give their croissant a try!

Amazing bread at Copain. I love their brioche load which is soft and buttery. They also do amazing baguettes and sourdough!

The baguette sandwiches are really good!! I prefer le poulet. Will come again to explore more breakfast choices.
