We spent a most wonderful time here. The weather was perfect and the boat ferry ride in will be something I will never forget. This place really does need to be seen to be believed Paradise on earth ❤️
I don't normally do lunch, but after a few hours on the ocean, the fresh salt air, I was hungry, so when visiting Otehei Bay, I called in at the Otehei Bay Restaurant.
What views, great menu, good atmosphere, delicious kai, great kāwhe, tasty cider.
It's definitely the place to visit when going by or stopping at Urupukapuka Island.
Gorgeous view of Otehei Bay! Nice and simple food menu. Can enjoy from inside, on picnic benches or on bean bags! Very relaxing!

Loved the ambience
We stopped here as part of the Hole in the Rock cruise. Most scenic and beautiful island with very few people. Made for a brilliant short walk and photos. The restaurant was nice - we noticed such a nice thing with the cruise crew also helping out in the restaurant as they were short of staff.
Lovely bay in between the many islands. You can spend some quality time with friends and family. There is a cafe where who can enjoy some drinks and food. This bay also offers to spend night on it either you carry your own tent or rent room from them online.
Water is very lovely over here. Clean and not too dip good for swimming and post that the bay has nice sun to get some Vitamin D
Incredible setting. Food average. Catered for allergies with the basics.
Great to sit outside in the sun. Fine coffe. Great egg salad sandwich. Friendly personal. Nice toilets.
We anchored here for one night. When we were settled we rowed ashore to the cafe for a sundowner and a bite to eat. Lovely spot to relax. As the sun went down the chorus from birds in the bush was next level! Highly recommend this place.
