Review Tasty Tiny Thai Restaurant - Birkenhead

Wonderful restaurant where the food is exquisite and at a very good price. The place is beautiful and has an uncommon sea view. The attention is very good and at lunch they have a special menu with more affordable prices. Just in front there is free public parking. I recommend it 100%.

We ordered Thai Beef Salad and Panang Curry online for takeout. The food is so tasty and in the reasonable price. Portion is good enough too. [Update] We made our 2nd order for Mango Curry and Pork Num Tok warm salad. Tasty and fresh as before. Highly recommended.

Please try this restaurant.!! They have the best duck curry in the town. Also their salad is amazing. Usually we get deliver. But this time we dine in. Last time we had pork belly salad and papaya salad they were so good but thai beef salad is the winner for sure. Unfortunately for pad thai I m not sure if I loved it. It was not my favorite. But they deserve 5stars for all other dishes that I tried in there. Oh their soups are great too! Tomyam and Tomkai

The best Thai takeaway that we have had. We had the crispy pork salad, chicken larb and pad see ew with duck. All dishes were packed with flavour and decent portion sizes. Delivery was free as we lived in the area

Nice little hidden gem in. Lovely food, Affordable prices and quite reasonable portion too. The view from the restaurants is amazing! Can't wait to come back to eat here for dinner

Lovely thai food, hidden little gem in Birkenhead. Food is delicious, staff is friendly and service is great. However food seriously overpriced, the tamarind crisp chicken is too sweet, small portions.

Lovely meal. The only reason we gave it 4 rather than 5 was because the duck was too salty. Otherwise, service was fast, friendly, and meals were fresh. The restaurant is downstairs from the road entrance with sea views out the back windows.

My friend and I stopped in for lunch after visiting the cat cafe. Neither of us are experts in Thai food but we loved our dishes. Since it was lunch time, we got the lunch special, which is a decent price for what you get.

Was my 50th today so went for dinner here. Absolutely amazing food. Great service. Great atmosphere. Loved it.

The quality of the food is truly fantastic. With a large portion of meat and very well prepared veggies this was the best quality I have had nearby. The only negative was I ordered a medium but got an extra spicy so that was a but of a surprise but I enjoyed it all the same. Thank you

Best Thai food. We enjoyed the Duck Red Curry and Pork Sweet n Sour with sticky rice. Both sauces were devine! Food was fresh, tasty and morish. Service was fantastic, ambience reminded me of Thailand

I’ve tried pad see ew all over the area and this is my favorite by a long shot. The spring rolls our very good as well. There is occasionally a day where the flavor is a little off but oh well. The view for dine in is beautiful too.

Great takeaway, we ordered tofu Pad Thai, beef Ginger Wok and duck Curry. Really enjoyed all of the dishes and nice sides of roti and coconut rice. Will order again soon!

Absolutely mouth watering and delicious. I’m Thai and this is my new fav spot. Tastes exactly like the food my aunties would cook at family dinners! I ordered the beef noodle soup and crispy pork salad. 😊

Had a really positive experience here - Loved the ambience, the staff were so friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious. Also if you get a table near the window, the views are amazing! Only downside is that I don't think it's accessible for everyone, as you have to go down some stairs to get to the restaurant? But otherwise, I enjoyed the dinner here and would definitely come back.

Amazing food, big portions and lovely stuff! It’s a hidden gem, found by accident and loved it! Came to dine in on 13th of October and the waitress there is very sweet and helpful. The food was so yummy and the portions were huge. Would definitely come back and recommend to others! Thank you for a beautiful dinner!

We had an entree and main course- The mixed entree was nice, although it didn't include a satay chicken stick which was a little strange. For main we had the Lovely Duck and Massaman Beef, both were delicious. Would definitely return

Our first visit to this Thai restaurant. When we first walked into this restaurant, it smelt very strange. When we sit down after ordered our food, we smelt some chlorox smell coming from nowhere.

We ordered Tom Yum soup, pineapple fried rice, fried veggie and fish cakes. It was a very disappointed experience that the food was not taste like expected.

Tom Yum was not sour nor spicy. The prawns were not fresh and were tasteless. The fish cakes were ok but only four slices. The veggie was normal soy sauce fried veggie nothing special. The pineapple fried rice was not good at all. It tasted very weird that the pineapple cubes had a yarky taste (kind of the pineapple was soaked in water uncooked for quite sometimes and the pineapple taste became something else) and this taste made the whole plate of rice taste disgusting.

Rated 1 star for its night view and for filling my tummy, that’s it. Sorry will not return and not recommended.

Hearing good reviews about this restaurant. Was looking forward to try it out to see if it would be the new local Thai place to dine at regularly. Average overall. Eaten at a number of Thai places - both fine dining and those claiming that "authentic" Thai taste cuisine.
This one, started off slow - first 30 minutes, only the entree had been received. Wasn't too busy (it's a Monday evening). At the 40 minute mark, received 3 mains + sticky rice dishes ordered. Pad Thai is the benchmark, 4/10. Larb 5/10. Pork dish - wasn't too sure whether it was beef instead 5/10. Not necessarily the best value - was okay. Will be a while before trying out again - most likely summer time.

The yellow curry was delicious. My husband thought a bit more chicken would have been even better. We will definitely go back there!

We were recommended Tasty Tiny Thai by some friends and have been now here both for dinner and lunch. The setting is really nice, down some stairs off the road and great views opens up through the windows along the southern wall.

The menu is excellent for vegetarians (I eat a mostly vegan diet, although I can't guarantee that the options are strictly vegan - I didn't ask). The friends and family that I have been with all rated the non vegetarian dishes too. Great flavours and nice presentation.

The lunch time special is a bargain at the equivalent of food court pricing! Wow.

We've been served by two different staff at the dinner and lunch and both were very warm and took great care of us.

I believe in writing reviews for people who deserve it and Tasty Tiny Thai are in that camp... Please go and give these guys are try and support a really nice place!

Thank you Tasty Tiny Thai and we will be back many more times :)

The food here was awesome! We tried the tom yum which is really good. We also tried the fresh rolls and veggie wok which is also great. The place is hard to find because the sigh outside is small but the ambience inside the restaurant is awesome. Its overlooking the harbour bridge and the staff are extra friendly and nice! This place is definitely a must try!

Food 9/10
Staff 10/10
Service 10/10
Ambience 10/10

The food at this place was absolutely tasteless. Upon letting the owner know how the food was i was told that takeways food can sometimes have that issue because of the steam from hot food...

Nice service, good decor and fantastic view can't make up for very tasteless food. The chicken satay was one of the worst I've had - like something you'd find at a buffet. None of the main courses packed a flavour punch despite the menu warning of a high spice level. Overall impression was of a kitchen with no clue how to cook authentic Thai food. Not good value for money.

Ordered off of uber eats - curry turned up and was curdled (which can happen from sitting in a container, so most likely no fault of the chefs). Entrees were cold and we were put off the whole meal by the curdled curry. One of the employees handled the situation very well and even came to my house to collect the food and provide a full refund. Will definitely be going into the restaurant to try a fresh curry as the service was great.

This is a new place, the service was friendly, the restaurant has a wholesome vibe, with good food, solid serving sizes and fair prices. Will be returning : )

We will definitely be back! And recommend you try it this amazing Thai food. Tasty with just the right amount of heat. We had the chicken satays and kraree cuffs. Both where great but my husband thought the puffs had the best amount of filling and the pastry was light and not over cooked. The chicken larb was perfectly cooked and tasty and best of all not over whelmed with onion. The lucky duck curry again very tasty and would order again. Pad Thai was also great. In and addition to the great food and friendly service there are also beautiful views back to the city.
