Fresh veges in the chop suey and plump mussels from the fryer. Good healthy food if you order the right stuff. Keto options include all the chop suey dishes, which are veges and meat/seafood. (just dodge the carrots if you're strict keto). The egg foo yung dishes are also keto friendly.

Always great food and service. Been going there for years. Better than the one in Takapuna. Food is well cooked, not greasy and very nice. The staff always have a smile in their faces. Parking can be hard at times but worth it.

I enjoy the honey chicken and the chicken fried rice, used to live in the area and moved away a couple years ago, but was in the shore and had to stop in and grab some honey chicken and chicken fried rice, have tried same dishes from different places and none as good as this one. Just my own opinio

We have had the plain fried rice and lemon fish on white rice a few times now and have been very satisfied with our meal.

Pretty standard fish and chips for Akld. Hot dog was Pacific Gold premade type. Batter was on the heavy side. Chips were decent and scoop size was about average. Not too oily. Service fast and friendly.

Keep going back because same chefs and service since i don't know how long. Can rely on quality.
