Review Saint Clair Vineyard Kitchen - Blenheim

What a fabulous afternoon at Saint Clair with wine tasting then followed by lunch. Beautiful venue with great friendly staff and fantastic food and wine. We were so well looked after and made my partner’s birthday celebration a very memorable occasion. Huge thank you to the front of the team as well as those in the kitchen produced the most delicious food. Highly recommended for wine tasting and dining!

We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch today. Very friendly, helpful waitress (Melanie?) We shared an amazing platter between three of us and incredible desserts! It was a stunning day and as we went out to get some photos another staff member came out to offer to take photos of us together. Thank you all for making our day memorable 🌞. Highly recommend!

It started with a wine tasting tour and it ended with a absolutely lovely lunch and another round of wine tasting on the weekend. We had lunch in the vineyards and it was unique and so beautiful. Perfect weather too. Lunch was absolutely gorgeous. We had the Kimchi Fritters which was very good and for our mains we had the Celebration Malborough Platter and paired wine a glass of syrah and block 29 Albarino. Absolutely delicious 😋 All the wines we tasted were so delicious. So difficult to choose which wine to buy. We ended up buying 2 bottles of Syrahs and a bottle of Block 29 Albarino to take home to Malaysia. If only we could buy more without getting taxed upon landing back home ☹️Special shout out to GAVIN for introducing us to the various wines. You are a gem 💎 Thank you for giving us an experience which we will cherish forever. Kudos to the team and we'll see you next year in end February or early March 2024 😉 😀 Peter & Hong Malaysia

Beautiful setting for a lunch. Service was impeccable. The grouper wings is a must. Nicely done with a superb sauce. The chowder was very tasty though we wished they used bigger cuts of seafood. Highly recommended. They have a great gallery next door too!

Visited this vineyard whilst touring both Islands. Wonderful location in the Marlborough region, fantastic wine and superb food, with friendly staff. A big thanks goes to Crystal (one of the staff). She saw us walking back to our campsite whilst she was on her way home after her shift. Recognising us as guests she turned around, picked us all up and drove us to our campsite. Fantastic service and goes a beyond the call of duty. Thank you for a great time

What an excellent experience! My husband and I have visited many vineyards/wineries and this one was certainly one of our favorites. We were shocked at how personalized, detailed, and intimate the tasting was. They made us feel like VIP! A special shout out to our guides, Gavin and Chloe. They were so knowledgeable and accommodating. Some great stories too! If you're in the area, this is a must-visit, you won't be sorry!

My wife and I visited in January 2023 and really enjoyed ourselves at Saint Clair. The vineyard smelt great and the wine was brilliant - 2021 Wairau Reserve Sauvignon Blanc being our favourite! We stayed nearby so driving was not an issue. There was a very kind resident to drop us off, and it was easy to arrange a local taxi service to take us back from the kitchen. We loved this vineyard so much that we now have framed printed artwork from the estate to display on our wall back in the UK, giving us memories to last a lifetime, thanks to the amazing team for going above and beyond! We can highly recommend a visit!

Had a fantastic wine tasting experience here! Gavin was a perfect guide through the wide variety of wines St. Clair produces and helped us pick up the subtle differences. We felt like we were amongst friends. The tasting room is beautiful and the views from the vineyards are stunning, even in early spring. Would love to come back in summer and see the vines really filled out!

We arrived at 12.30pm on Monday and it was fully booked until 2pm. We decided that it was worth waiting and we were not disappointed! But you should book in advance for sure. We were finally seated outside as we wanted. We asked for wine tasting, for two of us we tried six different wines and the service was fantastic! We ordered bread and dips platter with homemade pate, fish of the day and the cheese cake and coffee at the end. Everything was superb! The wine is amazing... we would absolutely recommend this place to anyone in the area.

Haven’t actually dined here but just wanted to say thank you to Ashley for arrange a voucher to be presented on the table for my mum’s 60th lunch reservation (I couldn’t be there in person). Was beautifully presented with a handwritten note, thank you! Hoping to visit in 2024 from Aus!

Excellent Reserve Pinot Noir to go with the best meal we had while in NZ the staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable great place to visit thanks to all for a very enjoyable afternoon

We always make a point of visiting when we're in Blenheim. Great food especially the platters and fab wine. Stunning setting and venue.

My wife and I can thoroughly recommend the Salmon an the Braised Beef. For dessert the Cheesecake and Chocolate Lava Cake were divine

Beautiful setting nice presentation of food but so bland I ordered pulled pork Asian salad. No flavor at all put some fresh chilli lime juice coconut milk something in there but nope so dissapointing. Also inspiration from the garden looked good but also really bland. Very average to poor wouldn't go back. Mabe chef shud taste the food? Small menu so expected alot better.

Birthday party of 11 people today and we all loved every minute of it from the staff,wines and meals. Everything was fantastic and we will happily return to try something else on the menu.Our waitress was 10/10 and I am only sorry I forgot to note down her name.Your service made my friends 60th birthday celebrations really special.

The Pinot Gris’ Rose was even better by the second bottle! Overall the staff who did the tasting with us gave a beautiful special story to accompany amazing wines !

Thanks so much to the lovely team At Saint Clair kitchen. Food was delicious, all the family loved it. Pulled pork salad, fig Parma ham and goats cheese salad, delicious, kris nearly died eating his Marlborough seafood platter it was that good and he wouldn't share a thing. Zara loved the tacos.. Desserts were Yummo to. Brûlée , peanut butter trio and chocolate sundae all a hit. Fabulous front of house too. They were slammed as I imagine the kitchen was to. Bit of a wait for our meals but it was exceedingly busy as it was Mother's Day so they did exceptionally well.. Stefan apologised for the wait when we paid the bill. And to top it off a pressie on the table as well for mums.. Small bottle of wine and cookies. Thanks team you are all stars hope you got to chill out a bit afterwards.

Thanks Saint Clair for a great school holiday lunch treat! We REALLY appreciated the free kids meals promotion. If restaurants offer an incentive like this or free drink on Mother's Day etc as opposed to simply advertising it really makes people want to eat there rather than anywhere else so well done Saint Clair. Both food and service was excellent!

Great lunch out with superb food and Pinot Gris to match. The service was top and very attentive. Our host waitress was very knowledgeable about the wine. Thanks for a great lunch out.

We were a returning party who had precooked a table for lunch. We had to wait some time to be seated and then waited some time for drinks whilst large tour groups that arrived after us were seated and served first. However our waitress Chiara was outstanding as was the food. She worked hard and was very attentive.

Such a beautiful autumn day to have a 30th birthday. The whole staff went above and beyond to cater for a big group of people along with the crazy kids running around. There were no problems at all. The food was beautiful, along with the timing. The staff were so friendly and flexible along with being super helpful with a cake that was bought in and not made in the kitchen. At the same time there was a 50th, and due to the lovely autumn weather it bought in many of the locals. It's been the best service I have had since arriving back to Blenheim nearly a year ago.

Platter was amazing and the service could not be faulted. A great place for a long leisurely lunch looking out on the vineyards.
