Loved everything service food and nice and warm on a cold night. Ribs as a entree was big enough as a main with chips. The brulee was amazing. Will be back.

Large ale house with wood styled decor. Good vibes and really busy so make sure you book. We both ordered the lamb shank, you can get medium or large which means one or two pieces of lamb. One piece was big enough for me and two pieces was a bit much unless maybe you’re starving. Vegetables were great, loved the mash and Kumara potatoes. I did like the lamb but there were a lot of fatty bits that I’ve not experienced anywhere else in NZ. I had a glass of the angus the bull cab sav which went really well.

Had a lovely lunch with some friends, a great wine and an amazing sauce that goes with lamb shank! Would come again for sure

Great place for lunch, chicken wrapped in bacon stuffed with cream cheese and cherries 🍒. Awesome!

The food was absolutely delicious we enjoyed our entire evening . The music, food, different cocktails. Lovely we will come back again. Highly recommended.

Good food, Nice atmosphere, polite staff. Asked for a jug of beer and received the largest jug of beer I'd ever seen :) I ordered the Flinstone steak salad and chips. All off it was delicious. Highly recommended.

Brilliant place to visit, staff, food excellent

Good meal, great desert. Pricing is a little expensive, but that world we live in now.

Absolutely loved the food and the service was excellent definitely made my birthday great even tho they didnt know it was my birthday so we will definitely be back thank u again

Had the first and chips which were great. Need to ask for extra sauce but the staff is happy to help. Comfortable atmosphere and seating. Plenty big for groups.

Down from Auckland for 2 days doing work for the airforce. Great meal and service, very helpful and friendly staff. I will be back, actually, I'll probably see you tomorrow......

This is the second time we have used your space for our personal family events in the function room and both have been a great experience. I would like to thank Kim for her excellent customer service. Easy to work with and made discussions with table arrangements comfortable. She and her staff during the hours of our event were attentive and very patient when it came to our orders. Lovely staff! Delicious food! I called in & had a good look around it was like a museum , the service was out of this world 🌎 the food was unbelievably tasty . I made friends with about 6 blokes who were all rural based and had a blast .
