Review Rocco's Italian Restaurant - Blenheim

If I could eat here every week I would. The service is relaxed & friendly. Proper garlic bread with sundried tomatoes and olive spreads. Steak cooked perfect, veal done in a delicious creamy sauce. I would visit Blenheim again just to explore more of the menu of this restaurant.

We came here for dinner and had Spaghetti Bolognese as well as Crumbed Fish Fillet. Both is delicious. The wine selection is also very good. The only thing that gives a minus is the interior - looks like from the 80s. But the food makes up for everything!

Absolutely delicious meals, friendly staff. Highly recommend. Meals are totally delicious, cooked to perfection, flavors are amazing and great value for the money. You want an excellent experience go here.

"The ONLY restaurant that get my steak right in Blenheim." Ordered a rib eye medium rare and a tortellini pasta, both were awesome, haven't had a great medium rare steak in a while especially none in Blenheim. Pasta was also really sumptuous. I would have given a 5star if not because the wine i had was not as great as the food. But i am sure i will visit here again.

The staff were welcoming and friendly, the food was great and the decor has been the same for a very long time. If I had to say one negative thing, it would be that there wasn't much bacon on the fillet mignon, but, it tasted great- and it had bacon! The steak was tender and cooked as I requested. The garlic bread and dips, the scallops and the chicken were also great. A great place to take the family for dinner.

A classic restaurant that always serves great food. Nothing much has changed here in years. The portion size is generous. Reasonable wine selection. I've been a few times and will keep coming back.

Forget everything and just concentrate on the food, the kitchen team are super amazing with what they produce. Absolute plate licking meals

This is my favourite restaurant in Blenheim. Excellent service. Friendly staff. Beautiful eating area. The food is amazing. I always get the penne Al pesto. It's really good and big main dishes

Oh My. Took my hubby there for tea tonight and i want to go back tomorrow night again. Steak was perfect. Veges were beautifully cook and so much flavor. My chicken keiv was so good with plum sauce. Worth every cent. We'll Be Back

Loved it, had an italian feel to the decor. Private dining space with friends in a booth with plenty of table room. Attentive helpful friendly staff. Great choice of dishes on the menu. Tender sliced beef in a mushroom sauce, creamy potatoes and a vegetable side dish. Garlic bread could have had more butter between the slices but was tasty with two extra spreads provided. No room for dessert

This is by far the best restaurant in Blenheim. It serves PROPER Italian food (none of this pizza junket), has great service and a great atmosphere. We have eaten here several times in the last 8 months, and while the decor might be quaint, the food and service is always outstanding. They even managed to fit us in on a busy Saturday night without a booking. Blenheim is a cliquey little town with few good places to eat, but this is one of the best & is better than most places you'd find in a bigger city.

Excellent service, very friendly and quick. Dated decor could be jazzed up with red checked tablecloths and chianti bottles with candles. Meals were good size and well priced but not memorable and pretty much what we would cook at home. Expected to see many more Italian dishes -ie Risotto, Arancini, Ravioli,Cannelloni, bruschetta, Gnocchi & veal dishes etc but guess there is not the population in Marlborough to support. Maybe think about updating the menu?

We turned up on time for our booking and were left to sit in an alcove for almost 10 minutes until we asked if we were able to sit at our table. This gave us a chance to "admire" the decor - it hasn't changed since it opened and needs a major makeover. Once we sat at out table, we were waiting for about 10 minutes for a waitress to provide a menu, and take drink orders. This apparently doesn't happen here. We had to go up to a bar and order drinks ourselves. The wine menu did not have pricing by the glass, only the bottle, so one has no idea what wines are available by glass, and the price thereof. <br/><br/>The waitresses were pleasant - no issues there. I was disappointed to see no pizzas available at this supposedly Italian restaurant. The menu used Comic Sans font which made me feel like it was a child's menu. I ordered a meal with steak and mushrooms (something "Funghi"). The meal was fine, but was certainly not a $30 meal. All meals are approximately $5-$7 overpriced for what you get. <br/><br/>In short, the food and the atmosphere are fine. The prices are certainly too high, no pizza is offered, the decor is awful, and the service could be much more attentive.

We are local &amp; this is our favourite place to eat out. The service is always friendly &amp; helpful, the atmosphere is cosy &amp; the food is AMAZING! The pasta is always fresh &amp; really tasty. Great value for money, I can never finish my meal &amp; I happily accept a take-away box so I can enjoy it again for lunch the next day. Highly recommended - make sure you try it.
