Review Main Street Fish & Chips - Blenheim

We stopped in for fish & chips & a crumbled Dory. The fish and chips were fantastic but the crumbled Dory was amazing. The breading was light and flaky with great flavor that accented the fish. The batter wasn’t overwhelming and was just right. The Dory was a meatier fish flaky and sensational with a crumbled batter that enhanced the flavor of the fish perfectly. The fries for the fish & chips were a little too salty for my liking but they were still delicious. This place only has a counter & waiting area but take away your meal & find the perfect atmosphere to enjoy your meal. Service was 3 stars just because it was nothing over ordering and no small talk. Highly recommend the crumbled Dory.

Best fish and chip shop in town! We go here every couple weeks and it's always great. I love the burgers and rolls, and the donuts are to die for. Chips are top tier.

No flash shop, fancy decor eat in facilities. Just awesome takeaway like they should be. Hands-down best blue cod I've had in years. Totally mopped the floor with those fancier outfits. Massive compliments to the team.

The best fish and chips I've had in 10+ years. Proper old school kiwi fish and chip Shop. The batter on the fish was actually perfect, tasty chips. Battered sausage was fire and the potato cakes were banging. Pretty busy, so I'd either get in early or call ahead. Kia Kaha.

Stayed with friends in Riverlands and shouted them fish n chips on a busy Friday night. I’m no spring chicken and I travel all over NZ but these had to be the very BEST fish n chips ever, anywhere. Big piece lovely white fish, crunchy batter and the biggest chips! I’ll be back!

Great quality fish and potatoes, only giving it 4 starts because the fish was super oily and they don’t put even a little bit of lemon to go with it.

We ordered wedges, burger and fish. Service was pretty quick and the staff were very friendly. Our scoop of wedges was a little small, but my wife liked the flavour. My burger was ok, if a little over mayonnaised. Most importantly the food was hot and tasty. They had plenty of fish choices, along with their own tartare and mayonnaise.
