Review Thai9 A Restaurant - Blenheim

Genuine people, delicious food. We ordered a main dish, two rice, bbq pork spring roll and two drinks which totalled just under $50. Decent portions of really tasty food. We have already spread the word and we hope to be back!

Great service, authentic Thai food. Knowing that I like spicy, the waiter brought a small dish of spicy chillie. That's being thoughtful, Will definitely recommend this place.

The best Thai food in nz so far! We were just stopping by before ferry. Had a really nice meal and we came back again for lunch before boarding. Always finish everything in the plates! I have been to Thailand three times and I can tell this is a real Thai food place! Highly recommend this restaurant. Thanks for the amazing food and lovely service. We will be back if we come back to South Island again.

Chicken pad Thai was delicious. Succulent chicken, zesty flavours, and sauce really tasty. Prawns well cooked in another order too. Roti was a little overpriced but delicious nonetheless. Reusable bags a nice addition as well. Will be back!

This thai restaurante is really good. The chicken Pad Thai is one of the most delicious I've had in NZ, the chef is very friendly and the atmosphere is nice. I put 4 stars because unfortunately the portion was small for 20 dls, compared to other restaurants we've been to, so at the end we were left hungry.

Had a lovely meal & the service was great. Was nice & warm also. Will definitely go back there.

The restaurant itself is fairly basic but the food is pretty authentic, the curries are not too watery and not too thick. The chocolate spring rolls are awesome for desert but make sure to get it with coconut ice cream. Would happily return.

We had a unique request this evening and the staff were only more than happy to accommodate us. Was such a fun experience. Thank you for the care and thought you put in tonight. Appreciate it and highly recommend. Food is amazing. We will be back.

The food and ambience is fantastic, must try if ur in blenheim The owner Ping is amazing he helped me organise surprise for my family for their anniversary , without even asking for advance he just dis his best for them,highly appreciated ❤️

We had a lovely meal at Thai9. The staff were very friendly & attentive. There were lots of food options including vegetarian & keto. I had the spring rolls for a starter, they were lovely, crispy & no oiliness. For my main I had the chicken stir fry with cashews & honestly it was the best I'd had anywhere. The vegetables were varied, fresh, well seasoned & the sauce was fantastic. So many cashews! My partner started with the Tom Yum soup which he really enjoyed & said it had the perfect balance of sour & spicy & for the main he had the Pa Nang curry, which he'd never tried before. It was so beautifully fragrant that when it arrived at the table I wondered if I should have gotten that too. Very reasonably priced 2 starters 2 mains 1 glass of Sauvignon Blanc all for under $70, you can't beat that. Can not recommend Thai9 restaurant enough, we will be back.

We ordered Tom Yum and a stir-fried dish +desserts. They were all really-really good! The service was on point as well. Has a nice athmosphere! Would reccomend to stop by!

Dont be put off by dim lights if it happens your up for dinner, they'll eventually turn the lights on, joking aside had a sumptuous meal before heading back home. Highly recommended.

A very nice place with yummy food, decent prices, fast and polite service with a smile. Only feedback - they could bring some more authentic Thai ambience into the space. Would recommend and go again :)

I honestly walked in thinking I got the wrong menu online! Us 3 diners experienced fine dining level service and delicious, authentic food. Big portions on mains and the decor is well above the menu prices. We would have expected to pay a lot more than we did. Next time we are in Blenheim, we will be back! Also I asked for extra spicy mains and they obliged, even bringing me an extra milk tea free of charge when they saw me demolish the first one. A+

Highly recommend Thai 9. Delicious food and excellent service. We will definitely return again for another meal.

Thai green chicken curry was delicious and spring rolls also good. Typical Thai service, very friendly. Restaurant itself lacked atmosphere but don't let that stop you going.
